Great location. Very French, if you have been to Europe, you know what I mean, that is, relaxed and the meals are not served in a rushed style. Expensive, but to be expected for the area. Would we go back, only when convenient, but worth a visit for the view and atmosphere.
Great food. Great service. Family friendly. Wonderful location for beach and boat lovers especially on a sunny day.
Disappointing this time. One of the guests requested a minor substitution and was told 2 different things - no substitutions or the cost of the entree would have to match that of the entree that included the substitution (a sauce) - 15% more. Meat was overcooked, bread late and not re-stocked. Brought out the wrong dessert. This restaurant has never been awesome - these issues were really frustrating.
Food was ok, staff was busy and not particularly attentive. It's a nice spot to sit outside. We unfortunately didn't get a table with enough shade and baked in the sun for 2 hours.
Somewhat odd location, but near-perfect food, happy, helpful, friendly service and a wine list with some really good burgundy on it.
Really wonderful, inventive food choices. Relaxed coastal vibe and friendly servers. The hamburger is a must as well as the chick pea fries.
We cycled over the Golden Gate Bridge & visited Sausalito.
I would recommend La Garage, it is a proper french restaurant right on the marina.
While we ate we could take in the beautiful views of the marina & Sausalito.
Their food is delicious & reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly & accommodating to dietary requirements.
Delicious, great vibes and plenty of outdoor seating right by the water.
The Dungeness Crab salad was the bomb! Plus, the staff did such a great job adhering to Covid-19 guidelines.
We found this place by accident and couldn't of been happier with the food, wine, service and beautiful scenery!!
Nice brunch spot w views of the marina. Staff do speak French! Good selection of beers and wine.
The food quality has gone downhill... Ordered duck confit and got an old gamey duck leg with old tough potatoes...Lobster salad with no taste and Lobster was not fresh.
This ham sandwich is something special! Add the scenery with a crisp wine or beer and it s a perfect lunch.
My family enjoyed brunch here. There is a bit of a wait on weekends but it's worth stopping by if you aren't in a rush and enjoy sipping mimosas while waiting for your table :) homemade waffles were delicious!
Mussels Blanche, yum. French fries are incredible. Salt cod brandade always good. Right on the water.
Came here for brunch and ordered the mussels. It was definitely something to share and smile about. It was delicious.
Consistently good. Order something, you'll be happy.
Also, free valet parking.
Cozy atmosphere but do not expect a chic restaurant, it's a barrack on the harbor. The dishes (French) good and sought but overly expensive. The kind service even if they made a few extra words about Italy outside the world
Well-executed CaliBistro. Flawless service. Can't beat a site in a marina for ambiance.
We really enjoyed eating here after kayaking - great place to eat outdoors and serves a delicious brunch.
Food, drinks and atmosphere was fantastic. The staff was nice and helpful.
Great place to grab a small bite with your dog. The outside seating is great, and dogs are loved :)
The food was okay, mimosa was great!
Service was ok. Did not like the food. Tuna was flavorless, salad dressing was boring. The ham croquettes was way too cheesy and again dull flavor. Would not return.
We've enjoyed this sweet marina side restaurant as guests in the dining room and as guests at the bar and both options are fun. The food is consistently good and the service is very pleasant. The location right on the water can't be beat, and on a nice day with the garage doors open, it's like eating on your favorite patio.
Lovely restaurant, good pizza, delish cherry salad.
The food and was truly excellent! Wish I could rate 4.5 stars The best waffles I've ever tasted, perfect consistency, decadent sauce. And the croque madame... oh la la. We will definitely be back. A little pricey, but worth it for the treat.
Great staff and the food is amazing. Bring a coat if you plan to visit the shore in Sausalito.
Luxurious view, great service. Steak was totally delicious
Nice brunch spot on the bay. Sat outside, service was a bit slow but the food was good albeit rich.
Everything is good. I ordered a Kronenbourg 1664 beer, lemonade, chickpea fries, house fries, mussels, soup du jour, squash blossoms, orange zest panna cotta, apple tart, and espresso.
I have not one complaint. Not about food, drink, service, ambience, other patrons. Nothing.
The food here is very very good. I had the 7-hour ham sandwich with rocquefort and pomegranate, and my date had the Bagnat, with fresh albacore tuna, egg and avocado. This was my first time here and the service may have been a little off; my impression was that maybe Sunday morning/noon (read: the morning after a big Saturday night) isn't when restaurant wait staff are at their best...
I used to live in Sausalito, and I loved it (tough not to). This little gem was a regular haunt when I had visitors who wanted something a little off the beaten path. Hands down the best burger available, with fries so good that it makes it difficult to eat one at a time.
The location is as good as the service, and getting in can be tough at peak times. Well worth the slightly convoluted drive to find it, and the slightly higher cost - very reasonable for the quality of the food, service and location.
Even when I come to The Bay for work and to visit family further North, I'm always lured to come here if I have time. Highly recommended!
The mussels were really good. The staff were helpful
Just had the most lovely meal at Le Garage last night! Friendly and attentive staff, and the Sole dish we got was AMAZING. I want to go back and get it again tonight! Plenty of outdoor seating with a lovely view of the marina. It was such a fun evening! I highly recommend it!
Le Garage is a cute place. Close to a boat docking area, it's definitely a pleasant view. Imagine drinking mimosas as you watch the boats go by. Also because you will be by the water, it'll definitely be cooler. There are also inside seating as well as a lounge and bar area.
The selection of food is great. It's French but there are some American dishes. Prices are a bit high but the quality and flavors of the food make up for it. The drinks are great too. They are definitely not watered down.
Service = A+
The owner greeted us. The staff knew when we needed assistance and weren't slow. Overall they made out experience excellent.
Parking: there is a parking lot with free parking so don't fret about valet. Not sure how busy it gets in the evening since we came for lunch.
This is a nice spot to take clients or close friends. The food is always on point and the location is outstanding--a little bit away from the tourist crowds. I recommend the burgers and fries, they're one of the bests in Marin. The staff is friendly and efficient. The prices are not too bad for Sausalito.
Food was excellent, I highly recommend!
Parking: be careful, there is only 3 or 4 "free" spots available, the rest is by permit only (boats owner) or there is a valet... at charge.
Enjoyed a great lunch at Le Garage on the side patio overlooking the water and boats. The food was casual French with a modern California twist. The restaurant is tucked back in a marina/light industrial area, and you have to make sure you don't park in the wrong spot, but the restaurant is a hidden gem.
Very nice owners and great view of the water from the restaurant
Soo good! Went during brunch on the weekend and was expecting service to be slow since it was very busy but was impressed by how promptly we were waited on and how quickly the food came out. We had the burger and croque madame and were not disappointed.
Loved dining on chickpea fries, while watching the electric light parade in the harbor. Great service as well!
A little too expensive, not-so-French dinner, in a nice place in the marina.
Nice view on the boats though.
Ideal location on the port, calm and Franco-American atmosphere when the bosses are there ...
Good French restaurant by the port. Nice view. Good service. Very good lunch spot.
Always love the cream clams here and for the sweet tooth in you , lychee pannacotta, it's tucked away from the crowd but this place never let's me down.
Went to this place for lunch. Food was bland and service was terrible. The hostess was very rude and rolled her eyes at us when we asked where the restroom was. Ourwaitress never spoke to us after we go our food. Our favorite part was the side dish- roasted potatoes- which came with the salmon eggs Benedict. We had to flag down a different server to take our check.
We had lunch there after kayaking. The coffee was very good.
7 hour Ham Sando, was fantastic. Comes with brie on top!!!! Look of the place is cool, and great view. Service is severely lacking though. Would go back during the week, when its not so busy.
Cute gastro pub French food. Make reservations as the seating is limited.
Food was nice, once it finally came. I went there for brunch on a Sunday around noon and it soon became apparent that they were understaffed. It took about 15 mins for anyone to greet us at our table and offer water, and another 10 minutes before anyone took our order. When we ordered, they told us they were out of a few things on the menu including waffles (you'd think they'd stock up for brunch). However, when we ordered the food was good. Burger was well cooked and french toast was a good portion. Would recommend to go at a less busy time.
Also, you HAVE to valet park your car ($3) in order to eat at there.
Waited for over 10 minutes and no service. The people next to us who arrived well after we did literally got drinks before we were even noticed. Place was not packed at all when we were finally served the guy was a complete jerk. Nice way to be introduced to Sausalito.
The team is doing the best to serve you. There is a very nice ambience.
Great spot, excellent service, yummy food... superbe!
