Have had nothing but the best service. From being greeted by Lisa as the front desk, to Brea as my nurse to Amber as my doctor. Always smiling and happy that you are there. Very professional and excellent at their jobs. Never had to wait that long to get back to a room or in the room itself. Amber has helped me immensely and I cannot thank her enough. We tried different options and now have landed on the solution that works best for me. Guys with Low T or think you have Low T or just don't have the energy you once had, make an appointment to see Amber, you will not regret it. She and her staff are excellent!

They are always friendly & know us. We never have to wait that long to see Amber or Dr Banno. ALL of the staff is wonderful, professional & courteous. I have been a caregiver/CNA over 10 years & have dealt with a lot of doctor s offices & Midwest Urology is by far my favorite. I highly recommend them

I truly enjoy offices like Dr. Banno s. The staff there are great. They know who I am when I walk through the door. My wait times are never lengthy. It feels so personalized when I m in there, and when I m walking in I always get greeted with smiles from all the staff in the hallways as I head to my room. I would chose this this practice time and time again!

Midwest Urology needs to send their front office to customer service training. My experience with the on call nurse is calls are not returned the same day and if you miss her call you get to leave another voicemail and your call goes to the bottom of the list again. It takes two to three days to get an answer.

When you get in for your appointment, which is usually quick you are left in the examination room for ever. I took the nurse practitioner an hour to come in to get my blood draw ordered. Guess what Midwest Urology, I m busy too and I don t have all day to sit around in your offices!

I cannot complain about the Doctors but if they are unaware that this is how they treat their patients, their customers, shame on them.

I will be looking for a new practice where I am valued as a customer.

Find somewhere else to go unless you want to track your own blood work, call the doctor to ask what is next, do all the leg work for prescriptions and then be treated like you are just a pay check for dr. Bano...overall was a pretty poor experience. And the "simple" procedure gave me a few complications and when I followed up the staff there seemed like they had seen these issues from this dr before.

Called to see why a appointment had been cancelled and found out that the Dr we see is now with Unity Pointe Urology and the person on the phone was very very rude and would not give me a phone number or anything, so I drove there after work and found out they are in the same building and actually right next chair iver(same office just a few feet away from the front desk person for Midwest!!! I called the office mgr about the situation and that was a waste of my time!!!!!! She was no help!! So if you went to anyone at Midwest Urology besides Dr Banno you had better check because it is all different now!!!

I came here considering the PRP shot from Dr Banno. The moment I decided I didn't think it was the treatment I really needed, his attitude changed. The staff is friendly, but they prefer patients who pay for the higher end treatments that insurance doesn't cover.

I just called to set up an appointment. Will never make it to the office. The woman who was setting up my appointment was very rude. She acted like I was annoying her by calling to make an appointment. I m in a lot of pain didn t appreciate her attitude. I ended up hanging up on her.

If I could give a half star I would for the staffs horrible customer service! Nancy the referral surgical scheduler was unhelpful, blamed everyone including me for her making an appointment with a Dr not in our Network. She told me to go ahead and report her laughed and hung up! I have never had someone treat me in such a disrespectful way, granted right from the get go she had me worked up so I wasn't nice back but who would allow someone to treat their patient that way??? Unacceptable and I will do my best to let everyone know not to go there!!!!!!!

Literally the worst office I've ever been to in my life. Dr. Banno has terrible bedside manner and the front receptionists are rude. No one told me what to do after my procedure, what to expect or look out for. The staff really makes Dr. Banno seem like a really great guy, yet he can't even say "hello" and introduce himself right before a procedure. If you're serious about bedside manner and being treated like you matter when going under anesthesia, this is NOT the place to go!

The only reason I am giving them a one is for Dr busey otherwise I would give this office a big fat ZERO. I had botox surgery with Dr busey. Absolutely love him. He is a wonderful doctor but his staff SUCKS. the front desk and call back nurses are incredibly rude and insensible! I am having complications from my surgery, literally retaining urine to the point where my stomach is bloated! Have been to the er twice this week and they refuse to schedule me a post surgery follow up appointment! Out of all the doctors in this office they are telling me that no one can see me on an emergency basis other than the nurses. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE A NURSE! I WANT TO SEE MY DOCTOR! I do not care how qualified you think your nurses are if they were that qualified they would be doctors! do I have to die for your office to take me seriously????!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS!

I wouldn't know. I was referred here by my doctor and I needed to reschedule. I got a voicemail , I left a message and every time I call I am sent back to that same voicemail. No one has called me back yet and this is pathetic. Go somewhere else.

Been calling this place trying to setup a new patient appointment for like the last 3 months. The lady who handles new patients never answers her phone and never calls back? Good luck getting anything from this place.

The doctors are great. Some (not all) of the office staff are really annoying. When they make mistakes, they won't own up to it. If they are busy when you call them, they may pick up the phone and immediately hang it up, or put you immediately on hold before you have a chance to tell them anything, where they could redirect the call (sometimes more than once as they pick up the call and immediately put it back on hold) . They definitely need some serious training in customer interaction and support. Some of the office staff are ruining the reputation of the whole firm.

Doctors that tell you your symptoms are in your he...

Doctors that tell you your symptoms are in your head. Went back for multiple visits demanding tests and putting my health in the hands of incompetent staff. Took YEARS and seeing a different doctor on staff before I was diagnosed. No follow-up for bills that were missed, the whole medical billing system is screwed up but these guys take it to a whole new level. There were a few on staff that were redeemable and this might not apply to everyone but don't take your chances. Dropped a lot of money on that place for them to tell me it was in my head and required me to make multiple unnecessary visits - if they had done something in the first place, I would have been diagnosed sooner and had a lot less stress and worry that it really was just me. Don't trust your life to this place.

Dr. Banno is new to Urolift, but I thought I would...

Dr. Banno is new to Urolift, but I thought I would give him a try because it is now the state of the art for most surgical corrections for BPH. The nurse practitioner did a cystoscopy. He took 15 or 20 minutes to do a 5 minute procedure. About 30 pictures were taken by the Nurse Practitioner. For some reason, my bladder was filled before the procedure with a fluid that contained lidocaine "to deaden the pain." When I left the office, and for the NEXT FOUR DAYS, urination was very difficult because of intense burning. This is not normal. I have had two other cystoscopies in my life. Neither of them required lidocaine. Today's cystoscopy was done by the man who will be my new Urologist. His name is Gregory Andros from Joliet. He is highly qualified to do both green laser and Urolift surgeries. Dr. Andros himself did this test, not his nurse. He took five or six pictures, identified the problem and had a game plan before I left the room.

In addition to the issue of the proper way to administer a cystoscope, the practice seems to be operating in a very stogy good ole boy system in which doctors do not "take another physician's patients," even when the patient is not returning to the other physician's office for care. A couple of days after the cystoscopy, I received a call from Midwest Urology. I was told the doctor could not do the needed surgery "because you are another physician's patient." I guess I have been operating under the mistake notion that I could actually choose my physician. I never had the chance to discuss this matter with Dr. Banno because I never saw him in two office visits.

I am giving this place a 1 star rating because the system will not take 0.

I would give 10 stars if possible. Everyone there ...

I would give 10 stars if possible. Everyone there was over the top friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Lisa greets everyone with a friendly smile ( can see it even behind the mask!) and after a visit or 2, she calls everyone by name. Very impressive being she sees a lot of people each and every day! Next person to mention pulled off a miracle in getting my surgery worked in before the end of December so my insurance would cover almost all of the bill as we had paid our family deductible and family out of pocket amounts. This miracle worker is Nancee !!! She worked for days to get this handled, and got it done. I will be forever grateful to her. Amber is one of the nurse practitioners and she is just so awesome. She really knows her stuff and after exams and tests she fully explained our options. We lost one option due to my condition, and she fully prepared me for the surgery. Josh is Dr. Banno's PA and he is skilled, kind and everything you could want in a medical professional. He did some testing to determine the final plan of attack, and he was spot on perfect! ( I am embarrassed, but the young lady who was with him during the procedure that Josh did was super as well, however her name escapes me... So sorry) I saw 2 people after surgery, Amber of course and Brea. Amber told me how good Brea was, and she was 100% correct. I was very nervous about the follow up, and Brea fully explained what was about to happen and made the procedure almost a piece of cake !
And of course there the Dr. Banno himself. A very well respected Urological surgeon, he has a great bedside manner, took the time needed to fully explain what was going to happen in surgery and made sure all was good after I was in recovery and beyond.

I would recommend this group to anyone needing any Urological help of any kind, from minor to major, they can, and will make things right for you.
I know I will be a patient for life, and have a better life because of their fine work!
