Yesterday I took delivery of my new 2013 GL450. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. In my 45 years of buying new cars ( at least one model from each American brand ) I have never dealt with a more professional and customer oriented dealership! The car buying process is very transparent, open, fair and comfortable.....they are there to help you buy the vehicle YOU want. They do not pressure, intimidate or in any way make you feel uncomfortable..... They have an excellent product and they want you to enjoy the entire process. I have had all my service done there for the past 6 years..... I actually enjoy going there and waiting for my vehicle! The sales managers, the sales reps, the financial person, the service advisors, the tech guys in the shop.... you will meet them all.... and they all operate in a manner that says "we want your business!" Not all car dealerships can offer the quality of a Mercedes but all could look at how MB of Lancaster presents itself to the customer and learn a great deal!

We went in to browse Inventory for the first time And they were super friendly and very accommodating so we decided to go back to make a purchase. Our car was not ready the day we went in as they wanted to detail it for us so They ended up delivering our vehicle to our home to complete all of the paperwork overall we had a great experience and will continue business with them in the future

I ll start off by saying I ve owned A LOT of cars. As a result I ve been to MANY dealerships. There is a salesman named Marshall Sanders, who is literally my go to guy, whenever I m in the market for a car. I ve dealt with him for the past 4 years, at two different Mercedes locations, my most recent purchase being at the Mercedes Benz of Lancaster where he transferred to.
He is great to work with, answers every question, and even at times when he s not working or when he s off. Not too many people do that. He s always willing to try and work the best deal for me either with my trade or the price of the car, and has always been able to work out a good deal, even if it means going to the manager and negotiating. Every car I ve purchased from him has never let me down(knock on wood), been top quality, and have done such a good job that I can actually buy a car across the country, through him, and I don t even have to look at it to know it ll be as close to new condition as possible. It s a hard thing to come by.
If your looking for a place that ll work with you, want a fast experience, and more importantly good customer service, Mercedes of Lancaster is where you should go, and ask for Marshall Sanders.

I was in the market for a 2010/2011 certified and loaded MB E550 sedan, and searched across the country online. I found 2 of interest at Mercedes Benz of Lancaster PA. I contacted Ryan C, who provided all service records for both vehicles. Since I was purchasing long distance and sight unseen, I asked Ryan to walk around both vehicles and describe any and all flaws of each vehicle, and also asked which he would buy. He was very forthright and honest, and on the basis of his descriptions I made an offer on the vehicle he recommended that was accepted. I arranged for transportation, Ryan and Tanya took care of the details, and 5 days later my car arrived in WA.

The car was beautiful and drove like a dream, but the brakes shuddered under harder braking. I immediately alerted Ryan that I was taking the car in to the local MB dealership. The dealership confirmed that it needed new front brake pads and rotors. I emailed Ryan with their findings, and requested they take care of it. I received a call from Brian T the business manager, who apologized for the inconvenience, said they were sorry they had missed it, and would take care of it through the local MB dealer. Brakes were corrected at no charge to me, and the car is now impeccable. I would definitely purchase another car sight unseen from MB of Lancaster, and highly recommend the dealership.

Getting in contact with your service advisor is a pain. Once you do speak with him, he sounds like he hates his job. You guys really need to give John a raise or vacation. He sounds tired and overwhelmed. When picking my car up, I literally spoke with the receptionist 30 minutes before arriving and I advised her what time I will arrive. She advised me she will have my keys ready and will be waiting for me. I did not get a loaner this particular time from MB due to filing an insurance claim, so I arrived in an enterprise rental. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was approached in an unprofessional,confusing and condescending way by two service advisers . When I told them I was here to pickup my car, he immediately changed his tone and body language and gave me the MB customer service that I was use to. When going into the reception area to get my keys, the receptionist had the same unwelcoming,confused and condescending " How may I help you??????" tone as the advisers. The adviser advised the receptionist that I was here to pick up my car. She literally stated surprisingly" Oh that's her car that's outside" The receptionist quickly changed her tone and demeanor and handed me my keys. Your staff made me feel like I did not belong in your establishment and their reaction when finding out that was my car waiting to be picked up was a shock to them. You should really teach your staff about diversity, that people of color ie) can own a MB too so there's less of a shocking reaction from your staff and everyone can receive the same treatment at all times !

Never will buy here or service here again! Can always count on this dealership to be inferior in every way. Brought in one year old Mercedes with check engine light. Asked if someone could just check to see if it is ok to drive. No help whatsoever. Even Advance Auto will help with this but Mercedes dealer couldn t care less. Told to leave the car and maybe someone could check tomorrow but with no way to get home that s not an option. Second option drive it with check engine light on until next week and then bring it in. If someone could have taken 5 minutes this could have all been accomplished and the cooperation would have been appreciated instead sub par in every way as usual.

Recently purchased a 2020 GLC AMG 43 from Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster. This facility is "state of the art". Our salesman Mr. Andy Fox met us with a courteous and attentive manner which allowed us to explore our options with little to no hesitation on our part. Mr. Fox handled the transition professionally and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Mr. Andy Fox and the dealership to anyone interested in owning a "Benz".

This is a very impressive dealership. Aesthetically, it is clean, organized and offers a great inventory of high end vehicles. Jonathan, the Sales Manager, exemplifies what it means to treat your customers with respect and to value their business and their time. After a rough start with one of the sales people, he managed to earn our business by providing a truly wonderful customer experience. Jonathan connected us with a new sales person, Nick, who was fantastic. We left the dealership feeling confident and happy with our purchase. I am looking forward to taking delivery of my new car in the next few days. A big thank you to Jonathan and Nick. You guys are awesome!

Agree with some of the comments below regarding negative experiences with dealership.
We were looking to purchase a certified pre owned mercedes suv .
Met with sales rep and used car manager there.
They were not very personable , and made us feel like a bother, and did not follow up or return emails I had with questions regarding the vehicles .
I figured they have alot of demand and could care less if you bought a car from them or not ,which I assume is the case with them .
Consequently we went on line to mbusa and found vehicles there with much better experiences .
We have purchased our 3rd mercedes via the mbusa website as opposed to our local dealer .
Found exactly what we wanted, minimal travel and much better pricing than Lancaster dealership.

Sales staff condescending and rude on phone...still posting cars on Web site not for sale. I have been in business for many years and don't understand how management accepts salesman Sean to speak to potential customers so rudely. After visiting and speaking with sales mgr was told that the car I was interested in purchasing for my son was a mistake and should not have been put on Web site...still on site......hopefully owners will take note and resolve some integrity issues..which give car dealerships a bad name. Have delt with lan mercedes for many years back when they were at old location..good old days..I would rather have smaller and friendly then glitch and glamour show rooms...very disappointed. Bob

My first ever 1 star review in my life.
I leased a new 2020 GLC 300 in early May 2020. The process of trading in my car and leasing the car was pretty straight forward. The leader was quick in responding and nice.
But after getting the key, everything changed. I emailed the dealer multiple times for questions regarding Mercedes ME Connect service term, I called service department regarding the license plate. I had zero reply, zero returning call.
After a month of struggle, the sales manager told me that he will be taking care of my problem. Almost 2 months since the initial problem, nothing has been solved.
To conclude, this dealership only cares about selling the cars, once the car is gone, their focus on you is gone too.
Although I tried to be patient but ignoring the customer (many times), I am sharing this bad experience.

Just another small thing. This is my 2nd Mercedes being former BMW owner. This was my first time receiving a chocolate when purchasing a car! Only a box of chocolate. Nothing else. I always end up not using the gifts anyways, so I didn't bother mentioning, but I have never seen a dealer giving a box of chocolate when getting a 60 grant car. Not even a folder/binder to keep the car documents. Just a little funny experience, this is not a reason to give a one star review.

As a first time Mercedes buyer, I can only wonder why it has taken me this long. Not only am I thrilled with the car, but the experience I had with the dealership and Sean R. This is my third car buying from the parent dealership and each purchase was seamless and pleasurable. Each time I entered the showroom, I was greeted by all staff with smiles and a genuine want to help me. I can't say enough, but thank you for making what most find daunting, to be great experience.

p.s. ask for Sean and if buying, ask about the cool coffee mugs!

We recently purchased a used car from MB of Lancaster. We used to have terrible experiences with dealers so for many years, we've bought only from private parties. I happened to find the exact car I was looking for in their inventory. It was a 3 hour drive from home so while I was reluctant at first. But the car was very competitively priced, and I'm so glad we agreed to go. I had a phone call with the manager before arriving and our representative Janyce was ready for us when we arrived. She was friendly and professional - we met, test drove, completed the purchase, and left with the vehicle all within less than 2 hours... no games - just a great experience from a reputable and very well run dealership!

Great experience! Recently purchased a CPO GL450 from MBZ of Lancaster. The sales process couldn't have been any more pleasant or easier. I inquired about the vehicle via their website. Received a quick response back from Ryan Charleston. Scheduling an appointment was easy and they were very flexible with times. The car was just as adverised. Worked closely with Nick Diaz to get the deal done! Asking price for the car was extremely fair, and trade-in value on my vehicle was exactly what I expected. Everyone was courteous and friendly, and the sales process was about as laid back as it could ever be! The service repair is horrible !!!! I brought my vehicle for service 6 times and they never found the issue in it. They gave me different diagnostics and after one year I had the same issue in my vehicle. I have spent around 6 thousand and they didn't fix it. Every time they said if we replace this MAYBE we can fix it, but it never worked. I did an appointment 2 weeks in advance to try to fix my vehicle, I left it on Monday and after calling them several times, Tuesday at 4 pm they told me " we can't fix your car because nobody ordered the parts before ". Obviously I took my vehicle home
I don't recommend coming ! !!!!!!!!!!

Recently I bought a used C-Class from a Ford dealer my area. That dealer advised me that the car needed to have a recall addressed by MB. So I brought my newly purchased, 10yr old, C-Class with 65k miles to MB of Lancaster to have an airbag recall processed, diagnose a vibration, and generally check over my used car. Their service department was very courteous and professional, worked with me to navigate my scheduling challenges, and provided me with a loaner vehicle at no charge (despite my car being purchased used from another source). They identified the two bent wheels which were causing my issue and straightened the wheels, saving considerable cost over replacing them. I will definitely do business with this dealer again.

My husband and I just returned from the best car buying experience ever! We drove from the Pittsburgh area for a particular pre-owned Benz that we found online.
We called to make sure it was still there and Joe went out himself and "put his hands on it" to make sure.
When we got there, we were treated like old friends right away, Scot was our salesman and Joe (sales manager) would always pop his head in and ask if everything was alright.
We spent three hours there, enjoyed every minute and will recommend friends and family who are ready to purchase a new vehicle.
There was no "bait and switch", we were given an excellent offer for our trade in and when we are ready for another car, we will be going back for sure! Loved these guys!

Took my 2013 GL in my an inspection and was told it needed 4 new tires. Car doesn't even have 24,000 miles yet. Cost me $1634 just to get the inspection sticker and 4 new tires that will only last 2 years. Won't be going back.

Although signs say masks required many employees wear them below their mouths and several take them off completely when sitting at their station. Janyce doesn t wear a mask at all. Pathetic really.
