I used to work for a big Honda dealership in Orange County and I was in the market for the new 2013 Honda Accord EX-L. So just like other people, we gotta shop around a bit (in my case, I already knew what I can get it for).

So I called a couple dealerships around the area. Finally, the "EXTREMELY LOW" quote (about $700 lower than our internet price) from Honda of Riverside Metro Auto Group got me to take a 45 min drive to visit their dealer. And just as I expected, they came at me with an extra $1000 on top of the quoted number that they gave me. Saying the quoted number included factory rebates, college grad rebates, military rebate, value owner rebate, competitive owner rebate, lease cash rebate, etc. So basically, if you don't fall into ALL of these categories (remember you gotta get ALL of these listed rebates), you will NOT be able to get the quoted price.

Before we left, they made an effort to do $500 over the quoted number (which is a very good deal too) but they would not let us go through Honda special finance for the 2013 Accord (they would not do an option contract either) because they want to hold some bank rate. So, we waste no time and walk out of there.

What a waste of time, but I gotta say it is a good lesson for me. I should have known better since I am in the business as well. I am not going to say to stay away from this dealership. But I just want other people who read this review to make sure of their price before they step into this dealer or you will have to play some more game on the so called "INTERNET PRICE" that they have.
