Great food, bit overpriced. review would be higher but they just implemented a dumb "dine-in" cup policy. You can no longer get a cup with a lid if you are eating there. But they said they'll give me a Togo cup of I ask when I leave? Just give me a cup to begin with.

I was not at all impressed - took them legit like 15 minutes to make 2 shots of espresso and they didn't have any of the additional ingredients that I wanted. Maybe their other products are decent, but I was none too happy with my experience.

Had lunch with friends at Meridees today. Food was good but the 4 of us have major concerns about health issues in their prep area. Unfortunately, we sat facing the glass windows in front of pastry prep and as we ate, we say employees handling pastries and other food products with no gloves, caps or hairnets. We also saw eating in the food prep area and at one point one of the employees repeatedly dropped a box of frozen apple slices on the floor; I'm assuming to break up the frozen slices and then proceeded to place the box that had been on the floor on top the prep table. Also at least 4 employees were high kicking their hands and then returned to food prep without washing their hands. Food prep in the salad area included plating salad without the benefit of gloves. After witnessing the lack of sanitation, it made us wonder of they wash their hands at all.

Very disappointing, The omelette was like rubber wrapped around shaved sandwich meat. Do yourself a favor a dry cinnamon roll and sandwich lunch meat for 8 dollars pick yours up @ Kroger. The house blend coffee is pretty good. Liked it when Zak was there but I can make a nicer omelette @ home. Doing so this morning. The register guy needs some lessons in attentive customer service his listening skills were negligible.

I live in Atlanta and try to eat at Meridees when visiting family in Nashville. Although the food is good and the Molasses cookies even better, this trip was disappointing! Our lunch party was surprised that we were charged more for fruited tea than the other flavored teas that were "serve yourself." We were told NO FREE refills on this! All of us ordered it anyway and it was awful! Watered down, little flavor....a total waste of money! Many other tea rooms and restaurants in Nashville who serve fruited teas have free refills. We all felt this was a bit "chintzy " and didnt reflect well on Meridees. Although we will come back, none of us will ever order this again. Buyers beware!

First, I never ate here. The line was literally through 3 rooms and out the door. Franklin is pretty and horribly over populated with tourist. Even though I was one. I tried 3 places all 3 had lines out the door. We went to waffle house. I am sure this place is great, just wish I had eaten there.

Meridee's Breadbasket: A Franklin Tradition

Meridee's Breadbasket is a beloved bakery, restaurant, beer garden, and live music venue located in the heart of Franklin, Tennessee. Since its opening in 1983, Meridee's has been a staple of the community and a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.

The bakery at Meridee's is known for its fresh-baked breads, pastries, cakes, and pies. From classic sourdough to cinnamon rolls to fruit tarts, there is something for everyone at this charming bakery. All of the baked goods are made from scratch using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques.

In addition to the bakery offerings, Meridee's also serves breakfast all day long. The menu includes classic dishes like eggs benedict and pancakes as well as more unique options like avocado toast and breakfast burritos. For lunch and dinner, there are sandwiches (including gluten-free options), salads, soups (including vegetarian options), burgers (made with grass-fed beef), pizzas (with gluten-free crust available), and more.

One of the highlights of Meridee's is its beer garden. The outdoor space features picnic tables shaded by umbrellas as well as string lights that create a cozy atmosphere in the evening. The beer selection includes local craft brews as well as domestic favorites.

But perhaps what sets Meridee's apart from other restaurants in Franklin is its live music venue. On select nights throughout the week (usually Thursday through Saturday), local musicians take to the stage to perform everything from bluegrass to rockabilly to jazz. The intimate setting allows for an up-close-and-personal experience with some of Nashville's best talent.

Overall, Meridee's Breadbasket offers something for everyone: delicious baked goods made with care; hearty meals served all day long; refreshing drinks enjoyed al fresco; and live music that will have you tapping your toes all night long. It truly embodies what it means to be a Franklin tradition – welcoming locals into their home away from home while also attracting visitors who want a taste of Southern hospitality at its finest.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Franklin or just need some fresh bread or pastries on-the-go – look no further than Meridee’s Breadbasket!
