Words alone will not do justice to describe MVM. Farshad and his 10 men team were beyond Amazing. my move on Jun 23-24 from Port Moody to Penticton BC was stress free, almost fun.
Every furniture and fragile were blanketed,&plastic wrapped.They handled my items with care,respect as if their own.They put my bedrm,dining suite etc.together and perform efficiently without whining,w/smile on their faces.
Each of them deserved the tip I gave.5 other big co.had quoted at a higher rate.after reading bad reviews I kept searching.I was so lucky I found MVM.Farshad came right away and quoted. Tha best deal ever. 3 &5 tons truck. Done loading in 3 hrs.

We have moved 3 times in the past year and have used different movers each time, however these guys were hands down the best!
Alex and Brandon were so friendly, efficient, professional and patient throughout the whole process, even with unexpected things out of our control (for example our building manager was late in locking the elevators for us, there was construction that day all around our condo with nowhere to park etc etc).
Our valuables were wrapped in blankets with great care, ie. piano, glass table tops, flatscreen tv, and they skillfully maneuvered a large tv stand around a sharp corner with skill (a different company we hired had actually scratched our wall with it when we moved in and hadn t bothered wrapping it as well).
They were on time and moved quickly, took about 5 hours for our 2br apartment including travel time, which is quite fast considering the large items we had and the distance from elevator to door/truck.
The prices are very reasonable and from first contact to invoicing, the owner/manager replied quickly each time and laid out all the information for us with no unexpected or hidden costs. Highly recommend and we will use them again 100%!

I received my piano this morning and everything worked out perfectly. Farshad was a fantastic guy to deal with. I needed to move my piano from Vancouver to Ottawa. MVM helped me to make custom crate and drop off to the shipper. I have to say that I was very impressed that they sent 6 guys in to pack and move the piano. The crate was professionally done and the whole process was smooth and efficient. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Farshad and MVM to anyone who needs to move pianos or create custom crates. Well done MVM!

A 3-man team, consisting of Derek (head guy), Luke and Eugene moved us from Burnaby to Chilliwack yesterday. They arrived early and had everything wrapped out and out of our apartment on the 23rd floor very quickly. The same at the other end in Chilliwack. We were amazed at their speed and efficiency and the price was actually lower than what it had cost us to move from Chilliwack to Burnaby ten years ago. We were very impressed.

Fantastic service and reasonably priced.

Farshad and his team were professional and managed my cargo palleting and transport from the house to the airport. They repackaged some things they saw weren t done properly at no extra cost and without asking. They made a custom pallet for my shipment when they saw a problem with what would be allowable by the airline and found the correct address for delivery when I provided the wrong one.

It could have gone sideways so many ways but they made sure everything was done properly.

Matthew and Chris, wow where do I begin. These two movers are out of this world, they were so efficient and careful with everything they moved, wrapping each piece that needed protection. They hardly took a break and filled a 5 ton and 3 ton truck so fast, that it only took them 4 hours. I am so impressed with their kindness and knowledge of packing a truck. Chris packed the truck very organized WOW!!! I would highly recommend them..

Farshad and his team of movers did an excellent job of moving us two weeks ago. They communicated effectively and timely every step of the way. Metro Vancouver Movers provided some moving services for us couple years ago and we were well satisfied with their professionalism and Asef was very kind to keep us updated throughout the process and made sure everything was going well.

I ve done a couple of movings before in Vancouver with other companies, and to be honest, Metro Vancouver Mover is far and away the best. The staff is very professional, reliable, kind and efficient. We had difficulties fitting my large sofa on the building (both stairs and elevator) and they were proactive and resourceable, trying everything possible to finally get my sofa in without any damage! I recommended them 100%.

Derrick and Alex could not have been more helpful, professional or kind. They moved everything.....including a 50 year old Christmas cactus in no time. This is the first move I have organized on my own and I could not be more happy. Emails to the company are returned promptly, everyone was on time.....which is very important when locked off elevators are involved. This company is fantastic! The pricing is very fair and the quality of work and care was outstanding. Honestly the BEST movers and moving experience I've EVER had. The gigantic bins were great for boxes and loose annoying things like plant pots and bedding, the antique dining set and glass display cabinets were well protected with blankets and shrink wrap. The fellows themselves ( Arman and Ali) were friendly, and efficient.
Over all fantastic, as I said.

(Insurance Company Office Relocation) Our office moved from Downtown Vancouver to New Westminster. We were shocked as to how efficient and organized our move went. Blocked my driveway for 2 hours. I am not a customer, my neighbors hired them.

We hired this company to move us in June 2020 after a friend recommended them and the great online reviews. At first, things seemed great, I called to book them in and advised I wasn't sure what we needed and described the place we were moving from and left it up to the representative to let me know what he thought we needed as far truck size and number of movers. The person on the phone recommended 2 movers and 3 tonne truck at very reasonable rates. He assured me that movers would be wearing masks and gloves and not to offer any refreshments/snacks as a result of COVID-19 safety measures, which we appreciated. The movers arrived a bit early, which was great and there were 6-7 people that showed up. Farshad explained that the move would be at least 3 hours just to load the truck up, but to help speed things up, he would have the whole crew that was with him help out for 15 minutes with no extra charge. We really appreciated that. HOWEVER, 1 person out of all of them wore masks and gloves and they just left it on the fireplace for us to clean up. This is NOT what was described on the website and what was described to me.

Somehow our infant gate was completely broken. It wasn't even locked in place - the gate was ripped out of one side of the wall, which we only discovered when we came back to clean up. When it came time to move us into the new location, the couch was scratched, shelves in our bookcase were clearly dropped and damaged. My partner witnessed ONE person trying to move a double size mattress which ended up being dragged on the ground which we have now had to get rid of because we can't get the greasy dirt and mud stains off of it. I'm no professional, but wouldn't a mattress be something that 2 people should carry in to avoid it from being dragged on the ground??? One of the 2 movers took their shoes off in the new place that had just had the carpets cleaned. When I contacted the company about the mattress, they offered a 50.00 refund. Then we discovered the broken child gate, we got the following response:

What this sounds like is this company justified the damage they caused by saying that they saved us money. While we appreciate the effort to try and keep expenses down for clients, this should not come at the expense of damaging the client's property with decisions like using one mover to carry a double size mattress. Besides, what money did we save when we had to spend a lot more than $50.00 to replace the mattress and the gate?!

MVM were the best movers that I've ever experienced. They took the stress out of moving, were kind and considerate, and were 100% professional.
They were fast, treated my belongings with care, and were friendly and considerate.

Metro Vancouver Movers - in a word: extraordinary. I ve yet to meet anyone who enjoys either the prospect OR the actual act of moving... personally, I think I d rather have extensive dental work performed, serve a short prison sentence, or even do my own drywall work before I d choose to move.

If you re on the fence about whether or not to shell out between $500.00 and $1000.00 dollars for an average sized move, I implore you to do it. Just moved yesterday and was very impressed with these guys! They took extra care to properly handle my furniture, disassembled and reassembled furniture (I am sure that cost me a few dollars, but I certainly could not have done it alone), and were *extremely* polite and courteous. Took 8 hours to move my 3 bedroom (including furniture reassembling, as mentioned). Would highly recommend!

They were professional from the start. The fact that they provided the empty bins to assist with packing was fantastic at avoid me scouring the city for boxes that I would have to dispose of. The drivers same on time and prepared with necessary additional bins and blankets to protect my items.
The 3 movers were an absolute pleasure to work with, as they all had a fantastic attitude and were professional. They were already familiar with my building having done work in the past and make it go very smoothly.

Metrovan Movers did and incredible job moving us from a condo into a house and we are forever grateful for their impeccable service. We are a young family and were moving with a little baby. They took the hassle out of the move and made it seem incredible easy and hassle free. They provided all of the moving gear including, plastic containers, hanger boxes and packing equipment. They were extremely professional and took extreme care moving all of our furniture. They even disassembled our beds and wall mounted televisions. Not a single scratch on any of our furniture or walls, even though they had to climb several sets of stairs moving furniture up and down in our new home. They even moved all of our plants including an 8ft tall cactus and several orchids which all arrived without a single broken branch. Our first time moving experience in Vancouver was great with these guys. They're very professional, efficient and quick, and also taking extra care with sensitive and fragile belonging, making sure they're protected and safe. All 3 movers were very polite, pleasant, responsible and very hard working.
They also provide boxes in different sizes, which really helped us packing and saved us precious time that would otherwise get wasted.

What a great experience. I would highly recommend this company. I love that they bring boxes before you move and pick them up after you unpack it makes it very convenient. Sam, Fahed and Redik came to do my move. I was really blown away by there work ethic and by their warm and professional maners. I have a lot of stuff and it was a gruelling day for all of us but they continued to.work incredibly hard all day and were lovely and polite throughout it all.They took apart all my furniture and reassembled them in the new place. Had an all-together great experience. The gentleman who moved us were cautious with both our things and the walls WHILE being efficient. They were nearly at a jog the whole day. I underestimated the trek to get into our new place & they called in reinforcements so we were done at a reasonable time, amazing. At first, I was on the fence about the totes, but this is hands down a differentiator, this service sets them apart. Great experience, I highly recommend Metro Van Movers.

I have moved many times in my life, these movers were by far the best I have worked with, I would give more than 5 stars if I could! They are extremely fairly priced, the movers were early, professional and careful but still super fast. I could not believe how quickly they moved the entire time and how much care they took for my possessions and to make sure that I was informed every step of the way. Metro Vancouver Movers claims to be professional movers, but I found them to be VERY unprofessional. What professional business would neglect to have your moving date on their schedule? On the day of my move I had to phone them, only to get a voice mail twice. When they finally arrived, they were already 1 1/2 hours late. Then, the owner/manager, Farshad tried to make excuses for why I wasn't on their schedule. We all know that moving is always stressful, but it shouldn't be a NIGHTMARE!!!

This is the second time we ve used Metro Vancouver Movers and both times we have been throughly happy with the results. The men coming to help with the move HUSTLE - they really do give it their all and they take the stress off my back which I really appreciate. They are very professional and always on time. We love that they offer moving crates too - it saves me from running around looking for boxes, or spending money on them. Hopefully we won t be moving again for a while, but when we do - we ll hire this company again!

I used Metro Vancouver Movers in May 2019 after reading its reviews and because it s an Iranian based company and my Iranian friends told me it s a good company!
Despite my expectations l regret that l gave this company my business and used them for my move. If you re considering using this company please be cautious about their hidden costs! The owner of the company gave me an estimate that was not near what l ended up paying in CASH!! He superficially mentioned the price of plastic wraps and packaging the required furniture which didn t seem to be a big of a deal at first. They charged me real good for that and in return they damaged two of the three expensive leather sofa and chairs to the point that l complained to them. The owner of the company never responded to my complaint!
A simple apology even would have been nice!
If you re choosing this company please don t fall for their advertisement ... l m sure they have many friends to write them good reviews!

The 32 emails between us is irrelevant to what l am complaining about! Besides, yes it s the 21st century people text or call each other for simple things . You specifically said that you only are comfortable with email. The content of the emails are nothing but simple chats! So l don t know what s your point!
Yes l stopped emailing you as your worker who came to get the boxes from my place on May 13th took pictures of my damaged furniture! If you re really reliable why you didn t take any action regarding the damaged that was done to my stuff after paying all that money for packaging and wrapping things. You advertised that you guarantee your work. I see how!!!
I put the review a month after because l gave you time to take some responsibility for your costumer service! The fact that you provide boxes as part of your service was one of the reasons that l chose your company so as a businessman you are just gathering costumers!! You didn t do especial service for me! I had a price code from another company for 1200 dollars in total including everything, they even promised to keep my stuff in their truck for 24 hrs if there was a problem. No extra charge! I regret that l chose you over them especially now that you still not even mentioning anything about my damaged furniture and trying to protect yourself!!!

If you are planning on moving, I *highly* recommend Metro Vancouver Movers. I have moved a lot and these were, hands down, the best company I've ever hired. They were fast, efficient, wrapped our valuables up safely and were very hard working. They did an amazing job and I recommend them to anyone who needs to move! The packing company we had hired missed a few things and these guys took care of all the extra stuff for us. Everything was wrapped securely, the truck was well packed and very secure. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

The owner is nice. But one of the staff was a bully and snapped at everyone including the building manager and the client. This is the second time we used them and had a bad experience, thought we'd give them another chance. Wont be making that mistake again. This was the second move that almost got stopped by strata because staff could not behave with diplomacy. There were two guys, one guy was nice and tried to keep the other guy calm and make the move work. I'll give him credit for his effort. He was polite and treated everyone with respect. They other guy who was the driver left out clients upset. The first day for a person in their new home should not be one where they get rude and disrespectful treatment. Not all the staff were bad. It was just one but he made it difficult for everyone. When we refer someone to our clients our reputation is on the line too. My clients happiness and customer service is important to me.

Edit is a response to your comment: no family members have posted. My brother and I are your clients. We are Realtor partners our who provide clients with moving services as part of our package. And this was the second move that was a screw up. Hence, we have every right to post a review. Second chance is good enough. Soon after you spoke to your staff he was defensive and challenged us. Kept asking us what he did wrong in an aggressive manner. No apology nothing.

They helped me move into my new apartment. They where super friendly and it was easy to schedule these gentlemen. I would highly recommend their service.

This was by far the easiest move I've ever had. The person who booked the move was very accommodating and courteous.They provided us with a free estimate to gauge the best option. They arrived punctually and well-prepared. They did not dawdle and worked continuously till the job was done. The movers were very courteous and personable throughout the whole move (which was a big one by the way).

This company did a great job for us at a winning price. Answered all of my questions up front and always picked up the phone and returned calls before I committed. After they dropped off the boxes, I was confident these guys were going to do a great job, and they did. We had 2 moves over 2 days, with 2 crews, with 3 and 5 guys respectively, and the guys worked hard and steady throughout on both days. Great experience, will repeat, and the free boxes drop off and pick up is the kicker. Highly recommend!

We used them for packing and moving this time around when the moving company we had used in the past wasn't available. I thought I liked the old guys, but this service was unbeatable. They brought all the plastic crates, loaded it all, wrapped and disassembled furniture, did balcony drops, everything. Then we had 3 weeks to unpack before they picked up the crates. Super professional, all around top notch. Use these guys, seriously.

A good friend recommended MVM and they were amazing. They arrived early, were professional, efficient, pleasant and courteous and were great at problem solving moving things into a townhouse. Metro Vancouver Movers have moved us three times since 2008 and have always provided exceptional service. Our most recent move (Sept. 2020) was no exception. The crew arrived early and quickly completed the job. They are the most professional moving company we have ever used.

Overall, we had a good experience with Metro Vancouver Movers, and I would recommend them for your next move! They provide stackable bins for rent, which made packing easier. They also accommodated our Wednesday late afternoon start time, and stayed until late to finish. Our three movers, Said, Moad and Rafid were friendly, hard-working and took the time to make sure we were happy. The only downside was the size of the truck, as we ended up having to make two trips, and a couple of our pictures/frames were marked in transit.

We were very happy with Metro Vancouver Movers - Mohammed and Arabi ( apologies if I misspelled your names) arrived on time, were professional and worked quickly while taking great care with our belongings. I was on "door duty" at our new condo and they were even thoughtful enough to bring me a chair to sit on! We would most certainly use you again and highly recommend you to our friends and family. Moving is always stressful but thanks to you, it went very well :-)

Saved me the tedious task of searching out boxes. Easy to pack and safer for my belongings. David and Jacob were superstars. Busted their butts... Very efficient, good natured and positive attitudes. Unlike my last experience with "Two GIRLY Men" Moving Company..

This is our 2nd time dealing with this company. They got the job done quickly and there are no surprises in the charges. We had an upright piano, 3 sets of bed frame which had to be disassembled and reassembled plus other smaller furnitures. There is no way we could easily move to our new house without the help of these folks. Thank you
