Great hotel however found the rooms to be old and in need of an upgrade. Excellent buffet breakfast and perfectly located in the heart of Sandton.

The best/most luxurious hotel in the country, I believe. an indoor pool and fitness center with sauna and steam room. Though one can go for a run outdoors. 24-hour lounge offering light meals, tapas and snacks. In one of the restaurant they offer classic Italian dishes accompanied by local and international wines. They do keep local beer as well.

The Michael Angelo restaurant is a five star hotel.

It is one of the best in the country.

The doorman is always formally dressed, with a top hat and white gloves.

You can expect to be attended to immediately.

It is important to ask to be directed to your intended venue and guests.

The dresscode should always be formal and this is an admittance only hotel.

I like everything about this hotel, the staffs are very friendly and always at your service.

This is the worst hotel because the management are unhelpful, unprofessional and rude. To this day, I have yet to receive an apology for their poor service!

Best hotel I have stayed at in South Africa. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is amazing. Really enjoyed the options I had around me being located on Mandela Square. Plenty shopping and restaurants available!

I'm traveling around the world almost every week for business and tourism
This is one of my favorite hotels in the world

The antique design, the service, the food, swim pool and the spa. They are all nice and unique.

And what i like the most, is the staff and the way they handle the guest. Welcoming and caring in friendly way.

There ia one thing i wish they may fix it int the future; there is no iron inside the room and i have to request it. I hope it stay there as part of the accommodation.

Opulent luxury & ambience. Set in the hub of Sandton, convenience of banks, shops & restaurants are within the vicinity. Guests can enjoy 5 star service with facilities i.e spa, restaurant, chauffeur etc. Privacy & security is also available for VIP guests.

Definitely not a 5-star hotel. Shower not working correctly, paper-thin drywall between rooms so that we could hear neighbours talk, carpeting old and dirty, extremely loud aircon, tiny gym and dirty pool. Only reason for one star is the friendly and smiling staff.

Had dinner at the restaurant and service was horrible

Amazing place to be, great service all around from the bar, restaurant to management. Great wine and food pairings. Must try cocktails!!

Fantastic stay ( rooms are little old), friendliest staff, chaufer parking, awesome pool, sauna and steam bath. Neat setup. Perfect location in Sandton. Right next to Sandton City.
Wonderful breakfast offering and restaurant. Well done!!

Was told by the waiter he has a table for 4 which includes my 1 year 5 month little boy,flight was from Cape town took a gautrain arrived at the restaurant.i did inform the waiter that the little one loves experimenting and walking around he did not mind my wife was booking the room and the baby cried just once next thing 3 managers asked me to remove my child which upset my wife cancelled everything jumped back on a gautrain and booked at intercontinental or thambo best service ever.never recommended you visit Michael angelo restaurant if you have little ones

5 stars for the sentral location. Aoart from that tjis would be a 3-4 star hotel.Breakfast was really big and offered pretty much everything from Indian to European breakfast.rooms were big and clean but nothing special about it.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel and rooms are stunning. The service from staff is excellent and everyone was so friendly. It was my birthday and they made it extra special with treats and wine in the room. The linen on the bed felt amazing!

Loved the hotel and the country. The check in and check out were flawless and the reception was helpful. The room was spacious with a coffee maker as well as the room service was very decent. The bathroom is majestic. The mall is connected directly to the mall which makes it safe and convenient. Many luxurious restaurants around with delicious food. It was a great experience overall. Would go again!

My wife has had a shockingly bad experience just trying to book at the hotel. I expect better service from a place of this reputation.
