Midwest disability did a very good job on my claim happened much quicker than either one of us expected and I am nothing but happy
Amazing people and very professional. Answered my questions and was able to come to be by my side for court. Excellent! If someone has a disability concern...don't wait, please contact them!
Awake craniotomy May 4, 2017 to remove brain tumor, have stage II cancer, worked professionally 20+ years, multiple permanent side effects with shortened life, and as if July 20, 2018, claim no court date even possible til June 2019! This company claimed to start working on my situation June 2017, which was a lie. Too many attorneys out there to bother with this completely unprofessional company. At this rate I'll be underground well before my court date...no exaggeration.
From the initial phone call and throughout the process they were polite and very thorough. Couldn t be more satisfied. I highly recommend Midwest Disability!!!
Affordable, Reliable, and Effective, very friendly staff.
I am very dissatisfied with Midwest! They missed my original court date. They never showed up, so I decided to represent myself. Which I did I great job which even the Judge said. Midwest goes and request another court appearance which now prolongs my decision. I attend the new court date and this time my attorney is present. The Judge ask are we going to review the whole case again..my attorney says yes..the Judge asks me the questions I previously answered. Nothing changed! This hearing was shorter than my original one, because I had already answered all the questions and went through the procedure. I won my case and was approved, but still had to pay Midwest $6000. UNFAIR! Their attorney did absolutely nothing on my behalf. It was their job to appear to my original court date not inconvenience me, because they dropped the ball and I picked it up.
Very much appreciated. Did all the leg work with just the info provided. Did not have to go to court. They did all the work.
Amazing! I felt protected and secure in their hands. I trust them indubitably.
This firm is very good and patient and they fight for you and get the job done and they will get you the benefits that you deserve! And you don't even have to leave your home because they do all of the work for you!!
This firm is
They really got my disability started right away.
Thank you
They where very helpful and they made me feel like i was family, they handled my case very well and professionally, thanks, i will recommend you to all my friends and family.
I called midwest disability not knowing what to expect. I gave them my case details. They went to work right away. They keep in touch with you throughout the whole process. When you call they answer any questions you may have in a timely matter. If it wasnt for them I dont think I would have been approved in the 5 short months.
Midwest Disability attorneys and paralegals were professional and on top of my case at all times. I felt supported and they made the process easier to go through and not overwhelming. Thank you
The Midwest disability team has been helpful in organizing my specific disability by listing including feedback from close family who is more familiar with my kind of limitations. They also kept my legal case in tack in a step by step process until I achieved favorable results. I would highly recommend this law firm to anyone with serious disability issues who wants the very best on their side*. Phil ward
I came to Midwest Disability because I was diagnosed Heart failure. . These people have done good job of getting my disability benefits to me in a timely manner.
They got the job done and handled everything, and even got me an appointment with the state Doctor.
Once we got started, I did all the leg work. I feel that all they did was put their name on it. And sat back and collected the money that they did not deserve. I will not recommend Midwest Disability to anyone.
It was a long outcome ,but I'm happy with the results!
They did an awesome job for me explaining things I didn't understand and all
It was very hard for me to apply for disability as I was very embarrassed that I could no longer work after working my whole life from the time I was 13. I was raised to always be proud and do your best at any job you have.
Midwest professional where so respectful, kind and understanding of my feelings. They treated me professionaly and with dignity.
I am so grateful to them for helping me threw a very difficult time.
They were able to get my disability through. I had to get them all the info, give them all the doctors info and notes, and many other documents because they didnt get it. When I was denied the first and second the I found the issue, not them, and it was because Midwest did not send in all of the information that I gave them.
They need to step up and do what they get paid for OR they should pay the person that does the work which in this case I would have gotten a large amount of the payment.
The whole process was well organized, the staff was very friendly and helpful! Very happy!
This firm worked hard for my disability keeping me informed every step of the way. They were always available to answer questions and to alleviate my concerns. I highly recommend their services.
Played phone tag with these people for 2.5 years! 2 days before my hearing I had my baby 9.5 wks early and couldn't make the hearing 2.5 hours away from my home! Instead of rescheduling my hearing for me I got a NASTY letter in the mail about my "ability" to show up at a hearing and never to contact them again! I was very un-impressed!!!!!!
they were very easy to work with and they got the job done quick
Extremely pleased with the service I received from day one. Very professional and helpful. Would recommend to any and everyone the need to file for disability.
To put it bluntly, this Law firm is for you the people. When the chips were down they kept fighting for me. They put in the work to get you what you deserve. I 100% advocate for Midwest Disability. Though your health might not be as good as it was, Midwest Disability helped me with this pain. Get at em when u need help!!!!
Really good fast service,I got my results faster then i expected Will and have recommended others.
Thank you midwest
I am extremely pleased with my outcome. The whole team kept me on target with each Dr. visit. They helped me keep track and reminded me. This was very helpful when I really needed this type of support.
I really appreciate this firm and the work they did on my case. I had no idea what I was in for; but, Midwest walked me through every aspect of the procedure. A lot of work went into my case; however, Midwest did not seek funds until my case was approved. Although it took a little longer than expected, Midwest came through with flying colors. I received maximum disability benefits and did not have to pay until the end. I liked them from the beginning and I m glad I stayed with them.
Midwest is so awesome...Made this life transition so easy .Very professional! I gave them the info they needed and did not have to worry about. Before you know it I was excepted.. They are honest from the get go....THANK YOU MIDWEST DISABILITY!
I am so happy with the service I received from Midwest Disability . If not for these disability specialists and attorneys I would not have known how to proceed with my claim. In a 2 year period they kept in regular contact with me through the mail and phone. Kept me up to date in regards to my claim, and all info needed from me, I would have not known how to proceed without them. As well as being available to answer any questions I may have, at any time. I am so satisfied with the help I received from Midwest Disability.
They were fast and precise, I will recommend Midwest too my friends and family. Thank you Midwest
During the nine months I was represented by Midwest Disability, I only spoke to one of their lawyers twice. The lawyer that represented me at my Administrative Law Judge hearing was a contractor who knew nothing about my situation and cost my second appeal. I did however, speak to tech clerks on four occasions during that entire nine month span. One said I should be thankful for my injuries because I have it better than most people because of them. As a Wounded Warrior, I found this profoundly offensive. My appeal denials were based on the false notion of "having no injury prior to one year ago." Midwest Disability erred by allowing Social Security to discard 15 years of prior records detailing disabilities stemming from deployment injuries that persisted and worsened over time. The reasoning was made more ridiculous by the fact that I applied for disability eight years ago for the same injuries. So to say I have no record of disability prior to a year ago is simply a testament to the lack of concern Midwest Disability allots for their clients. I didn't even know my lawyer's name and contact information until after my second denial. This company should be avoided at all costs; it is obvious they are a sham that takes cases to gamble wins and losses purely for profit purposes. There is no way someone like me should have lost my case. I have been rated 100% Permanent and Total by the VA for more than 10 years, and was medevacted from overseas and spent a year in a military hospital.
This company is pretty Great all you have to do is be patient and the company will look out for you Great job .
Midwest disability was totally wonderful. They were efficient, courteous, fast, and totally did all the work for me. I couldn't have done it without them.
They were very helpful and helped me with getting my disability. Thank you!!
They help me get my disability.they where very helpful and I got fast results and I'm very happy
They helped me get my ssi in 5 months no appeals went smooth thanks Midwest disability
They are exstreamly polite and they did an amazing job on my case
Very professional. Very organized. Kept me up to date every step of the way. Trustworthy and dependable. Someone was always there to answer my questions. Very happy with all the staff. Great representation. Job well done! Very very happy with the outcome. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work.
Well, I have to tell you, when we got to the hearing phase I received less than no info. I recently received my letter from the judge but I don't know when to expect my "winnings" so to speak. I have no idea how this all works. Because the attorney was scheduled for back to back to back hearings, she had no time for me. If you're going for a hearing know that there is major construction and knowing where to park was a huge mystery. I was almost an hour early but because of a lack of info on parking I was almost late. My hearing was 2 weeks ago and the only thing I know is that my case was "won". I would like to know when to expect finances.
They have always replied to my questions, and have told me just what was going to happen and the time frame it would happen in.
Whenever I called, everyone was very polite & helpful. They did all of the work for me, which was very helpful. I have referred 2 friends to the company, & I will refer whoever asks which disability company I went through.
I contacted this law firm in February 2020, they were very professional, alway willing to help and explain your claim to you if you had any concerns misunderstandings and appeals. They handled everything for me I didn't have to do anything, but sign my name on the documents. Had a judge court hearing January 2021 and February 2021 I received a letter saying I won my case. I am so thankful. I would recommend this law firm, trust them,, be patient and things will work out in your behalf
Unlike the group that Midwest Disability we completely on the upside of the law and how it could be applied to my condition. LF is still in the process of trying to withhold payments due to me.
Before the SSI Disability board everything went down just as described when I first talked with their representative. If things pan out with Lincoln it yet could be a win win situation.
Great group to work with. Just make sure to listen and do exactly what is explained to you. Everything will be handled by their team!
It was perfect. Just do the paperwork that they ask you to fill out any time they send it to you. Keep all appointments, do not cancel. They get a percentage of what your back pay is, no more. Social Security will advise you what is being sent to them. They don't handle anything else once your case is settled. Monthly pay, back pay is all done by social security and the amount isn't decided by the attorney, it is depending on your work history, what you were paid. People get so upset and assume that the attorney didn't fight for more money, they have nothing to do with it, it all comes down to how many years you worked and your earnings. Google stuff before making judgement. It can all be confusing.
I am very pleased with Midwest Disability. They expedited my case in a very favorable time frame with a favorable outcome. Thanks for all your help. You guys rock!
I'm a 52 year old man living in Illinois. I've done construction and hard labor work since I was a teenager. I worked hard, had a great reputation and made good money. Unfortunately, after many years my body started to show signs of abuse. I continued working the best I could but my body shut down. My back is in real bad shape. I simply can't work anymore. I didn't know what I was going to do.
But then I found Midwest Disability. I didn't know what what to expect because I've never traveled down this road before. So, I took a chance and put all my trust in Midwest Disability and I'm so glad I did. From the very first phone call I felt comfortable. I was told what to expect, how things work. They constantly kept me informed and mailed me all the necessary paperwork. After about a year later, it all came together. I highly recommend Midwest Disability for all of your disability needs.
They were very good and thorough. I had a lot of questions and insecurity while the long process commenced. The staff were really helpful. I 100% recommend them.
Very satisfied with the whole process. Highly recommend.
This Company messed up my whole disability case.First they dropped off 5 years of the settlement to make the case easier for themselves even though I suffered terribly and couldn't work in those years.. I got a "Fully Favorable "decision from the Courts. This Company did not file the proper paperwork for my claim so I am only receiving SSI and not a penny from SSDI.Then they just quit my case leaving me with no Lawyer and no SSDI.I definitely would not recommend them.
Midwest Disability was always available when I needed to contact them throughout the whole process. All staff were polite, pleasant, and compassionate. I never felt alone in the process. They took care of just about everything which allayed my fears.
The experience was great thank you for your help . And I would and have told all my friends about Midwest disability..
Thank you
Dennis Coggins
Did more than I expected answered every question I had so I can understand what was going on thanks you have changed my life. The whole thing was painless it takes time but well worth it. Thanks again!
Great experience. Communication was clear and easy, and they got me approved. It was well done.
My life changed dramatically in an instant when my body malfunctioned. I underwent 3 major exploratory intestinal surgeries in a period of 14 months. Prior to the first surgery, I had made a cross country move to return to my home state. I began a new position with the Federal Government. I purchased a home. Major life stresses in less than 6 months. I haven t been able to work since my 2nd surgery and it s looking like another surgery may be in my near future. As I was completing the magnitude of Federal Disability Retirement paperwork, I did a google search to look for attorneys that could represent me in getting Social Security Disability. I found Midwest Disability. I read the positive reviews of clients. I made the call and as I talked with the representative, I felt myself relax and silent tears began falling. As a single woman, the fight to be awarded disability was stressful and overwhelming, to say the least. The stress made my physical condition worse and weighed greatly on my mental health. Now I was speaking with a person that, after giving her some info over the phone and completing the paperwork that came in the mail, Midwest Disability did the rest. My case worker was always there to answer my questions throughout the process. I was awarded Social Security Disability in less than six months. Social Security paid Midwest Disability out of my back payment. It was the best decision I made to get Midwest Disability on my side. They did more than win my case for me, they gave me peace in knowing I wasn t alone in the process.
Had great interactions with staff. Helped get what i needed..
They did a good job for me, and stuck with it through the appeal.
I am very happy with the services that was provided to me by Kimberly and the staff at Midwest Disability. They handled my claim in a timely manner and I was very impressed with the results.
VERY TENTIVE TO ONES NEEDS
ANYTIME, ANYWHERE I WOULD RECCOMEND
I had almost given up hope, it was coming up to 4 years. After meeting with my lawyer who was very professional, I felt much better. The office staff was also very helpful. After going to court the office staff was very patient in my anxiety to know the out come. I would highly recommend them to any one.
In the beginning I had wonderful pretrial intake staff and they followed up every 3 months the first year and a half with phone calls and forms mailed out. But then things became difficult in my life as I was facing a house foreclosure and no one knew or wanted to help me with a hardship letter to ask for my hearing to be expedited and I submitted it on my own and was granted a hearing sooner and the firm had no idea what I was talking about because of communication or snail mail I guessed.
However, I was being switched from caseworkers and lawyers and after receiving my hearing notice date they wanted me to sign an approval for additional attorneys to my case because that way they were able to get double the cut from me even though they state in the letter how it doesn't affect what I pay them it's still the same percentage but left out that both lawyers got that percentage.
Furthermore, just prior and after my hearing my caseworker was being less and less communitive with me and at least 4 times
Tony B wouldn't call me back unless I left several messages or went through more than one answering service or telephone number to get his response or finally I had to call and leave a message for my attorney Benjiman L who would return my calls. And leading up to the payment process no one checked my banking information and my backpayment that was suppose to get mailed as the letter from social security stated was sent to a wrong bank account and I had to go into social security to prove who I was and my banking information. Benjiman did state he would assist if my funds weren't coming. And a secretary gave me the number to the district social security office to work out the details which was a wonderful help as I got to find out then I had to go in after the banking problem delayed any payments by 1-2 weeks for the back pay.. And a month after social security attempted a wrong bank account deposit, that same day they deposited the back pay I got a letter in the mail about what happened with the unknown checking account and the funds a month prior getting returned and a number to call. And a week later I got another letter saying how the social security office will pay me a certain amounts month but now they are voiding the 2 months I was suppose to get for April and May because it takes 2 months to establish the new bank account. So I am suppose to contact a representative in their office.
In the meantime I was getting letters from Midwest Disability about how they were done working with me but yet I am still not receiving my monthly payments or back monthly payments. I feel Midwest Disability should follow through to the end of this process to ensure your receiving your back.pay and monthly installments before cutting off their services to a client. I'm feeling a like a blindfold was put on me and I am trying to pin the tail on the donkey to win my due settlement.
This place is the best got results in 7 months can't beat that
I think that I did the right thing to get ahold of them. They are very friendly and they helped me get my Disability to go through, and I can't thank them enough!! I will definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thank You again for all you did on my behalf, Sincerely Debra Shannon.
They wouldn't do an update with me. Only wanted medical updates mailed in. When hearing date arrived I had a 10 minute counsel with the attorney. I was totally new at this. I lost my case; and I was dropped before I could even appeal. I guess my case wasn't worth it to Midwest Disability. I pointed out discrepancies in the courts decision and Midwest Disability totally ignored me and informed Social Security they no longer represented me. Midwest Disability stated an attorney spoke with me I do recall twice before the hearing to give me directions date and time. I never had personal contact until right before the hearing. I did contact them back as stated because I worked a day but, I worked. I was denied their help because it wasn't enough work history. What did that have to do with the fact that I have was asking for help I have good work history. But they want to put a cap on it!. I wanted to go to the office to go over what they collected to make sure everything was ok. I was denied. This was before covid-19.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Thanks for getting my disability for me.
My experience was awesome they helped me greatly and only took 1 appeal im so grateful!!!
Always professional and courteous. They did all the work for me. I was approved first time.
I could never get a call back , I always new more than Danny R .I did not like her so much that I asked for another representative .
Midwest disability has always been very detailed and upfront. They always answer all my questions. They so that they care and they don't take no case they are not gonna win.
I've helped numerous clients apply for social security through midwest. They are thorough and very courteous. I'd recommend them to anyone going for social security.
Very helpful in getting my case started and finished in a timely matter thank you for all your help I don't think I could have done this on my own.
By far the absolute best decision I have ever made. I've been fighting trying to get disability for the last five years, I hired Midwest disability at the beginning of the year and filled out their paperwork and withing a couple months they had all of my records and had a hearing date set.
I met my attorney on the day of the hearing, she was wonderful, very pleasurable and great to work with, I was approved for disability before the hearing was over with, we hammered out a couple lil things with the judge and wrapped it up.
I have and will always recommend Midwest Disability to any and all of the individuals fighting for disability, these guys are top notch in my book and will always be !
Thank you Midwest and your hard work !
If your searching for representation in your fight for disability look no further !!!!
They never return any calls back or help you with any paperwork that needs to be filled out it s a waste to pay them there fees at the end I got my disability on my own
My wife used Midwest Disability and, everything turned out Great. She finally got her Disability case settled. It took a year but her case was complicated. But through it all together they pulled it off. Thanks Midwest Disability
They did a great job. They provided everything that was needed so i got approved the first time for social security disability
Very professional, consideration given to the client
Their truly professionals and very prompt with their services, I recommend them if you are truly in need of lawyers to represent you
they did exactly what we wanted them to do lie, cheat and steal.for those who think that you were dissaproved .well you were in your state.but not in your lawyers state.they have stollen your identity and have given it to one or more of their ralitives and their living real good off of poor and disabled americans.I just be glad when GOD Corrects. As a combat veteran I would be honored to hand out the much needed correction that these type of people needs.but for now lets let GOD HANDLE IT!
Yes I am happy that they did help get my disability for me. But I think that what I got for disability was the lowest amount ever heard of. I'm not happy bout my monthly payment not happy bout how many years it goes back pay. I was told if I appeal it to look for different lawyer to do appealing. I was told three times the amount given monthly and told five years back pay since I started it in 2015-2020. I only got 8 months back pay. So no I'm not happy with them.
I USED THIS SERVICE AN WAS VERY IMPRESSED. YOU HELPED ME OUT ALOT. I DO APPRECIATE THE HELP.
We hired MW Disability after receiving two denials. From the time we hired them, my husband never spoke with a lawyer but was only assigned a caseworker. They would only contact us to ask if we had any updates. No one ever reviewed our file and gave any recommendations on what we should do to help his case (ie...visit different doctors, physical therapy, etc.). On a whim, I requested a copy of our file that social security had and found out that for one of his surgeries they had contacted the wrong hospital who sent back records saying they had no record of his stay. This was over 6 months AFTER the visit....clearly their "caseworkers" are useless and do not due their job either. We FINALLY ended up in front of a judge after almost 2 years and our "lawyer" didn't even bother to meet with us until right before we went into court. She was not helpful at all and it took me asking all the questions on what to expect and telling her what is problems are. It was clear they wait until the last minute (which is to frickin late) to bother to review your file. Perhaps if they actually did this before hand he wouldn't have been denied by the judge. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING TO GET THEIR 25% ASSUMING YOU DO ALL THE WORK FOR THEM.
If an actual lawyer is not willing to meet with your, prior to you becoming a client you get what you "paid" for. Lesson Learned!!!!
They have done work for me and my wife I couldn't say enough about Midwest Disability. I would recommend them to anyone.
Seeing it was my first time calling a disability Law Firm I was a little nervous. Midwest disability put me right at ease. They talked me through everything on what I needed to do they let me know what they were doing at all times. If anybody ask me if I know of a disability Law Firm I will definitely tell them Midwest disability is the place to call you will not regret it
The service was, professional and handeled well. They did a great job with me.
The process was very quick and was always treated with respect and in a timely fashion. I would recommend them always and already have. Thank you for your time and help
My name Antoinne Elmore if it wasn't for Midwest Disability I don't know what I would've done on how to get my Disability started I pray every day for Midwest Disability and I thank the whole law firm for helping me and it didn't take long at all thank you Midwest Disability
