I am very satisfied with my Ford Escape so far and will be bringing it back to the Ford garage for maintenance. I know if I have a problem I can get in touch with Morgan and he will help if he can.

I've bought two vehicles from Midland Ford. First in 2012 I bought a brand new Escape and had zero issues.

Two weeks ago I bought a used Silverado. They offered me a descent trade-in on my wife's car and a good price on the truck. The used car manager seemed like a pretty sneaky fast-talker but the price was right and I purchased the extended warranty plan. Within about 8 hours of leaving the lot my check engine light came on. It became overtly evident that they cleared the codes prior to me coming in. I scanned it and took it back the next day for service and demanded they fix it.
The service department seemed understanding to the issue and said it would be covered but would take two days for parts to come in (as they don't stock GM parts, this was reasonable and I was not upset). I returned a few days later for service and got my truck back later that day with no more check engine light. About 12 hours after getting my truck back the check engine light came on AGAIN. Same code, same issue. This time i took it to Garber to inspect. Garber informed me the issue was not fixed, and the GM bulletin that Midland Ford's service department used was incorrect/outdate, and the replacement parts they used were incorrectly routed/improperly installed.
My extended service plan covers other dealerships performing service but requires authorization from Ford first. Conveniently Ford's computers were "down" for three days and Garber was unable to get authorization to fix the issue (I understand this is not the fault of Midland Ford specifically, but as a direct result of their shady sales tactics and incompetent service department, I found myself in this situation). Once's Ford's computers were magically back up and running they said they would first need to send an adjuster to verify the issue because it seemed suspect that a vehicle bought only a few days ago would already need service. Apparently they are not aware that Midland Ford is dumb enough to not only attempt to sneakily sell a vehicle that needs service, but also sell a warranty that would then have to pay for it. Suffice to say I've had the vehicle less than two weeks and will be making my money back on the cost of the warranty, so that's a plus, I suppose...

In 4 years i've purchased 2 vehicles and spent roughly $35K with Midland Ford. That trend will no longer continue.

Had flat tire. Car towed to Midland Ford. Would not allow just the one tire replacement, I had to purchase all 4 tires. No service tech spoke to me about any other issues or tires regarding my vehicle. Finished work, same nigh hit a deer. Car was in body shop 10 days. After picking it up, drove approximately 5 miles, heard thumping sound and car started shaking, turned around to head back, shaking got worse went to pull over, left front tire fell off, studs intact, no lug nuts seen. Towed back to shop. Shop states they had no tires off car during repairs, Midland Ford isn't accepting any responsibility. We know they had all the tires off.

The experience at this dealer was top notch! I communicated with Tiffany from internet sales and she was awesome. She gave me the information on the vehicle that I requested prior to my drive up to Midland. I like that they let you take your time and test drive the vehicle and look it over. There were no high pressure sales involved. We decided to purchase and they took the car to be detailed before we drove it home to Flushing, MI. It was a wonderful dealer experience. The wait took a little longer than expected but they were quite busy that Saturday,so we took advantage of the popcorn in the lobby. Tiffany kept checking on us an making sure we knew our status while we waited. Everyone was nice! I would definitely recommend this dealer. Fantastic Job!!!

My husband and I had been test driving cars from different car makers when we stopped into Midland Ford Lincoln. We had a short list of "must haves". It was our good fortune that we met Chris, our friendly salesman. He found us exactly what we wanted in a beautiful new Lincoln MKZ. We appreciated his efforts in getting us our best deal and he has continued to work with us as we're learning about our new car and all it's settings.
Their new salesroom and service center was well thought out with the customer in mind. It felt very welcoming.
They turned out to be very "dog friendly" too, showing great hospitality to Arthur on a hot day!

Worked with Derrick to trade in and lease a new car, he was great! This was my first time car experience and he made everything smooth and easy. The gentleman from finance was also great and explained everything very thoroughly. You can tell the employees really care about the person not just the sale. Wonderful experience and would recommend Midland Ford to anyone!

One star because I can't go lower. I have bought or went with others to help buy cars at least a dozen times and I have never dealt with more unprofessional people in my life. Constantly pushing to buy the car. Not listening to what we were saying, then saying we never said that.

We called to say we we're looking for a truck or SUV that can haul at least 8000 lbs. Then set an appointment. And first off there is nowhere to park! You want people buying a new car but you don't have a place for your customers to park at to look at a new car! Then when we go there he brought up 1 truck and we liked it but didn't want to buy the first car we looked at so we asked to see some more. They did not show us anything just looked at their computer and said "We don't have anything like this. We are giving you such a deal. We can send you over to look at financing." Then we got sent to financing. Never looked at another car and when we asked questions he would just beat around the bush for a minute and not answer the question. When I asked about accidents he said I'll get the Carfax for you later. I never saw the Carfax and why would I want to go to financing before seeing it? We had to leave and come back so we did the next day. That day we made an appointment and he showed up 15 minutes late. Didn't apologize. Then sent us over to financing. We said we still had questions. He said we could talk about it with the finance manager. So we went over and waited to talk to him. We went in and he was like okay here are the papers for you to sign. We were like okay? What did the bank send back? Well we only heard from one place. How much is our payment? Its more than we planned by about $75 a month. Well weren't planning on buying today anyways. We wanted to talk more and we were just brought here. We never got to see a second car. Never got our questions answered. And the financer literally laughed at us and said you won't get a better deal on this car. We worked hard to get you this deal. We won't get you another deal if you come back later. Then told us to go back to the dealer. And he was mad and this is basically what he said "You never said you had questions or wanted to see something else. Where did we miscommunicate? You are missing out on a good deal. We worked hard to work this deal out for you. Whatever your loss good luck. This car will be gone by the time you change your mind."

Seriously so unprofessional! Learn to listen and get some manners! Also i'om sorry you worked on a deal for us, I mean it's only YOUR JOB! I will not come back and no I will not call to talk about your bad service because I doubt it will be better. I DO NOT recommend this dealership. I DO HIGHLY recommend Feeny they have always been amazing and professional and never pushed.

Another good experience. Midland Ford does a great job taking care of their customers. From sales to excellent service dept. In my most recent exp repair took a little longer than expected and had to be on the road to get my daughter to basketball. No problem they put me in one of their very clean rentals and sent me on my way. Repair was done correctly and picked up my truck the next day. No extra charges just excellent service. I ve referred my sister to Mark for her new Edge lease and she was much happier driving from Clarkston for the experience and professionalism than she experienced closer to home. Can t say enough good things about the entire Midland Ford family.

a. They could fit me in at 1pm
b. $115.for tech to check to see what it may be.
c. Call came and over phone. Est to repair $925.00
(after small heart tremor)
d. Why--need a valve...need new plugs...new boots...new wires..complete fuel system cleaning.
e. WHICH ONE OF THESE -IF NOT ALL ARE REALLY NEEDED...
Save $210.00 and drop the fuel sys clean

FOUND OUT VALVE WAS IT...26 DOLLARS AMAZON..64 AT FORD
PLUGS AND BOOTS AND WIRES ..NOT REALLY ( BUT BECAUSE FORD BOOK STATES TO REPLACE AFTER 85000 MILES...)
So in all reality- part 26-no plugs, boots, wires and fuel clean...we approximate. 115+30=145-160 tops to get my Ford Edge 2015 out
..oh darn forgot the 53 for Quick Lane...$215 approx.billing..
Not 700 that I PAID----hard lesson (but I am old enough and wise enough to have taken it to a mechanic (not Dealer).
Checking this out later is why I am sending this memo to all--When in a bind..Holiday time....take a moment and really ask and look for other qualified personnel Not only this Dealer but other Dealers as well...

11/05/2020 - Went for an unscheduled Quick Change...

11/05/2020 - Went for an unscheduled Quick Change oil change (The Works) for my 2016 F250 SD. Staff was pleasant, service time was about 50 minutes including a complimentary truck wash, and price was reasonable. I would rate it 5 stars. HOWEVER, when I arrived home I parked the truck in my driveway and subsequently moved it closer to the garage to vacumn the interior. And what did I find? A 9 inch circle of fresh oil on my driveway. Now I have to drive back to Ford and have them check to make sure the service was performed correctly. Turns out the tech left a bunch of unwiped oil on the filter and oil pan which ended up dripping on my driveway. Left Ford with an apology and a can of "free" brake cleaner to remove the oil stain. I know stuff happens but a little more attention to detail would be appreciated.

10/24/18: Update to review below. Third time was a charm! "Check Brake System" error message no longer is displayed. Apparently with integrated systems, these issues are more difficult to diagnose and repair. Will give Midland Ford credit for being persistent and ultimately resolving the issue. Changed rating from 2 to 4 stars.

Easy to make an appointment, friendly staff, and nice clean facility. But repair results are NOT satisfactory. Purchased the F-250 on 7/16/16 primarily to tow a 7 ton fifth wheel which it does tremendously well. No issues until 3/21/18 and 18,525 miles when the "Advance Track" error message appeared. That was repaired. On 7/02/18 at 19,458 miles, the "Check Brake System" error message was displayed. When back to the dealer for repair. On 9/06/18 at 21,561 miles, same "Check Brake System" error message was displayed. Back to the dealer for repair for the second time. On 10/1/18 at approx. 22,000 miles, same "Check Brake System" error message was displayed. Currently back at the dealer for repair for the third time.

I would have given you more stars, but I had to wait 2.5 hours to get an oil change. Its time for you to start taking appointments like other ford dealerships instead of first come first serve. Otherwise I am happy with the oil change service. I will be looking to go somewhere else from now on.

The car I went to see was listed online as a manual transmission. I had called before I made the hour plus trip to see this car. Had verbal confirmation that the 5 speed car was still available. I get there and found it was an automatic. This was most likely an honest mishap. The car was priced alright, not great but acceptable. The major problem was when they appraised my 2010 F-150 and offered me $1000 trade in. I knew my truck was worth way more then that. I made a strick counter offer and we could not agree so I ended up leaving. Buyers please be careful shopping here if you have a trade in involved in the deal your being to make

They called me 20 minutes after I dropped it off and quoted almost $2000 for minor repairs. I had my brakes and tires checked out before I left Colorado and they said the car had about 5000 more miles before the break pads on the front would need replacing. I have only gone a little over 2500 miles since then and now every drum/rotor and break pad needs to be replaced for about $950. Also, the hose going to the windshield wiper needs to be reconnected with a little plastic elbow. They quoted me $78 to replace that. Lastly, my thermostat housing (not my thermostat) needs to be replaced? They did not say why. Is it leaking? $511. I will never bring my vehicle there again. I will purchase a Ford in the future. I always have, but not from Midland Ford.

I drove an hour and a half because I found a 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid on their website and I was interested in test driving one (they are difficult to find). From the very first call Trevor was very helpful and offered to stay later to meet me there when I arrived. He made sure to text me the new address so I could find their new location. I arrived very close to closing time so the sale did feel slightly rushed but I was already in love with the car so there was no pushing. They made getting the car home extremely easy given that I had driven so far.

I fell in love with the C-Max as soon as I drove it. The entire staff was very helpful when it came to the warranty and the financing. Charles in the finance department was extremely nice and helpful. Both Trevor and Charles were easy to contact after the sale with any questions I had. I was in constant contact with Trevor through text as I wrapped up a few details.

Overall, driving an hour and a half to find and ultimately purchase this car was well worth it. It was a great deal instrumented by a great staff.

I had heard great things about the staff at Midland Ford. So when I unexpectedly needed a new vehicle back in February, I decided to give them a try. The feedback I heard was validated!! My wife and I enjoyed their services so much that when she recently decided to get an Escape, Midland Ford was the first place she wanted to go! That's 2 new vehicles in a little over 2 months. Mark Lawson is our guy and he is truly a pro. He has made our experiences so much fun, stress-free, and VERY informative! What I appreciate most about Mark and Midland Ford is that they are straight forward with you.
They don't cut corners or play tricks to just get a sale. Mark and his team will exhaust every avenue to get their customers what they want at a price they're comfortable with.

We ordered a hybrid Fusion with an expected 6 week delivery. This turned into at least 13 weeks due to parts shortages, so Jan searched to find one close to our order. Finding one 400 miles away, they went and got it on a flatbed for no charge. Jan and Wes made sure we closed the deal before the end of the month to make sure that $2250 in rebates/coupons didn't expire. The car is awesome! Much better that our 2012 Prius overall (comfort, quietness, acceleration, and features) and has averaged 40.2 mpg out of the box in late winter. Midland Ford has been upfront, honest and customer focused throughout. Thank you! Too bad the corporation doesn't give dealers better info on build scheduling. We wouldn't have wasted 6 weeks waiting if we knew of the ridiculous order time. As long as our Ford holds up as good as our Toyotas, and their products are competitive, we will come back.

Well bought a 13 fusion 2.0t in 2017 Feb. 75k mileage 85k brought in and had transmission looked at TCM fixed, 95k brought in again for hesitant shifting, every clutch replaced inside the trans. 148k transmission shot. Mind you I paid for the extended everything I could to keep this vehicle nice and maintained it well. 15k vehicle 2 years ago, 1k trade in offer. Gave an extra star for the loaner they set me up with for 2 days, much appreciated that. Getting my credit hard checked 8 times to ensure I will have more trouble financing other places was not appreciated though.

All I can say is this is why I don t buy from midland Ford! As I went in to test drive the Ford bronco sport and waited for someone to assist me which finally they did. Asked to drive it, well another 15 min to locate the keys. Went inside to sign papers because apparently Ford requires you sign papers to drive this vehicle and only 1 person can assist you with that. Naturally that person wasn t there, so the salesman asked his manager and of course nope can t do that. Well needless to say I left! I m very disappointed in midland Ford!! Never again. I was just out driving and decided to drive through the new location and look at the inventory. My nephew and I always liked doing that in spring. A salesman approached the car and asked if I was interested in a new car. I said not really I was just looking around. This was at 9am and at 4pm I left with a new 2015 Escape. Great riding car and very easy for we older people to get in and out of. Nick my salesman worked very hard getting me the two things I said I would need to purchase a new car and he after many trips to office and back was able to meet those. In less than a month I have put 2,000 miles on the car. Service department is much nicer than in the old building and staff seems very friendly.

Also I had to keep calling to find out what the problem was because no one would call me and let me know what was happening. After the kept telling me they would.

The time to get the truck in and serviced was good (~30min).

It was as I was checking out that I see a sign about a service deal for lower than what I was being charged. The lower price was for "The Works' that included oil/filter & tire rotation. I did not have time to wait for the truck to get 're-serviced' so I paid the higher price and left.

I feel that I should have been made aware of the 'Works" deal when I first came in.

Although a few people here are friendly, the service time is a bit long. A simple oil change may take approximately one and a half hours after your vehicle gets in the bay. I have waited longer than 2 hours several times for an oil change.
