Never calls back. My realtor has been trying to reach them to build a custom home for a month.

A 1 star rating was the lowest rating I could give. Cant express enough on how much I would not recommend this company. How can you build a brand new house and pass it on to an insurance company to fix the problems? Workmanship is way below average. Too many things have gone wrong and needed to be addressed. I'm sure the three 5 star ratings are from people who work there. Look elsewhere for quality.

Hands down the best residential design-build firm in the state. The quality of Meridian's work is truly exceptional, and their team is comprised of people who genuinely care about complete client satisfaction and who take pride in doing great work. I also like that they're family-owned.

Our home is four months from completion and we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with Meridian. You will, too.

Please do not hire this builder. You will regret it. Many mistakes and issues throughout our build. Despite having signed plans, their mistakes cost us money. They did not honor their own design or the plans we signed off on. In the end, it was cheaper to pay for it than to get tied up in a legal battle. Please don t be fooled by walking through one of their model homes. That s not the end result you will get. Quality and craftsmanship is lacking. The company that is hired to manage the punch list is incompetent as well. After 2 years our punch list items are still not completed even though the contract states completion within 30 days, or a reasonable timeframe. I would say 2 years is very reasonable. Your contract and /or signed plans mean nothing to this company. It speaks to their integrity and how they conduct business. None one expects a build to go perfectly , but you do expect honesty and professionalism . Do yourself a favor and find another builder. You will be happier in the end.

Zero Rating - years ago we engaged with them to build a home. They were brokering land from a property owner and they were going to be the builder so it was 2 transactions (mistake #1). We have a large deposit but when the numbers didn't check out with the loan we wanted to back out of the agreement which was weeks old and I offered to pay for the plans, they refused kept our money and it took months and 10's of thousands of dollars in legal fees to get back half. They are the opposite of what you want from a builder stay away.

Roddy Mitchell was a long time friend of my mothers for over 10 years......so we thought. In 2012 my mother reached out to build a meridian custom home for herself following a severe stroke which left her significantly debilitated at the time. Because Roddy had been a long time friend she trusted him as the guardian of this very significant and financially consequential investment. Now in 2020 having hired her own inspector to assess the house in order to sell and relocate we are absolutely disgusted and shocked. She is now burdened with an estimated $30,000 in repairs to correct faulty siding that was improperly installed throughout the entire house. The inspectors own words were the house is unsellable like this . Despite COUNTLESS attempts to contact Meridian, she has received not ONE response. This is also not the first time we ve experienced issues and heard zero response in return. We are extremely hurt and overwhelmed by the inspectors discovery of the overall shoddiness of this construction that she trusted her friend to oversee in a very trying time in her life. My mother and I feel very much taken advantage of and we fully intend to take legal actions as our efforts to negotiate a settlement have literally been COMPLETELY IGNORED. We are angry and left incredulous and hope no one else falls victim to this kind of unprofessionalism that has caused untold stress and anxiety during a very difficult time.
