Good for family holiday, not so much for bussiness traveler who needs proper inteenet connection in the room

The hotel in Ancol area, strategic, good food, clean, beach view, ok.

Very impressive with a room that is quite large and clean and there is a safe deposit box for valuables and a very satisfying breakfast because many menu choices are good for children and adults ... the service is quite good.

What I liked about this place, in terms of location and facilities, was undone by two very basic things about customer service. Let me first talk about good things - location, good swimming pool, water slides and overall great atmosphere to relax and take it easy. Good options also in terms of restaurants.
What I didn't like was their inability to handle international customers. Staff (even at the reception) has trouble understanding English. Breakfast does not have many continental options. On top of that I was charged for the breakfast, sighting the reason that I did not book it in the first place. But, could not get proper reasoning is to why that was not made clear to me the time of check-in. Or why did they choose to not include breakfast when I upgraded my booking to twice the original price I booked to begin with. Since I was there with the family (incl. 2 kids), I had no option but to buy their breakfast at extortionate pricing. Leaves a bitter taste to what was shaping up to be a good experience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

The hotel is quite comfortable near the beach. Meeting room is less comfortable. The breakfast menu varies with taste that is quite tasty on the tongue

First, we checked-in through a very long queue, but thank God the room was nice. But, wifi was REALLY BAD! The next day, we had breakfast, suddenly felt like a chaos place than a restaurant. It was crowded and not easy to get anything we want, the servants also really busy, we could not ask for any help.

The hotel itself was am old hotel but was renovated, the staff was excellent and kind. The rooms were very large and by the sea with a great view, but the room had a certain old smell which was a bit unpleasant and the bathroom had no shower door so the rest of the bathroom eventually got wet from showers.
