If we could give zero stars we would! We had our doctor send over a prescription for a walker and a potty chair. THEY never call you and give you any updates and we have had to make every single phone call. We went to pick it up a couple of days later and we realized that we needed a rolling walker instead of a regular walker. We told that we would need another prescription requesting that kind of a walker. No problem, we called the doctor again and got another prescription faxed over requesting the change. However, we never heard from Rhyna or anyone else if they received the prescription and if the order was ready to be picked up or not. So we called again today and they tell us that they need a detailed prescription. Wouldn't you think that they would call the doctor's office or call us and let us know that information! 11 BUSINESS DAYS later and we still do not have the two items that we needed. To say we are frustrated is too put it mildly! If we didn't need it right away we would have never ordered it! We decided we needed to speak with someone in charge, but Laurie the owner or manager was not available. So we spoke with a supervisor named Teresa. Sadly, she could have cared less about our problem with Rhyna and told us so!. So basically, we have called and order these two items again with another company and our items will be ready for pick up in the morning! IN LESS than 24 hours we will have what we need. We feel like MetroCare needs serious training on being professional and knowing how to communicate with the customers. It has been a very bad experience with very bad customer service and we will never recommend them to anyone! I also plan on calling the Social Security office and letting them know how bad the customer service is, since they recommended them off of the list.

Thank you so much for the prompt and considerate service provided by all of your staff members. Today Mr. Retcofscy contacted the supplier and personally ordered a couple of replacement parts for me. Not only did he do that, he provided me with loaner equipment I could use in the meantime. My mother s lift chair is an answer to prayer, and so is your staff!

Great staff, great selection, great prices! I called a dozen places between here and Weatherford looking for an ankle boot. Not only did Arlington Home Care have what I was looking for, their price was less than half of what the other stores were asking for the exact same product. The gentlemen working there was friendly, helpful, and just plain funny. Great experience, thanks guys!

I really wanted to use this company because of convenient location and being a small company I thought I would get more personal service. Unfortunately I was wrong. Phone calls were not returned. I think part of the problem is the person responsible for incoming faxes from the doctor because that person is not on site. I was just trying to get a Cpap machine!

The company is a rip off and the staff is very rude. They take money both ways from your insurance company and from the patient . You can buy the same equipment from Walmart, Amazon 1/3 of the price and it s yours not rental . People out there research before you buy anything from Metro-care

I am reading the reviews and can see that the issues with communication at Metrocare have not been resolved. We are currently waiting for the delivery of a wheelchair and walker. The order was placed last week by our care manager at the hospital. My husband has Guillain Barre Syndrome and we can t leave without the equipment. The care manager says that the equipment is usually dropped off the day before a discharge date. Days ago, my husband and I were called by a representative of Metrocare, Lisandra. I returned the call and left a message but never heard back from her, perhaps because she confirmed the date with my husband. I called Metrocare this morning and customer service forwarded me to the warehouse. The warehouse representative said the delivery was on the way but he couldn t say if we are the first delivery. He was not helpful and asked if I am going to continue arguing . I clarified that a phone call to the care manager would have helped with our expectations for delivery. The customer service person (actually a billing person helping out) said someone had a death in the family which left them understaffed. I acknowledged that this is sad and cannot be predicted but, Again, a phone call to someone would have helped. As we wait, my husband was able to reach Lisandra who is currently transferring us to the route driver but did not take responsibility for her lack of communication with us or the hospital. Very poor customer service.

I am very dissatisfied with this company. It has been about three weeks since I first contacted them to get a wheelchair. My doctor's office faxed the request to Metrocare. My doc's office got a response that the order was received. I called Metrocare several times to check on the progress of the request for a wheelchair. I was advised that the doc's office neglected to complete the documents twice. Fast forward through two post-op appointments when my doc's assistant showed me the various communications from Metrocare. First one page was received, several days later 4 pages came from Metrocare. Then on Feb 11 at the 2nd post-op visit, the assistant advised that they had received 6 pages to be filled in, which was completed and sent back to Metrocare. That afternoon I called Metrocare and was told that the claim had been submitted to the insurance company. Jan 17, Sandra with Metrocare called me to report that the insurance company had approved the claim and told me how much I would owe, but also informed me that the doc had not requested an elevated leg rest. (When I first contacted Metrocare, I explained that I needed the mentioned attachement.) I was informed that more papers would need to be sent to the doctor's office. I then told her that I would contact the doctor's office. I since talked with my insurance company and was told that the claim had only been received on that day, January 17. I called Metrocare today and left a message that I would not be using their services and also informed my insurance company. Very poor customer service. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

As I good Christian man, I try to have patience. I try to always give people the benefit of the doubt. But if you work in the medical field it behooves you to know and understand the products and people you work with, these people know neither. I've called not once, but thrice and gotten conflicting information about their rules and regulatory practices each and every time. It is not illegal in the state of Texas to buy a nasal cannula without a prescription. My grandmother almost died from asphyxiation and would've if we'd used these imbeciles. Dont bother even calling them for information it will be wrong. Take your business elsewhere.

Sadly I'm not impressed. I submitted a prescription for a wheel chair on a Monday and I never heard from them. I called on Thursday and spoke with Joy only to find out they needed more info from the dr. That would have been great to know on Monday,Tuesday,or Wednesday. It would be great to get updates. Here we are on Tuesday of the following week and my son still doesn't have a wheel chair and cannot go to school. When I expressed my concern with Joys lack of urgency in the matter I was met with an attitude. The customer service is mediocre at best. She lacks empathy and urgency. :-(

I have to say that 7 years ago I was referred to Metrocare. It was a good experience. Although since then it has been no returned calls. My wife portable unit was picked up back in February and still have no word on when we can expect it fixed. My wife calls for information about products order. But gets no answers. This is the worst company to deal with. They don't seem to care about customer satisfaction. Some people are helpful at times but the ones that are responsible for orders and getting equipment repaired can't seem to get the job done. Even the upper management doesn't seem to care about their customers. I have talked to the upper management and they just turn it back over to the ones that are not doing anything to help the people in need. One of them even told us at one time that we may want to find another company to go with. Very very rude people they have working there. We are very dissatisfied with this company. Can't get anything done within a reasonable time. Very fustrated with there sevice. We found them to be over charging us for their services as well. Since the portable unit was picked up my wife and I are limited to what we can do because the oxygen bottles don't last long enough and it takes days to get more in.

These are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Both times I called to find out if they could assist with getting my powerchair repaired or replaced they hung up on me. They only work on chairs they sell, but, how can they evaluate a chair for replacement? That is when I got hung up on the second time. Would not send my worst enemy to these people.

Each time I am due to get a replacement CPAP mask, I have been disappointed with this supplier. This time it has been 4 weeks. 1st they needed to get a new prescription. I understood that might take some time. Then apparently the service rep was away so by the time I got it it had been 4 weeks. SO it arrived today in the WRONG size. This, after I looked at the mask to be sure they had the correct size ordered.

If you are looking for knee rollabout / scooters, don't come here. I made the mistake of calling MetroCare/Arlington HomeCare and was told that they had a variety of knee rollabout / scooters available for purchase at their Arlington store. After driving 30 miles one way I found they only had one severely beat up unit for sale at more than what could be purchased new. Thanks for a wasted trip. I will have to look elsewhere for one.

Awful, couldn't get the order for my son's incontinent supplies completed. It's been six weeks and Joy doesn't even bother to return my calls anymore. Why don't they say up front that they don't need new business and stop wasting our time.
