My favourite hotel in Geraldton. 3rd floor with views across the harbour. It is in the middle of town. Restaurants nearby . Has its own bar and $10 breakfast. Rooms are well appointed. Nice place to stay.

Absolutely amazing place to stay a night or even a week! Staff are extremely polite and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend paying the extra dollar for a luxe ocean view to get the most of the beautiful sunsets Geraldton has to offer. Fantastic breakfast menu and with the best coffee in town just around the corner it's the perfect spot for a getaway

Great location in centre of town across the road from city beach and park. Stayed in suite with long balcony only room left as I did not book on a Tuesday night No restaurant for night meals but in room dining available from restaurant around corner. Great view from room. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Free secure parking.

I spent a night here in Feb 2010. The basic room rate was $130. For this we got a dirty, smelly room on the ground floor that backed onto the rubbish bins and was right next to a night club. At about $80 it would have felt like a nasty cheap room in a crappy hotel, but at $130 it felt like being ripped off. The outside of the hotel and the location look nice, but everything I saw inside was awful. There are much better hotels than this one.

Jodina and her team could not have been more helpful, empathetic, and gone out of their way to make it the most comfortable stay. I had issues with noise from next door and was immediately moved to a quieter room with a minimum of fuss. They really care about you and your comfort, way above just doing their job. I have found this type of customer service to be very rare at hotels I have stayed at, including alleged 5 star hotels. Thank you, I can't wait to come back!

This is a nice hotel but the walls are so thin I was woken up in the middle of the night by the rabbit couple in the next room - good for the lady I guess (she seemed to be enjoying herself) - my recommendation is bring earplugs.

Nice comfortable stay, the restaurant / bar has exceptional service with very friendly and attentive staff. My only disappointment is the lack of parking in the secured lot and very tiny spaces which makes it hard to park when people lack the ability to park straight and in one space.

The location is perfect. All the good restaurants, hip cafes, shops and the beach within a 5 minute walk.
The room was decorated simply with lots of natural light. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Mattress was soft but not too soft that it hurt my back.
One star lost to poor sound isolation. Walls are a bit thin. I had the room at the start of the corridor, so everytime another guest along the corridor came back (in the middle of the night or early morning), I would get woken by their conversation, the foot steps, the corridor door slamming, their door slamming, etc. If you're booking here and you're a light sleeper, ensure that you get the room at the end of the corridor.
Service staff were friendly and professional. Service was always quick.
Another star lost due to the breakfast cafe. Compared to the numerous awesome cafes around with more interesting menus, don't bother having breakfast here. Breakfast was not bad, but just not comparable to what's available within a 2 minute walk. The classic benedict I had was well cooked with simple but fresh ingredients. Portion size was just right. Nothing fancy.

This company ripped my mum and partner off saying that they took stuff from the mini bar when they didn't !! They overcharged them $328 roughly and then refused to give it back or admit their wrong.

Our roomed had a cigarette smell which lingered for the 3 day's we stayed. Also the elevator was broken the whole time. We left for the day to come back to our room to find the cleaner had removed the power card. As a result the aircon didn't work and the car fridge which we had plugged in was off all day. The TV in our room didn't work to well. All in all this wouldn't be a place we book again.

Lovely hotel across from the ocean. Opened our sliding door and the sea breeze gently wafted in. Super quiet, slept heavily, lovely ocean facing rooms with comfy beds and great shower. Breakfast was yum. Will stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The couple we traveled with also did. We had Deluxe rooms on the top floor (4th) next to each other.
Rooms were simple, clean and felt modern. Can't say enough about the king bed. My wife and I agreed it's one of the most comfortable we've slept in.
The view was of the bay and ocean. Couldn't find a better view than that. Awesome in the morning with a coffee on the balcony.
Our friends came to our room on evening to attempt a card game and the layout of the room proved difficult but we did manage. The rooms we were in do their job but aren't designed to entertain.
The bathroom was a good size and the shower was good also.
TV was about a 100 cm and worked well with 2 movie channels and to watch it you pretty much had to lie in the bed.
The only con was the fridge. A very small bar fridge which would accommodate milk and two or three drinks and some cheese. I had to rely on my esky which I had to resurrect with ice every day for the three we were there. That's the only reason for not giving a 5 star rating. Fourth floor remember.
We received two complimentary vouches for beers on arrival for beers to use in the hotel bar which was nice and a discount voucher which cost $10 for the breakfast they have in the bar area. Bacon, eggs, toast and such like but had to pay extra for sausages. We all enjoyed the breakfast and even more because of the views or the bay and ocean through the windows that span the whole side of the hotel. Couldn't ask for better.
Staff were great. Friendly and very accommodating.
We'll be back.

Check-in was quick and easy. Hotel was fresh and clean.
Some things I thought could improve;
CFL lighting throughout is dim and not pleasant on the eye. Flickering lights in the common area draw attention to this.
I though breakfast menu was overpriced; e.g. $6.5 for a glass of juice, $3.5 for a coffee, which you make yourself.
Staff were friendly but indiscreet; Conversations about customer orders could be heard clearly throughout the eating area.

Very clean, modern, great location. However, some rooms have windows facing the car park, which gives a feeling of living in a basement. Dinner comes from the nearby restaurant in boxes - although tastes nice.

I absolutely love having a nice relaxing beer in the bar overlooking the water, Jodina and the bar staff are always so willing to serve you with a smile, have a friendly chat or bring you snacks. Thoroughly recommend the hotel, they go above and beyond to keep you happy!!

Ocean Centre Hotel is a fantastic place to stay whilst visiting the area this building is also home to the restaurant Skeetas which is extremely fancy and nice the only downside to Skeetas is that it only has seafood and for someone who dislikes seafood I find it hard to find a meal but it's worth it even if it's a tad expensive

We decided to stay the final night of our camper road trip at this hotel as a bit of a treat, the weather was terrible outside. The lady that checked us in was lovely and knowledgeable . We stayed on the 4th floor which absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke the minute you stepped out of the lift. It was very obvious people were smoking either in their rooms or on balconies with their doors open. The hotel amenities are average, they do not reflect the price with the bathroom particularly run down and the television small . The noise that came through the walls was constant and all night. In the morning upon checkout when mentioned these things to the manager at the desk who was very quick to tell us it was our responsibility to report these issues at the time they were happening; probably some truth to that, however I would assume night management would do floor checks. The couple behind us checking out had video recordings of the noises to show the manager as their response was exactly the same. I am so gutted we spent $179 for a night of noise, smell and run down facilities and even more gutted at the poor customer service

Nice short stay hotel. We had an ocean facing room on the 4th floor. The balcony was great to sit and watch the ships and sunsets.
The room was very spacious with an modern bathroom. The walk in wardrobe is the largest I have had at a hotel before.
Parking was tight in the hotel car park and if you don't get your car in there early you will miss out. There is public parking outside hotel but again very busy.
Very nice foreshore walks and lots of restaurant options. Room service was ok but I recommend going to a local option as the food is delivered to the hotel from another location.
We were there for the weekend so there was quite a bit of noise from outside the hotel on the street.
Overall a great place to rest your head if you are looking for affordable accommodation.
