Rooms are just too expensive. Have two or three tiers of pricing. Very disappointed :(

Over the top, glitz and glamour. The room was comfortable enough and the breakfast was good. I had a bit of a mix up at check in that soured my service experience but on the whole it was a good stay. The doorman and transport guys were fab.

The Beast Houghton in Johannesburg it is very luxury hotel very safe and in the best location it is located in Mandela Square and open on the square it is very clean very luxury and they have lots of different options as far as living eating or drinking it is highly recommend for all kind of visit finally it is the safest hotel in Johannesburg

Had the pleasure of celebrating my partners birthday here recently . From the most pleasant and friendly staff to excusite service from the car vallet staff to the porters and the reception staff . The waiters and the gentleman who helps direct you at the elevator made for easy and simple dining and an overall wonderful experience.

They arranged a special birthday turndown for us , which was nothing short of perfect . So pleased and extremely impressed . Sure to return ...soon.

And the spa is a must. With a heated indoor pool and hot tub on the deck , it's pure indulgance from the minute you enter .

Our stay was most delightful. The focus is on a personalised experience. It is clear that the staff enjoy working at the Michelangelo and it shows in their interaction with the guests. We will surely return. The only mishap was a bath plug that did not seal properly.

The stuff is outstanding they always accommodate beyond expectations.

Wonderful evening out with my wife for our anniversary. The entire team made it a memorable night, from the excellent food with dry ice to end it all off to the very attentive service team. Creme brule was excellent. Citrus chocolate fondant was a little overdone however.

I ask for changing the roon reservation, no one hear me here

Wow what an experience. If you ever want to treat yourself and a loved one this is a must. The food in the restaurant is also amazing and some of the best i have had.

The Lounge is a wonderful space to spend time-whether you are meeting, relaxing or having a drink. The light meals are very good and service is helpful and friendly. And the cake is decadent!

Hotel is clean. A/C needs improvement. Their electric outlet is different than USA, UK, and Europe. Internet usage is very limited.
Gym doesn t have a cross-trainer.

Charming hotel that is an institution in Sandton. Excellent and delicious afternoon teas and meals. Conveniently located on the Nelson Mandela Square with easy access to Sandton City mall.

It's a very beautiful and luxurious place at an affordable rate.

It's a five star place so expectations were high. Everything was great with two minor exceptions; the two single beds were in a room where the queen sized headboard and the night stands are mounted to the wall, so one of the beds had to stick out into the room in front of the night stand, and our order at Sunday brunch took an excessive amount of time.

The security guards do not allow you to take an Uber/Taxify from the hotel!!! You have to walk out onto the road ! Such bs !

Good service i had a business meeting and the environment was suitable

Quality hotel, overall I was happy; however they left us waiting for three hours at reception while they tried to get our room cleaned. Even that wouldn't have mattered if they hadn't told us it would be ready over an hour before it was.

Nice hotel. It reminds a European culture that you fall love with.

Located just a stone throw away from both Sandton City Mall and the Nelson Mandela square.

Had a good time, just service needs to improve, the buffet is a bit messy and doesn't really change.

The hotel is very nice and safe for the degree of Saudi Airlines employees staying in, in addition to the kindness of their employees and some of them Arabs we met two from Egypt
