Good hotel for business travelers. Maybe not a holiday destination

Two nights in a clean and very well-kept room. Shuttle service to and from the airport in 5 - 10 min. Ride time worked perfectly twice. Meeting room from 10 people fit for my purposes. I had business in the immediate vicinity and the location was perfect. There is no UBER in Bulgaria, but that is not necessary, in the center of Sofia you can take a taxi in about 15 minutes and pay about 5 CHF for it. A very large shopping center can be reached on foot in about 5 -10 minutes. be achieved. The way there goes underground through a road tunnel with a very narrow pedestrian walkway, but you can walk there well. On the way there is also a Mc Donalds. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks English. It was all very much to my satisfaction. Only at breakfast, you could have run both coffee machines, then the queue would have been a bit shorter. Otherwise, I can only recommend the hotel.

The hotel was awesome. Very clean, staff very polite and helpful, nice rooms, and a free mini bar with some sodas and waters. Close to the airport ($2 cab ride), walking distance to a huge mall (10' min walk) and not far from the center ($3 cab ride). Has an EXCEPTIONAL bar with some unique and very expensive spirits and the bar tender although in his 20's knew everything possible about every whiskey and malt scotch the offered, with locations, history etc. Not pricey for the level of accommodation. Easy 5 starts.

Very good hotel, very good kitchen and service. Perfect location, close to the airport.

Extremely tasty and different menu.
The room was spacious and cozy. The bathroom is luxurious. Conference rooms - comfortable. The Christmas decorations were simple and I missed the pictures, but the design of the lamps in the hallway was impressive.

It's a 4 stars hotel, close to airport but far away from city centre. It's also close to a shopping mall. Restaurant is ok, with good meats, but do not order fish.

All OK. Everything in the room is comfortable and well organized. Modern design. Large comfortable bed, table, roomy wardrobe. Every day the room is cleaned, the minibar is updated. Hearty breakfast.
It is not convenient that there is no free access to the room where you can iron things. To do this, you need to go downstairs and ask to accompany you, because without special pass you will not go there

Nice hotel to stay in this part of the city-it's either this one or Novotel across the street :)
The way to cross the road from Metropolitan to the mall direction is a bit weird, you need to go on a small sidewalk below the highway somehow or on the other direction go directly to the underground parking of the mall.
Breakfast is good, in the room mini fridge you have included alongside the classical water also a 0.5 bottle of Pepsi, a 0.5 bottle of the local Kamenica beer and I think something else as well.

The hotel is located next to the SGS training building. The rooms are very clean and cozy, the staff is extremely friendly and the beds and pillows are very comfortable and there is even a pillow menu, which impressed me. Perfect rest after a tiring day. There is also a shopping center nearby. I highly recommend the Metropolitan Hotel.

It's a nice, modern hotel with friendly staff and everything is very clean. However the beds are way too hard for my liking and sleeping on them was rather challenging. Obviously some people will prefer a firm mattress but for me this wasn't ideal. Also the location of the hotel is not good for very much as it is somewhat out of the way but taxis in Sofia are cheap of you need to move around.

The room was big and lovely, big bathroom. The best was the mattress and the pillow, one of the best I have slept in.
All was clean. The breakfast was very good, a lot of variety, good coffee, juices.
I liked the fact they have a living room just in my floor and it was a nice place to stay with my colleagues. We got some drinks, and spent a bit time there. They have a TV that you can watch or you can connect your laptop and play what you want.

Hot room and the air conditioner was not functioning at all.

Relatively new hotel (10 years) with great location, close to the airport (free shuttle to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is provided upon asking at the reception).
There is a car park in front of the hotel if you arrive with your own transport. There is a bus stop only 100 meters to the entrance with very good connections to the centre, airport or central train station.
Despite the hotel is located on big junction, the rooms are quiet.
They are spotless clean and very spacious with big double bed and a sofa. The mattress was very comfortable. Rooms are equipped with a mini bar with complimentary beverages - two bottles of water, beers, Pepsi and juices. There are also dressing gown and slippers for the guests.
The bathroom is also spacious and clean with free toiletries, towels and hairdryer.
There is free WiFi with strong connection even in the rooms.
The staff on the reception was kind and friendly and does the job professionally and the most important they great guests with smile.
However the porters need to pay some more attention to the guests. We were 2 people with 2 cabin baggages and none of them offered us a help or directions to the room or lift. Only after few minutes somebody told us how to use the lift and left.
The breakfast was nice and offered plenty of choices but there ware not enough waiters in the restaurant.
Overall our stay was nice and relaxed and I would recommend this hotel.

Definitely not for ordinary people. It is not logical that a small beer is 6 lv. However, it is not made of liquid gold. Our aspiration stiffened our necks and froze, despite the presence of central heating. The food was delicious but too small in portions. In short, we went hungry and thirsty. This is an opinion about the restaurant, not about the hotel as a whole.

DON T COME HERE!!! Serious UNADDRESSED Health and Safety issues in the BATHROOM. Zero Management attention. You could be bathing in contaminated / sewage bath water.

we stayed during a business trip. Beautiful room, very nice and clean bathroom, friendly staff, excellent breakfast! Near the metro station and 15 min driving from the center of Sofia.Very usefull, a room with 2 PC and a printer for the hotel residents.

3 star hotel. Veneer of nice lobby is removed by some grumpy staff and no irons in the rooms (ironing rooms on every other floor, how 1970s!). Food in restaurant however is very good.
