The salesman was very patient with all our questions. The two delivery people were efficient, took the time to adjust the supporting box. New mattress is very comfortable.

When I walked into the John Glenn Blvd Metro Mattress Store I was greeted with smiling faces. I worked with Gabe to purchase my Tempur-pedic Mattress. Gabe has a great personality. He is very knowledgeable about the products and services Metro Mattress has to offer. I would recommend visiting this store for your next mattress purchase.

Salesperson was informative and pleasant to work with. Upsold us on a protective cover for the mattress which helps agains dust and water. So we asked if they would throw in a free pillow and they were more than accommodating. Staff was friendly. Overall very good experience.

High prices, with a warranty process that is extremely difficult to call, or to use the claim.

Will update with outcome, as bed is unusable as it causes pain to sleep on.

12 yrs ago bought a mattress @ Metro in New Hartford NY with 10 yr warranty. Very pleased with it 12 yrs later but needed a new one. Today (02/17/20) we went to Metro in Rome NY to buy another new mattress. Loved the salesman Carey! This guy was very knowledgeable-not pushy and a great personality! He knows his stuff and was great to deal with. I would recommend going to this store.

Picked our mattress up from the warehouse here and it was quick and easy.

Gabe offered an excellent shopping experience. He was candid and refrained from any superfluous sales tactics and stayed to the point whilst remaining courteous (and mindful that we were in a time crunch with a sleeping infant with us). We purchased a King size temperpedic hybrid and Gabe was able to hook us up with next-day white glove delivery and removal of our POS old mattress. Great experience overall.

It was a great experience. The gentleman work very well with me when I told him the price range it did not change their way of treating me that really meant a lot, I was just important as someone buying a $3,000 mattress to someone buying a $600 mattress I definitely will tell others about this store

Fantastic! Jon, my salesman, really knows his stuff. He asked pertinent questions to ascertain my specific needs. He is very knowledgeable about the products, and made sure I understood everything. All my questions were answered, and I I know I made an informed decision. He also was extremely pleasant and made it a great experience. Can't wait for delivery.

I ordered this mattress online. Within 3 days I was contacted by MM, they scheduled delivery the next day. Delivery guys got there early but waited for me to get home! They made the process very easy, took my old mattress away, and were very friendly and accommodating! The mattress is unbelievably comfortable and was worth every $$!! I definitely recommend the product and the service provided by Metro Mattress!

The customer service on the phone and online were wonderful. The delivery people were really nice, they came in and put the box spring and mattress up and took out my old ones. The only bad thing was the box spring I bought was poor quality and pretty much made of plywood. It already has a hole in it. Otherwise it was a great experience!

Obviously I needed to replace my mattress. This is usually an embarrassing thing to do...laying down on various mattresses in your preferred sleep position while talking to a complete stranger is just plain weird. However, Ken G. made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. He listened to what I needed, showed me a few mattresses which fit those needs, gave me feed back, and gave me an amazing price. Ken even looked up an old purchase I had made and gave me a solution to a problem i was having with the unit after 10 years of use! I will be back soon to fix that issue and will definitely recommend Metro Mattress and the John Glenn store in particular to friends and family!

Sales manager very helpful. Went out of his way to make sure We were the 1st delivery in the am before I went to work. The delivery guys were very polite and professional,swiftly removing my old mattress /box spring and setting up the new ones. Over all great experience!!

I had a good experience purchasing my mattress here. The salesperson was very well-informed and chose mattresses for me to test that were what I was looking for comfort-wise. I just wish they hadn't shown me the most expensive mattresses on the floor right off the bat.

My wife and I had a terrible experience. First of all, the salesman fit the mold of a sleazy used car salesman to the t. He was very pushy about buying today and upselling us every chance he got. He layed the "let me go talk to the manager" twice. When we finally settled on a mattress and a price, we waited 15 more minutes while he talked to the manager again. When he returned, he told us the mattress we agreed on was already sold. So we walked out 45 minutes later with no mattress and a sour taste in our mouths. Suffice it to say, we will never shop at this store again.

On line shopping was the way to go for me in today s world . I was shopping on line today and having it delivered tomorrow . Sales representative was the best ever and informative.

We were looking for a king sized mattress and stopped at Metro Mattress to see what they had. Our salesperson was Ryan who first fitted us for a comfortable pillow and then took us on a "comfort tour" of many of the beds. We spent 4-6 minutes laying on each mattress, working our way from very soft to very firm, and listening to a discussion of the various features of each mattress. Ryan was a very accommodating salesperson, very attuned to what we liked and didn't like in both a pillow and a mattress. He was truly interested in fitting us with the right items.

After trying a lot of beds we selected the "Pure Tally Bliss" mattress which, beside being very comfortable for both of us, is made in AMERICA, hypoallergenic and dissipates body heat. We also purchased the king EZ base, a GM Vertex mattress protector that also dissipates heat, two pillows and a headboard. The total price with tax, removal of an old mattress and the moving of another mattress was around $4,700.00. We have slept now on the new bed for about 2 weeks and are very happy with our purchases. The mattress and the mattress pad really do dissipate excess body heat!

Delivery was quick, we could have had it delivered the next day, but chose to have it all delivered in 2 days time. The headboard came from another store and that was delivered in 3 days. There was a problem fitting the headboard with the pre drilled holes in the EZ Base, but after two tries by the installers they were able to mount a modification plate to fit the headboard to the base. I was impressed by their persistence and attention to detail.

The best service from a company you could ever ask for. Salesman was great. Will go again and always recomend---Thank You

After 18 years on a pillowtop, two back surgeries & arthritic issues it's been time for a new mattress. I did three weeks of research (from sleep study groups, NOT mattress companies), took the hubby & said let's shop!

Earlier in the day my back was bad enough I was wearing my brace & told hubby NOW is the time. If I'm already hurting I'll be able to tell better what helps. Got to Metro on John Glen & met Kesean Hill. My hero for the day! Bless you Kesean for the time you took with us. You listened & found out what our sleep issues were AND our health reasons for a new bed. You allowed us to try each bed (even the $300 mattress the hubby 'had' to try -lol). You explained in detail each mattress we looked at, the pros & cons. Could you have pushed & sold a $7-10k set up? Probably. But instead, you were there more concerned for what we needed & what would help!

I've worked retail & I've done sales so I know all about the 'pitch' & 'sales speak'. Not once did we ever feel pressured to buy...something, anything, & certainly NOT something we didn't need. Thank you Kesean Hill for all your time, all your help & your great personality! As I write this, I'm biting at the bit waiting for delivery of my bed. According to the tracking system, I'm only 1 hr 40 mins out! We decided on the Temprapedic memory foam with the adjustable base. Fantastic deal for the money too!

PS: As I said, my back was really out when we went looking. By the time I left I had no pain. That was just from being allowed to spend as much time as I wanted on each bed.

Very clean and professional place. Was greeted with waters and offered to take our coats. We ended up buying a mattress but the whole process seemed to take awhile. The salesman was very smart and knew was he was talking about but went a little over our heads on some things. Glad this hunt is over!

I was not pressured but had such a positive experience that I bought a mattress during my visit. I had been to several stores prior to my visit but purchased the best mattress at the best deal and thoroughly respected the associate that I bought it from.
