Middlesouth Alpine Hotel Review

This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful place hidden in the mountains of Nathiagali.
The food was good with cozy rooms.
All green and natural.

Stayed here for two days in their Deluxe Rooms. Nice location, although its a bit scary for the first time to get up here. However, one or two rides up and down the hill, you get used to it. Staff are very courteous, helpful and active. Rooms give a very homely feeling. They are clean, comfy and linen are very clean. They have heaters in the room along with heating radiators, which they switch on in the evening. You get your own WIFI and get a good speed.



Few things I would say is that, its time for the property to have some maintenance here and there, as we saw erosions at some places. Also, for the rent they are charging, I would recommend to include some items for breakfast in the rent, just to get you started for the day. P.S, I don't know why people compare such places and properties to PC hotel standards.

Best place to stay in Nathiagali by a mile! Amazing views and one of the top 3 restaurants in the area - Miranjani Grill. Views from Miranjani are exquisite, with very tasteful interiors. I'll be back soon and try out the family cottages next time.

Very nice view but the food quality was below average.

It was bad experience with hotel management, they charged us executive room but they gave us delux room,so many insect and mosquitoes roaming around but even they dnt hv Mortin.only hotel location and view is good .employee had also nonprofessional attitude .

Located at very beautiful location having a Tree house restaurant & Hotel to relax in. This is the paces to stay and live and capture your memories with most beautiful scenic pictures.
PS: This place is only for families and i was not being allowed because the definition of family here in pakistan is taken as a women along with you. though i was with my 3 years old son and they were not considering me as a family.
My Son loved engaging with Rabbits and Turkey they have also the snow in the surrounding.

Nestled in Nathia Gali, Ayubia National Park, this simple hotel offers comfortable rooms, each with its patio and breathtakingly beautiful views. The dining room is rustic in decor with large windows that provide a panoramic view of the mountainside. Chef Wahid cooks up the most scrumptious local dishes served with soft chapatis. His bonelesd chicken handi and fried kebabs are simply finger-licking good. Manager Mazher maintains an efficient and courtious staff that keeps the place clean, comfortable and cost.

Rooms are overpriced and not as clean as PC bhurban. Waiters are okay trained but not so greatly trained.

Loved the place. They are doing their best at the place and have good clean rooms with good view. One of the best places near nathia Gali and is recommended if price and affordability is not an issue.

Best place to stay but be careful dusting snowing as level of snow becomes 4 feet in snowfall.

I had the best time ever staying at hotel it was such a pleasant experience for me especially The staff was so caring and sweet. The rooms were clean and the view was great I wouldn t go anywhere else

Faraway form the market but great views from atop the mountain. Serene.

They have rooms and also apartments. The apartments are great. The rooms need a little bit of fumigation and pest control.

You will find all kinds of insects trying to get inside your room! The apartments are better.

Their restaurant is just amazing with fabulous views.

For kids,they have swings, sea saw and also a badminton net.

Stayed a few nights and really liked it. Other than the scenic location, i was impressed with the property and staff. I found the hygiene and overall service good. Staff appeared helpful. For a rather remote location, my expectations werent very high and i wasnt disappointed but impressed from how owners and staff try to run it well.

Restaurant was well run, food i tried was tasty and fresh. Service was very good.

Extra mattresses, daily housekeeping etc can be improved. Despite the sub-zero temperatures and snow, staff tried well to run things. My appreciation for all those who interacted with us with a smile. I will gladly recommend the place and hope for further improvements.

Best place in Nathia gali. Beautiful rooms, great location. Impressive restaurant. Staff was fine. Services were good. Perfect place to relax with your family.

Super expensive food, expensive room rent, no accommodation for driver. One of their managers tried to rip off my driver by charging 1500 ruppees. They do not offer any place for your driver to stay. A bit far from the main market but that's what we preferred. Super quiet place. Their restaurant is called Miranjani grill but it never had any BBQ for the duration we stayed. Come here and relax. To save costs, get food from the main market. One of the things I did not like was, they charge your 15% service charges if you want to have food in your room. Despite paying 10,000/night this was really disappointing. But overall, a great place to stay in Nathiagali.

OMG....what an unprofessional people are they. The guy who received us at reception was overwhelmingly unwelcoming with annoying attitude. On top of it, he was not even willing to let us see the room. No doubt, the place is serene but prices are very much expensive too. This hotel is not worth your money.Of course, that was last time to have seen this hotel, I will never ever recommend or suggest this place to any of my friends and family.

An extremely nice place to stay in, make sure to make the bookings beforehand during the peak season, the rooms are clean and very designed with balcony, the outside sitting area is also very beautiful

OVERALL: Underwhelmed and disappointed!
My stay at Alpine was for 4 nights and I had high expectations owing to the great reviews and the price to match the said service. Staff that greeted us were polite and hospitable and would generally look after our needs quite well. The restaurant food was mediocre and expensive. Nothing extraordinary but by the Galiyat standards clean and fresh. The restaurant staff however were aloof and gave the impression they d rather be anywhere else than serving us.

Now on to my main complaint: the rooms!! The rate at which I was paying I expected nothing less of 5 star standard of cleanliness and amenities. But sadly none were up to par. I ve seen government rest houses cleaner and better maintained. First night I stayed in the standard room as executive was not available yet. We asked for extra beds as we were a party of 5 and there was only one double bed in the tiny room. Bedding provided to us was disgusting. The blankets smelled like old shoes and the sheets had blood stains! The bathroom was tiny and plumbing wasn t great either. I couldn t mix hot and cold water. So all my showers had me either burnt by scalding water or shivering in ice cold water the very next moment. The chairs in the rooms had filthy seat covers and don t get me started on the rugs and the floor. Seldom have I seen such grimy and dirty floors. Although we were moved to the executive room the very next day and the rooms were much bigger, the standard of cleanliness and plumbing in the bathroom was pretty much the same. But we had a welcome present in the shape of a dead grasshopper underneath our bed covers. Although how it ended up there is beyond comprehension. The sheets were supposed to have been changed as someone had checked out the day we moved in. The mattress of the spare cot provided smelled of mildew!

All in all for the premium room rate that I paid for and for over priced but passable meals, I expected far better standard of hospitality, cleanliness and service. I will definitely look for alternate accommodation for future visits.

I looked up this place on internet and than went there. The place does look exactly like the pictures on website , it's located on a very nice hill top and has single rooms, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartments.

But I was shocked when I found out the rates. Single bedroom is around 16000 PKR a night, 2 bed room services apartment is 25000 + PKR and three bedroom is 35000 + PKR. The serviced apartments were neat and clean and spacious with panoramic views but the kitchen was a big disappointment. You are not allowed to cook any thing they just have a small refrigerator and a microwave. Which means you are dependant on the hotel restaurant for food.

The Only restaurant at hotel serves substandard food, which is poorly cooked and drenched in oil.

I am not sure who comes and stays here and pays that kind of money.

Great place whether you're coming with family or friends - blends beautifully with the environment. Customer Service is outstanding!

Nice and very peaceful place to spend a night or two. These resorts are located at a top of mountain hills surrounded by thousands of alpine trees making it a perfect place to spend vacations with the loved ones. On the other hand facilities are also up to the mark and food is just delicious.

The rooms are decent and the view is exquisite. The villas are the bestt, very well built with a classic antique touch to it but to book that you must have 3-4 families.

Quite a beautiful location, but the food is over priced and average. And worst is the staff, rude with no sense of hospitality. Not even a smile on their face. Would only recommend for the beautiful scenery around here.
