Meritage Technologies Review

I work for the 2nd Shift and Lucky Cuss in Billings as well as the Cat's Paw and Friendly Tavern in Bozeman and Belgrade. Our companies have been customers of Meritage Technologies for a year now. In this time we have changed our POS systems to Pixel Point, our surveillance systems to the Talon System, changed our Bar Interface software to Pour Controls, and switched our firewall to their PCI compliant Mako device. As with any major equipment purchase, we have had issues (i.e., new staff hired, internet issues, old server issues, etc.). Through it all the staff, Garrett Heywood, Tim Burns and Chris, at Meritage has been there for us. When I first spoke to Garrett Heywood and Jason Lehman, I stressed the fact that we were looking for a company that would provide support. This past year Meritage has shown and demonstrated by their actions that no matter the issue, they will be there for their customers. If you are looking for a company that has quality POS software and equipment AND provides the needed support, then I do not hesitate to recommend Meritage Technologies.

We recently had our old POS system completely crash on us here at the Split Rock Cafe in Kalispell, MT. Garrett and I had previously scheduled our install for the middle of March but our old Squirrel system crashed in mid Feb! I called Garrett looking for any kind of help, he personally programmed our system that day and drove from billings to Kalispell, delivered and installed it late into the night and had us up and running the following day. I have never received that kind of personal service and support from any company. I can't say enough and Garrett and the Meritage team. Before our system crashed I had searched so many POS systems and felt completely over whelmed at the gimmicks and bs I received from the aggressive, car salesmen type POS reps. Garrett came to our restaurant and actually brought a system for me to use! We spent two hours going through the software and he answered every question myself and my staff could come up with. We have now had our Mobile Bytes POS for almost 2 months and my staff can't say enough about it. Many of our servers have worked at different establishments and have used a variety of different POS systems and they all feel that Mobile Bytes is the best, easiest to use POS they have experienced.

I am one of the managers at The Gateway Club in Fort Peck, MT and we recently had Meritage Technologies come in and put a whole new POS system and Firewall in our restaurant. Garrett and Tim went above and beyond installing this system. They were so helpful from beginning to end. The support we received from Meritage is AMAZING!!! The new system is so easy to understand and work with. Thank you guys for all your hard work!!! Highly recommend this company.
