The view was great, the food was delicious and the service was okay. The only thing that was weird was that they only have breakfast and brunch in weekend. I wasn't expecting to get the lunch menu at 11 am .

Great brunch spot In Sausalito.

Great brunch spot In Sausalito.
Everything had great flavor and service was friendly.

We ordered:
Fries with a garlic aioli- loved the sauce and I even started putting it on the bread that came with our mussels

French toast: loved the raspberry sauce on top, and the bread itself tastes like a bread pudding, very soft and creamy

Mussels: huge bowl of mussels, very fresh with a delicious broth. It came with bread to eat with the broth

Quiche: a little smaller than I expected, but the flavor was really good

Duck confit: really tender and flavorful and it was a huge portion

COVID measures: They check temperature at the door and have spaced out seating

Cool location, pretty good burger. Though the place shows up on some dog-friendly sites, they aren't exactly. You can tie your dog up along the walk path outside the restaurant, and you might not be able to see them depending on where you're seated.

I wanted this place to be great but it was just ok. Views are nice, food was good - just not great. Warning: you have to pay for valet parking even though the spot is near the restaurant and you could easily park and walk yourself. Anyway, we had the Croque Madam and the waffles. The waffles had zero Nutella on them, but some thin chocolate sauce barely on one side. They were thin and airy, but had decent flavor by themselves. The Croque madam was small and ok. Our friends had omelettes and they said they were great.

Great food. The seating is a bit odd, but that's because it's a literal garage. Quoted 25 minutes until a table opened up, but was sat in about 15. Food came quickly. For a fancier restaurant, prices were very fair. Two entrees and two drinks with tip came out to a little over 50 bucks. All in all a very positive experience, will come back!

Had their brunch at 11am on a Saturday. No wait, but the restaurant filed up very quickly.

We ordered a croque monsieur, sweet plate, and the buckwheat crepes. All of which was delicious

If the restaurant would hire a back server to support the hostess/server, everything would go quicker and smother.

Very good experience.

A bit off the beaten path but worth the walk from the ferry station if you don't have a car. Tasty French-inspired food that is refreshingly different from the typical fried-foods-at-the-dock fare that places like this normally have. Beer and wine selection is decent. The place was super busy when we were there and it was overtaxing the service, but they held up pretty well considering.

Excellent food and views! Great location tucked away by the boat docks in beautiful Sausalito. Le Garage is authentically French. The owners and staff are all French. Great spot for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch. Open air dining included. Grab a seat at the bar inside or a table in their indoor/outdoor covered dining area. Almost every table enjoys amazing views of the boats and surrounding areas. Give it a go. You won t be disappointed.

Le Garage is located near the water and eating on their outdoor patio is absolutely wonderful on a sunny day. It tends to get busy just before noon, so I recommend going early if you want to go for brunch.

There is valet parking available which I highly recommend as parking is quite limited in this area (on weekends). Note about the valet his prompt and professional interaction with customers was exemplary and memorable!

It s a nice idea to be able to buy and order drinks from the greeter, however; I believe she was new because she seemed to have a difficult time greeting, managing the list, and handling drink orders which required communication with the bar if the drinks had alcohol. We ended up bypassing her and going straight to the bar after we got our name on the waiting list.

The waiter who seated us put us at a table in the sun my husband has a photosensitivity allergy so we requested to be seated at another open table that was in the shade. The waiter said, oh that table is for groups of four. Since it was just the two of us I thought, OK makes sense. Not even five minutes after we were seated, the same waiter seated a couple (2 people) at the table that we wanted to sit at. Clearly he did not state the actual reason why he didn t want to seat us at that table. I am decrementing one star for the disparate treatment between us and the subsequent couple this behavior is not acceptable, especially for an establishment that seems to value and espouse class. The waiter was clearly acting on some sort of bias and didn t care to tell us the truth or explain his behavior.

The food is where the merit lies (and let s not forget that valet!). I ordered the French toast which was simply divine. My husband had an omelette which he enjoyed as well. Unfortunately our meal was rushed due to the direct sun exposure but the food is very good and well worth the price.

Excellent burger, but I was't in the mood for a sandwich. Setting in the marina, with the sailboats right outside. Parking lot especially for customers, which is really a great thing to have.

Hands down the best restaurant in Sausalito. It's genuinely French and one of the few places I've been in the US that makes me think of restaurants in France. Love the bread, and basically order anything that's on special. This is a must-visit place if you're ever in town.

Always good french food.

Always good french food.
Great setting being inside and outside at the same time with the open walls on the harbour.
Pricy and the fish soup was a bit too salty for me, but tasty. Was not thrilled by the aioli either....
and friendly service.

Around a mile stroll from where the ferry drops off in Sausalito in an old warehouse, but it's definitely worthwhile. Very French in the food and the service (read - a little slow but still polite and helpful).

I've been here for brunch a couple of times. This time I had PEI mussels and shared a bottle of rose, and it was a fantastic combo for a late summer day. Had to convince the hostess a little about not sitting in the sun, but eventually she gave us a spot "inside," but it's open concept so inside is really outside with a roof.

If you're on a tight schedule, don't come here, but if you're trying to go to a chill brunch with cute dock views, a breeze, and good food, it's a great place for that. It's also right next to a kayaking place where you can kayak with cute seals.

Ambiance was casual yet elegant, service was fast, and food was delicious! Sad however that neither the bouillabaisse and duck confit were not on the menu this day (bad gone there for both based on review photos). Will go back!

The restaurant is literally in an old garage overlooking the marina. We chose to sit outside as it was very loud inside. Enjoyed the lamb shank. Overall a nice experience but I am not sure it was in line with the prices.

Food was all meh. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and soft-boiled eggs. Eggs Benedict was bland and not worth finishing. Potatoes were oily and not tasty for it. Soft-boiled eggs were fine, but there's no art to that element. Skip this place. The service was great, but the food was entirely not worth the money or time.
