Tip: get there when Park opens because the shows are timed one right after another. We didn t know this and got there at 11:00 and by that time missed a few shows. We only got to do the feeding of sea lions-$5 and whale and dolphin show. The show with the whale was great! So we weren t too disappointed about missing the dolphin show or the flipper show. There was not another show until 3:10 and we didn t want to wait in the heat for 1 1/2 hours in heat.
It s $37 per person and we only saw 1 show. Wish they did space out the shows a little so the crowd in each show was lessened. The tanks are small for the animals. It appears the 3 dolphins and the killer whales are in 1 tank together.
The shows are not listed at the sites. They give u a small list on a sheet when u purchase tickets but I over looked it initially.
I d prefer the lion country safari. It was our best experience and well worth the money which was less than the Seaquarium.

Ok place to visit. Unfortunately, when we were there it was after the hurricanes and the sharks and alligators were gone. The sea lion and whale show were good. Not sure it was worth the money to get in.

If you have been to Sea World, you will be VERY disappointed in this attraction. Live shows last about 15 minutes; minimal shade areas; many indoor aquarium attractions were not labelled. Thankfully for my brilliant teenage sons, they recalled many of the attractions from their Life Sciences courses and made a game of it. But, if you were hoping to enjoy and learn new things about marine life, it most likely will not happen here.
We purchased a multi-attraction ticket and fortunately immensely enjoyed the Lion Country Safari attraction in West Palm Beach.

Overpriced. The interior didn t even look good and there were soap bubbles floating into some of the exhibits containing live animals inside. The turtles were extremely unhappy and hid in the corner. They were neglected the whole time. Also the food was terrible. They make it beforehand and microave it when we order it. There are expiration dates on the packages which show how old the food is. The tables and chairs were all greasy and there was no one cleaning up.

The dolphin and sea lion shows were good, but really not much to look at otherwise. The reef aquarium was not clear, but pretty cloudy water. The parking fee is too high. I figured we would be there all day, but we were ready to go after 3 hours. Disappointing for how much we paid for it.

I purchased my tickets through Groupon season pass when leaving I was told they ran out of adult passes and they will contact me when available, frustrating

Highly disappointed. Not the Seaquarium I grew up going to and my children also. I decided to take my grandson for the first time and was deeply saddened to see how run down it is, that the reef aquarium is basically empty. What happened to it? 158.00 to park and get in, not including gas to drive there from Naples. Next time I'll pay the extra to go to SeaWorld.

I wish I could give this deplorable place a negative number of stars. Palace Entertainment, which is the POS "owner" of this disgusting "seaquarium", has refused numerous requests by animal activists, marine biologists, etc. to relocate and provide sanctuary for Lolita, the killer whale, who is kept in a swimming pool with a depth of the length of her body and who, by the way, has been placed on the endangered species list under the Endangered Species Act!! For all of you naive, f'ing morons out there who have provided glowing reviews of "gee, I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews" and "the killer whale and dolphin shows are great!", do some actual research into the social interactions of killer whale and dolphin pods; how these poor animals are "rounded up"; etc. prior to handing over your money!

Don't waste your money here. They are under construction and nasty. Everything is dirty and they don't even clean the tanks. But yes they charge $10 for parking and $45 for the ticket. But nothing to see.

Hands down the worst experience I ve ever had in my 29 years in South Florida. The entire place is a dump. Brought my daughter here for her 1st birthday yesterday instead of SeaWorld (biggest mistake of my life) just to spend 20 minutes in the entire park since EVERY SINGLE THING IS CLOSED. Every restaurant? Closed. Whale show? Closed. Every vending machine? Broken. The animals were all terribly cared for and looked miserable. I wish I had read the reviews on this place before driving an hour and a half to come here just to waste money on absolutely nothing.

This place is so out of date. The building looks ready to fall and the entrance price is ridiculously high! The shows are okay. I do like that you can bring your own food into the place. I went in Summer 2016 and as soon as you came in, they had inflatable water slides. That seemed to me like a desperate way to get customers to stay. Needs a total revamp and new ideas.

Not the best, but something to do as a family. Only ac is at the cafe. Food prices are outrageous, $10 for a slice of pizza $5 for a 12oz bottle of water, pop/soda $7.

I don't understand the other poor reviews I have read. My 10 year old and I just returned from an entire day at the park. We chose to brave the Sea Trek and it was awesome! Carl was the guide and he was great. We only spent around 2 bills for all the shows and the underwater fun in the huge fish tank. It was full of rays, eels, groupers and thousands of tropical fish. We were actually the show for the feeding of all of them. The fish were so close all let you pet and touch. daughter held a sea turtle underwater. How cool is that?
The park had a huge shark river full of large Tarpon , Jacks , Cobia, and of course Sharks. All the shows were very well put on and everyone was laughing and having fun. The animal trainers are obviously professional and polite. I will return with the rest of my family to swim with the seals . I saw them doing it and looks great. A bit more money but I think its worth it.

Didn't realize it is primarily an outside adventure. We paid $300 for what we thought was a one on one with trainer and dolphins but it was a group. The entire place needs a major remodel. Some of the huge tanks were filthy nasty. Everything is over priced but what isn't around Miami?

I find it so hard to see you keep these beautiful creatures in captivity while they should swim free in the ocean. I know this for you is just making money but making money on harmless animals is unacceptable. Don't let you get fooled by the smile of a dolphin. It's because of their jaw structure that it looks like they are smiling but they aren't. Please please please consider what you are doing and turn things around. DON T VISIT!

I would rate this aquarium zero stars if I could. My sister and I went here accidentally, mistaking it for another park and were disgusted with the quality. The tickets were expensive, which made me wonder why the exhibits were kept in bad condition. Poor animal care, super small enclosures, and more. I would love to get this place shut down- the animals health really concerns me because they do NOT look well taken care of. One of the birds was featherless from picking them all out, which is a sign of severe stress. I thought one of the turtles was dead for a minute (it wasn t thank goodness), one of the seals was completely isolated and wailing in distress, and the list goes on. Please DO NOT buy tickets; you will be disappointed. The tickets seem to cost more than they spend on their maintenance and care.

Ok first of all I do not think this place even deserves a 1 star maybe a half. From outside it looks like an ok aquarium but omg when I got to the entry fee it was way overpriced. Anyone from from 10-up is labeled as an adult and you have to pay about $50 bucks each person. Anyone under has to pay $40. When I went inside, I went to to eat first but the food was just horrid. I ordered a fish and chip, which was like $9 plus tax, and the fish wasn't even fully cooked. I could taste the batter and the fries where unevenly salted and soggy. The chairs in the cafe was greasy and the table wasn't even cleaned. I also saw a FLY on someones FOOD. After eating I went to see the animals and almost cried. The parks interior looked old and not really maintained. The animals looked like they were terribly taken cared of. When we saw the turtles there was bubble getting blowed in there habitats and I don't think that is good for the turtle. I don't think I will be visiting this place anymore but I hope that they can fix their aquarium.

We've done the Dolphin Oddessy 2x now and both times were absolutely amazing the 2nd time they did have to reschedule because the Dolphins were in a little mood so they didn't wanna interact but the staff was very accommodating and reset our date at no charge then I had to reschedule that date due to work and I spoke with the most amazing employee Corenzo who had to reschedule me 3 different times after that and he was the most accommodating employee I've ever spoken with he helped us in more ways then anyone could even imagine and we wanna thank you for providing the most acceptional staff like Corenzo because thats what will keep bringing us back!! Thank you Miami Sea Aquarium...

The food was really expensive. The tanks are really small. I felt bad. The website does not prepare you for your travel back into time that this park represents. I went because their website emphasizes rehabilitation programs but that doesn t seem communicated to the park. Not many recent updates. Employees seem unhappy.

I agree with someone on here. Not sure if they paid some people to write a good review but extremely disappointed. It is extremely expensive not much to see and the "kids water park" is only 3 cannons spraying water. Never coming here again and if you ask me you pay less at Zoo Miami and you'll probably enjoy it better.

I unfortunately have to admit I was fooled by the name "Seaquarium" because I expected something much bigger. The tanks for dolphins and especially the killer whale (orca) were extremely small. In Switzerland the only place where dolphins were hold until a couple years ago was much bigger and had to close. I'm surprised that the Miami Seaquarium is allowed to continue. My wife was here 20y ago and everything is still the same. So no improvements, no larger tanks. For the kids it's something to see though (i didn't want to ruin their mood with the truth). Seeing the killer whale jump and splash water is something incredible (but again one feels sorry for her). Staff seemed professional though and were very friendly. The Seaquarium is totally overpriced and too expensive for what it is. We paid $136 plus $10 parking, just to get in. You get to see much more for much less at Zoo Miami!
To management: Instead of renewing the entrance, you'd rather create much larger tanks for your precious "cast", meaning the orca and your dolphins, as well as all the other animals.

Before was the best entertainment place. My family come out the town to visit so I take them there because they have many great shows during 25 minutes . But my surprise was they charge full price and everything was close, only 2 shows open during 1 10 minutes and the other 5 minutes .only they have 1 outside store open. So the line to buy anything was crazy. I ask what happens they just say the seaquarium close that day . But they shut tell u that before you buy the full price tickets and also the shut tell u is no shows .so I was there only for 1 hour. I'm very upset. Because we but the tickets in cash and they dont want to refund the money.

The new additions of the touch pool and penguins are very promising. The cleaner fish are awesome but they need a little more to touch in the other 2 pools. The shows are getting a little tired and the killer whale show sucks. Super boring. Stingrays are always great. Overall, improved and showing potential.

This was our first time at the Seaquarium and our kids (5 and 8) had a lot go fun. The exhibits and shows were great. They loved feeding the sting rays and the dolphin shows. The manager exhibit and the sea lions were also a favorite. The place was clean and we'll keep but overall the place seemed like ot had seen better days. The cost of admission was a bit steep for what was offered. The food options we're very limited and the pricing for food was beyond outrageous. A small packet of pretzels cost over $4.50. The attendant pointed out the price before we paid for it probably because he realized it was way overpriced and knew we wouldn't be happy if we paid before we found of how much it cost. The dining area could use an overhaul ad well.
I wish there were more restrooms located around the attractions. We fed the sting rays and raw fish and had to wait to wash had for a long time. Yes there was Some hand sanitizing foam there but I did not feet comfortable eating till I found a place to wash hands first.
We did not buy any extras but watched other people who did pay extra to swim with 5he sea lions. The water was freezing and the kids who opted in were clinging to their parents. It did bot seem like it was worth the extra expense. There are lots of photographers taking pictures that you could pay for but we did not opt to do those either. Overall it was a good experience and I would go again when the kids are a bit older of only the prices were a little lower. They offer discounts if you buy ahead online on their website. We did not plan ahead for that. We did get 10% off with our AAA discount which took a little bit off. It came to about $172 for 2 adults and 2 kids for 1 day of not including any extras.
Bottom line: plan ahead and buy tickets and plan to be there by 9am to take advantage of all the shows. Pack snacks and wet wipes and hand sanitizer if you travel with kids.
