Great location. Very French, if you have been to Europe, you know what I mean, that is, relaxed and the meals are not served in a rushed style. Expensive, but to be expected for the area. Would we go back, only when convenient, but worth a visit for the view and atmosphere.

Disappointing this time. One of the guests requested a minor substitution and was told 2 different things - no substitutions or the cost of the entree would have to match that of the entree that included the substitution (a sauce) - 15% more. Meat was overcooked, bread late and not re-stocked. Brought out the wrong dessert. This restaurant has never been awesome - these issues were really frustrating.

We cycled over the Golden Gate Bridge & visited Sausalito. I would recommend La Garage, it is a proper french restaurant right on the marina. While we ate we could take in the beautiful views of the marina & Sausalito. Their food is delicious & reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly & accommodating to dietary requirements.

We've enjoyed this sweet marina side restaurant as guests in the dining room and as guests at the bar and both options are fun. The food is consistently good and the service is very pleasant. The location right on the water can't be beat, and on a nice day with the garage doors open, it's like eating on your favorite patio.

Everything is good. I ordered a Kronenbourg 1664 beer, lemonade, chickpea fries, house fries, mussels, soup du jour, squash blossoms, orange zest panna cotta, apple tart, and espresso. I have not one complaint. Not about food, drink, service, ambience, other patrons. Nothing.

The food here is very very good. I had the 7-hour ham sandwich with rocquefort and pomegranate, and my date had the Bagnat, with fresh albacore tuna, egg and avocado. This was my first time here and the service may have been a little off; my impression was that maybe Sunday morning/noon (read: the morning after a big Saturday night) isn't when restaurant wait staff are at their best...

I used to live in Sausalito, and I loved it (tough not to). This little gem was a regular haunt when I had visitors who wanted something a little off the beaten path. Hands down the best burger available, with fries so good that it makes it difficult to eat one at a time. The location is as good as the service, and getting in can be tough at peak times. Well worth the slightly convoluted drive to find it, and the slightly higher cost - very reasonable for the quality of the food, service and location. Even when I come to The Bay for work and to visit family further North, I'm always lured to come here if I have time. Highly recommended!

Just had the most lovely meal at Le Garage last night! Friendly and attentive staff, and the Sole dish we got was AMAZING. I want to go back and get it again tonight! Plenty of outdoor seating with a lovely view of the marina. It was such a fun evening! I highly recommend it!

Le Garage is a cute place. Close to a boat docking area, it's definitely a pleasant view. Imagine drinking mimosas as you watch the boats go by. Also because you will be by the water, it'll definitely be cooler. There are also inside seating as well as a lounge and bar area. The selection of food is great. It's French but there are some American dishes. Prices are a bit high but the quality and flavors of the food make up for it. The drinks are great too. They are definitely not watered down. Service = A+ The owner greeted us. The staff knew when we needed assistance and weren't slow. Overall they made out experience excellent. Parking: there is a parking lot with free parking so don't fret about valet. Not sure how busy it gets in the evening since we came for lunch.

This is a nice spot to take clients or close friends. The food is always on point and the location is outstanding--a little bit away from the tourist crowds. I recommend the burgers and fries, they're one of the bests in Marin. The staff is friendly and efficient. The prices are not too bad for Sausalito.

Enjoyed a great lunch at Le Garage on the side patio overlooking the water and boats. The food was casual French with a modern California twist. The restaurant is tucked back in a marina/light industrial area, and you have to make sure you don't park in the wrong spot, but the restaurant is a hidden gem.

Went to this place for lunch. Food was bland and service was terrible. The hostess was very rude and rolled her eyes at us when we asked where the restroom was. Ourwaitress never spoke to us after we go our food. Our favorite part was the side dish- roasted potatoes- which came with the salmon eggs Benedict. We had to flag down a different server to take our check.

Food was nice, once it finally came. I went there for brunch on a Sunday around noon and it soon became apparent that they were understaffed. It took about 15 mins for anyone to greet us at our table and offer water, and another 10 minutes before anyone took our order. When we ordered, they told us they were out of a few things on the menu including waffles (you'd think they'd stock up for brunch). However, when we ordered the food was good. Burger was well cooked and french toast was a good portion. Would recommend to go at a less busy time. Also, you HAVE to valet park your car ($3) in order to eat at there.

Waited for over 10 minutes and no service. The people next to us who arrived well after we did literally got drinks before we were even noticed. Place was not packed at all when we were finally served the guy was a complete jerk. Nice way to be introduced to Sausalito.
