Comfort Inn Newmarket Review

Great breakfast. Clean and well appointed
room. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Parking was horrible. But hotel staff was top notch. Very inviting and understanding of out situation.

Front desk staff is friendly. Sadly our bed was not very comfortable for me as I have back issues.

First room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke so they switched our room to a different one which was slightly less smelly

Excellent service...had a really bad night and they let us sleep til noon..checked out around 1 pm....special rates for people staying after having surgery...clean rooms..beds comfortable..friendly staff..great breakfast..would definitely stay there again

The hotel was supposed to be newly renovated, our room certainly didn't look new. The air conditioner was incredibly noisey. Breakfast was a typical Comfort Inn breakfast, great sausage, watery eggs, packaged homefries, weak coffee and juice. Waffle maker, cold cereal, sweet muffins/danish and yogurt. Was expecting more from the reviews and price I saw.

This is a pretty standard motel. Not much in terms of amenities but the room was tidy and recently renovated. My only complaint is that there was no elevator to the second floor.

5 stars for friendliness and service! Megan was most helpful on the phone when I made my reservation and came to the front desk to and introduced herself when I arrived. My room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed breakfast too.

It's a five star as far as Comfort Inns are concerned. Pretty new throughout, very nice staff, usual dodgey customers. No elevators

Great staff. The rooms are not consistent, however. Some have ongoing plumbing problems and not all room fridges have freezers. Would be nice if the quality of the rooms was more standardized.

Close to the 404 Comfort Inn is at a good location to ether jump into NewMarket or head into Toronto.

Staff at Comfort Inn are very nice and the breakfast is good. Rooms are a little small but clean and have a fridge and microwave.

There is no pool, sauna or jacuzzi, and I found it odd, and a little annoying that they had no dolly's for luggage!

Not the nicest hotel but by far, not the worst! This is a good 1 nighter hotel.

Clean and inexpensive. Breakfast, 6am everyday, is good enough for a quick bite before heading out. The in room tv's are a low resolution analog, makes it difficult to watch hockey. Staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were pleasantly quiet despite being close to an intersection. Beds were acceptably comfortable and they had nice pillows. Then entrance to the parking lot is on the opposite side of the building to he main entrance, so you need to drive around to check in. The location is a 10 minute walk to a strip mall for food.

Pretty good deal for price, but found the common areas around the hotel really needed cleaning and polishing up, making the hotel feel run down. Room's ceiling was also in need of repair too. Not a great hotel, but not really bad either. Front desk service was excellent.

It was well situated, as it was relatively close (driving distance) to many restaurants and pubs. The rooms were slightly dated but had all the essentials. The hotel staff were very pleasant and rates were very good.

My visit at the Comfort Inn in Newmarket was pleasantly. The beds we're comfortable, the shower warmed up quickly, the complimentary shampoo smelled nice. The to smelled a little like smoke, but other than that, I had a good visit

An Industrial area horror story.
Good for living in it seems, not good for overnighters.

Pet friendly! Smoking does not ban you.

Had to ask the desk attendant for febreeze for our room. A musty smell of undried carpet permeated.

Double beds instead of queen was odd.
Bathroom was the cleanest part of our room, and well lit.

Continental breakfast of eggs, paper thin bacon, diy apple waffles, patatos, yogurt, pastries, tea, coffee and juice was well attended & kept tidy.

It was a great value for the price. Room was clean and fine for 1 night stay. Breakfast was ok, similar to every other hotel that offers free breakfast.

Our company Maye Transport has been using the Comfort Inn an a regular basis in Newmarket for years, We have clients come in from out of town and office staff from our other offices as well as some out of town truck drivers.
Everyone loves this hotel we have never had a complaint about anything
they are pet friendly, great breakfast friendly staff and wifi,.

New renovated rooms, great staff and close to highway

Good rates, best staff ever. Room was clean and comfortable. Good staff. Was busy holiday weekend, but noise was minimal. Very close to everything but very easy to relax. Welcoming staff made me feel comfortable. Breakfast was great. Only thing that was annoying was the toilet paper holder, which in by the end of my stay was making me laugh. But, did I mention the great staff?

Clean.. But some questionable characters were in and out all night..

Nice, clean room that is set up very conveniently with a large-sized mini fridge and microwave and patio doors directly to your parking spot. They are very dog-friendly and conveniently set up for getting your dog out for quick "breaks."

Friendly staff, clean rooms, typical breakfast buffet-with hot and cold options. Close to the hi-way and just down the road from the hospital if you are staying to visit someone.

They did a good job of following covid 19 protocols.

Very good buffet breakfast with delicious waffles, tasty orange juice and delicious Danish pastries. Unfortunately the hotel has no elevator.

BEDBUGS!! we had a group staying at this hotel on Saturday March 24,2018. A bedbug was found in one of the rooms. Hotel staff did not seemed bothered by this. Was told if you had already checked in there would be a $25 fee taken. When I called to cancel my room the only response I got was "that is unfortunate this is reason why you are not staying with us tonight" My hunch is that they probably were not going to do much about it.
I would recommend somewhere else to stay!

It's nice that it allows cats and dogs, that was helpful so we didn't have to send them to a kennel while our house is getting sold

It wasn't very clean, there were poop marks in the toilet. The coffee pot was dirty, the fridge wasn't wiped out( there was a milk ring). Just over all not clean.

Stayed overnight here after a wedding. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The beds were very comfortable, and seemed new. Linens were extremely comfy. The bathrooms were clean, air works well, flat screen TV, wifi. Breakfast was pretty good, better than continental. The cafe seemed recently renovated, as well as the lobby.

Clean room and bed, was everything we needed for our night in towb. Nothing fancy, but it was a good stay

Nothing special, this is a good budget hotel. Aside from my sink not working, I had to bring my teeth in the tub as well as shave. When I brought it up to the deal, the lady was not pleasant in any meaning of the word. Nor did she apologize about the sunk and made me feel like I was brushed off.

Clean and updated hotel. Under covid procedures , they couldn't serve hot breakfast but they had breakfast bags with a muffin and juice and fruit. Staff was too notch and very accommodating.

THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN CENTRALLY LOCATED FROM HOSPITAL, RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING. WE WERE IN THE AREA FOR MY HUSBANDS APPOINTMENT SO WE WERE THERE ONLY FOR ONE NIGHT. WE DIDN'T TRY THEIR COMPLAMENTRY BREAKFAST IT LOOKED AND SMELLED REALLY GOOD. MY ONLY CONCERN IS THE NEED FOR A CREDIT CARD .WE ARE NOT FANS OF HAVING THEM AND I HATE BEING FORCED TO APPLY FOR ONE WHEN DEBIT OR CASH SHOULD BE A BETTER ALTERNATIVE. YOU WOULD THINK WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE DEBIT CARD.. CREDIT CARDS WOULD BE SO UNNESSARY.

Decent room. Good breakfast, wish they brought back the bacon instead of the weird sausages. We had an issue with our floor smelling incredibly of marijuana and nobody did anything about it.

The Room was very clean when I got in. The staff very courteous. Good complimentary breakfast, they don't only serve toast and call it a breakfast. The price for the quality of the room is very fair, even almost cheap. Oh, the bathroom is very clean also and the maintenance staff seems to do their job very well.

The only thing I don't like about it u can't smoke in the room that's me as I am a smoker but a non smoker would love it
