BEWARE OF USED CAR KEY SCAM! - When buying a used car they tell you it comes with two keys, then after you've purchased the car they tell you ALL used cars come with only one key and you have to pay $200.00 for the second key. Apparently there is some kind of underground conspiracy where EVERYONE who returns a leased car or trades in their old car to Riverside Auto Group will only relinquish one key to them. Perhaps Riverside Auto Group should contact the FBI to infiltrate this nefarious key-hoarding society and spare the salespeople the terrible pain they feel when they have to take the customer's money for a second key, but alas, they cannot, as that would let the terrorists win!

Drove out from San Diego and spent 3 hours of my time here looking at a car with my own pre approval. Told them up front about my pre approval, test drove and decided to move forward with advertised price within about 20 minutes. Danny comes out and gives me a high interest rate and wants a down payment of about $2000. Reminded that I had a pre approval and he says he didn't even know I had one and that he'll go back again and check rates with them. Comes back and tells me cap one has me at 7.9% due to car credit (my score is 763 through capi). Come to find out, they never even ran my credit through my pre approval. Of course, walked but went back to get the paperwork of what my pre approval rate came back as and they say they don't have it and make up excuses and say they didn't run my credit, i told them I already got notification that they did. They then said they ran it to their own bank only and that was the rate. They have the car advertised at $15,999 - price on sticker $22,000. Pretty sure it was a scam / lure and they were trying to make $$$ by giving me higher interest rate and not going through my pre approval / bank. Hopefully one of the higher ups can give an explanation or rectify the situation tomorrow but would not recommend anyone spending their precious time coming here. The listed price is only to get people in, they have no intention of giving you the deal, even with a pre approval. Will be reaching out to bbb first thing in the morning. They told me to my face that was my banks rate with pre approval when they never even went to my bank.

Update - they called this morning after they ran my credit through capital one (which was what they were supposed to do last night) and surprise! I was approved at the terms of my pre approval and they could offer it to me at the price I asked for with my pre approval last night. Was going back and forth with Jeff, the sales guy about delivering due to inconvenience and didn t hear back for about 30 minutes. Called to follow up and was told the car was magically just sold. Take your business elsewhere, these people are scamming customers. Will be reporting everywhere I can think of so this doesn t happen to anyone else.

The service was prompt. Just disappointed that prior to me booking the appointment I should have been advised that by me being past my warranty mileage, it was going to cost $120 Just for the diagnosis.

Because of the incredible service I have received on my Beetle at this dealership, I decided to try their sales department. I ended with a wonderful buying experience and went home with a new Tiguan. I've been buying, trading, and selling cars for 55 years. Riverside Volkswagen does it all better than any other dealer I have ever used.

DO NOT PUT ANY PHONE NUMBER INTO THEIR WEBSITE! Someone used my phone number in an inquiry and I CANNOT get the constant phone calls from various dealers to stop. EVERYONE gets your phone number and there is no way to correct, delete or stop EVERYONE in EACH dealership to stop phoning you...day after day after day.... Just be warned, you will be harassed.

Beware Riverside Volkswagen!!!!They offered 5000.00 for our car on the trade in which would pay off the 4700.00 we still owed on the car. When we went to refinance with our credit union they noticed they only gave us 500.00 for the car and rolled the amount due to the credit union back into our loan. Called the Manager he said well I guess the car was worth 500.00. So now the stress of dealing with this mess. They have other people in the room talking distracting you, you just hope you get honest people. Not here! Never again will we buy from this dealership and if ever I buy another car I will bring an accountant with me.

Liars, crooks, and deceivers. Tried to hide the total price until final contract. Suddenly they weren't the happy go, customer friendly they were trying to be in the beginning. They were rude and disrespectful. Basically told us sign it or leave. Will never buy a car there. Would not recommend that place to anyone.

My sister drove all the way from Pasadena...my brother from victorville and me from Rialto because they told us that it was definitely possible with what we wanted to put down. i told them about us driving from far and needed them to really keep their word and three times they changed everything on us once we were there and even ran our credit every single one of those times witch put hard inquiries on our credits ...they told us they were soft inquiries AND LIED LIED LIED...they called me again with the same bullshit saying they wanted to make it work for me.... I finally decided to go to ROCK HONDA!!! the people in rock honda got me a payment lower then what i wanted and i got a brand new car instead of a used one like the people at metro Nissan were trying to sell.... ROCK HONDA MADE IT HAPPEN!!! So here is a big F***************CK YOU!!! Metro nissan!!!

I feel I have to share my experience yesterday 8/1...

I feel I have to share my experience yesterday 8/14/2018 around 5:51 615pm. I was ready to buy a car and I introduce myself to a very young salesperson. He was sucking on his lollipop the entire time. He never asked me for my name or asks the basic questions what is your budget? What type of car you like? What are you looking to buy? , Instead he was showing me what he likes still sucking on his lollipop, walking way ahead of me and not caring about my needs. Then, after awhile he said oh what is your name? Seriously? , I told him my name he says OK .
The end of my search with Nissan was when I told him I was on a budget and I was looking to buy something from 15-16.5K, I didn t want big payments. He looks at me and tells me FOR THAT PRICE YOU CAN ALWAYS CHECK OUT THE HONDA S .Seriously? you are sending me to your competitor . I was in shocked about his entire approached during the short 15 mins I spend with this young guy.
Here is a piece of advice from one professional to the sales person who did not help me and he was more concern about sucking his LOLLIPOP and talking at the same time. Where is the level of professionalism?
1) Do not disrespect a client by sucking on a lollipop and talking at the same time
2) Don t show buyers what you like instead focus on what the buyer needs are
3) Most important address by name and ask the buyer names, make it personal
4) Do not send your customers to another dealer ship like Honda
5) Offer and talk about all the deals you are offering and all the good promotions. I did my homework before going to your dealer , I just was waiting for you to offer me all the rebates and promotions NISSAN has to offer
**** I do want to say as I was leaving a manager came out and he was nice and polite and very pleasant offering me to help with deals but I was upset already that I ended up leaving.
I DO NOT RECOMMENT THIS DEALERSHIP!!! AT ALL!! WITH SALES PEOPLE LIKE THAT WHY REALLY WASTE YOUR TIME
And yes!! Thank you to the sales person I m going to the Honda dealer today to get me my new car.

These guys are slimy, ewww stay away. I am so relieved I got out of that nightmare. The sole intention of this place is to stick you with payment of at least $400.00 dollars monthly new or used vehicles. Basically if you make the mistake and sign on that line hope you are lucky and get that "10 day letter" If you get that letter take it in and get out of that crap car from a crap dealership.

First rate dealership Riverside Metro Mazda, been dealing with them since 2012. Car is in every 5-6000 miles for a check up and the price pre quoted is what I paid each and every time. I've even had an out of warranty dashboard replacement for which they took care of without cost to me because they felt it was still a questionable manufacturing issue,(they could have denied it if they wanted too). Today car was in for engine light, they could have charged me for a diagnostic but instead they figured it out and reset the computer checked out the rest of the car , washed it and sent me on my way without charge. Thats taking care of the customer ,,,my first choice for any car purchases in the future is Riverside Metro Auto group,, Top notch customer service ""PERIOD""

I used to work for a big Honda dealership in Orang...

I used to work for a big Honda dealership in Orange County and I was in the market for the new 2013 Honda Accord EX-L. So just like other people, we gotta shop around a bit (in my case, I already knew what I can get it for).

So I called a couple dealerships around the area. Finally, the "EXTREMELY LOW" quote (about $700 lower than our internet price) from Honda of Riverside Metro Auto Group got me to take a 45 min drive to visit their dealer. And just as I expected, they came at me with an extra $1000 on top of the quoted number that they gave me. Saying the quoted number included factory rebates, college grad rebates, military rebate, value owner rebate, competitive owner rebate, lease cash rebate, etc. So basically, if you don't fall into ALL of these categories (remember you gotta get ALL of these listed rebates), you will NOT be able to get the quoted price.

Before we left, they made an effort to do $500 over the quoted number (which is a very good deal too) but they would not let us go through Honda special finance for the 2013 Accord (they would not do an option contract either) because they want to hold some bank rate. So, we waste no time and walk out of there.

What a waste of time, but I gotta say it is a good lesson for me. I should have known better since I am in the business as well. I am not going to say to stay away from this dealership. But I just want other people who read this review to make sure of their price before they step into this dealer or you will have to play some more game on the so called "INTERNET PRICE" that they have.

This dealership is the worst when it comes to negotiated prices. Went to buy a truck and was given a price. Then they Raise the price by 3k. I called the GM (Michelson) and he was not even interested in hearing my concerns. I would not recommend this dealership for any purchases!

If I could give a 0 stars, I would!

If I could give a 0 stars, I would!

My daughter took her hyundai in to get an estimate for repairs. After charging me $120, Nick met with her and gave her a general idea of what the repairs would cost. "You're looking at somewhere between $3,000 and $4,000" He DID NOT give her an itemized quote, LIKE SHE ASKED FOR and paid for. When shed asked him for one, for the second time, he said that they did not give out itemized quotes until she agreed to get the repairs done there. (I wonder if Nick would have acted the same way if I would have gone in instead of my 21 year old daughter.)
After hearing this, I called the service manager, Jim Sams, and told him about the situation and what Nick said. Jim proceeded to say that there was NO WAY that Nick would have said that...in essence calling my daughter and I liars. He repeatedly talked over me, interrupted me, and generally acted with ZERO sense of customer service. I was genuinely shocked that someone in a service industry was being so flat out RUDE to me, a potential customer of a hefty repair.
I did finally get an estimate faxed to me. Since then, I have gone to two different body shops to get itemized quotes. THE MOST EXPENSIVE of the two quotes, was $2100. So not only does this dealership provide horrendous customer service, they also rob you blind.

I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS DEALERSHIP ANY OF BUSINESS AGAIN. I suggest you don't either.

These guys will change terms in your contract, very sneaky like, and then they will deny all liability, even when you have several real witnesses whom know your background and know you clearly stated which loan products you must have and which ones you completely have no need for. Besides that and their unwillingness to look at hard facts, and the lies that the finance and managment departments tell, their vehicles are ok. Check your contracts 2 times or just don't finances with them. Bring your own financing and get a decent car.

I went to the Nissan Dealership in Rivers Ca .for routine maintenance service for my Nissan Altima. While I was waiting in the inclosed waiting lounge I noticed several employees not wearing masks, since I am in the high risk category due to my age I complained, and was rudely told by the service manager Mr. Simoneas that he did not believe in masks therefore if I felt uncomfortable I should take my business elsewhere! Plus other rude verbiage without social distancing! I felt, insulted and threatened by this behavior! Reported to the public health department!
