Excellent hotel in Sofia! Close to the airport and there is also a shuttle from the hotel in addition to close to the large mall and the mall which has many leading shops

We did not have a place to eat, even in the hotel, but as a gesture they offered us a salad and a sandwich that happened to be in the kitchen, a bit disappointing, but we were satisfied with the service.

A very modern western style hotel. The rooms are very spacious. They have a minibar with complimentary content, juice, Pepsi, beer. The bathroom have shower/bath combo. The design of the shower holder few cm into the wall is not such a good idea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has many options - typically western style breakfast. The cabs are quickly available and the connectivity to the airport and metro is good.

I,ve just returned from Sofia having spent the last 11 weeks at the Metropolitan Hotel. Fully deserves 5 stars ! The entire staff were fantastic, really made you feel at home, great grub, great room ,I cannot fault the service, missing them all , fully recomend it to any one.

Great staff, very helpful, free minibar with beers, colas, waters and juice. Free transfer to the airport. Overall a great stay. Would do it again

If you travel through Sofia Airport, it is a great place to stay. They provide transfer which is for free. Also all the drinks in the room are complementary.

I stayed one night on a business trip. It is near from the airport. There is no toothbrush or baldness amenity. Breakfast at the restaurant was good.

Nice comfortable big 4 star rooms, free parking but considering the location it is normal, complimentary mini bar but I prefer to pay but have more variety to choose from, you cannot put restaurant bill on a room and pay at check out all the services also even they had CC preauthorised for the full amount they asked to pay on check in. Internet complete disaster! It cannot be because of my device because I have 3 of them with me, iphone 6s, samsung s7 and samsung tablet all have almost none wifi signal in all parts of the room and little to none internet. I attach the photos of wifi scanner and speed test to prove.

Great hotel in a good location. Rooms are quiet and cosy. Stayed with my kids for a night. Really recommend it. Only 15 minutes from the center.

The room was very clean and delicious. But no toothbrush and toothpaste are provided, you need to bring it yourself.

Functional business hotel that offers acceptable clean rooms. No keetle in the room. Leave your room early as the elevator has the capacity for 4 people only. Gym is smaller than a standard room so can be described as functional but limited.

Basically this hotel only - breakfast are quiet good, but dinner is very bad, they served bad fish - and even didn't apologies... For dinner you should go in opposite side of street there is Mole, there you can eat much better food and cheaper several time.

Great hotel with everything you need for a great family vacation. Extremely friendly staff. Great service, very comfortable beds. They offer a rich buffet breakfast. Incredible organization and hygiene! I recommend it.

Metropolitan Hotel Sofia can easily compete with all the top 5 star hotels in Sofia, but with a much more reasonable price. They have taken care of every detail and made my stay an absolute delight. The proximity to the airport is also a nice plus.

Spacious, cheap room, daily free mini bar top ups, decent breakfast buffet, helpful staff. Only major con was the AC in my room didn't appear to work, even the coldest setting made the room hotter.

The hotel is nice but the prices are too high and do not match what is offered. One room is 160 leva and this does not include breakfast, which pays up to 30 leva. The other stupid thing is that there are organized groups of foreigners and the feeling in the hotel is like being in the cheap all inclusive resort of Sunny Beach, but this hotel is not cheap and not all inclusive.

Nice, friendly and good looking staff. Tasty breakfast, fish, pancakes a lot of fruits. Secure underground parking, rooms are clean, fresh with good quality sheets, Metropolitan please put extra pillows and shoehorn in the rooms :)
