Mellow Mushroom Review

Not only were the pretzels and pizza incredible, but the staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. They're up for whatever swaps, changes, additions, etc. you might want to make.

If you like soft pretzels, even a little bit, the pretzels are a must-try. They're not your typical butter brushed, browned, salt-covered pretzels. They're lighter in color, come in different flavors, and are absolutely delicious. Also, they come in threes, but you can split flavors within a single order - for example, 2 of one flavor and 1 of another. Delicious.

If your unsure about trying this place. I will answer it for you.... GO!!!!!!!!!

Place was hands down best pizza my family has eaten. Staff awesome, fast and friendly. We went twice in the two days we were in Atlanta!!!

Great food and service! Don't go too hungry though because the wait is very long. I didn't mind cause I had two beers.

One of my top locations for Pizza. You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. The service here is above par. This place has a cool feel to it. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

Great pizza, honestly, for a chain I haven't heard of before. And it's a chain if you could even describe it as that. We had one of their pizzas, though it was a bit smaller than anticipated, with less slices than anticipated as well, between that and calzones and wings we got, we were absolutely stuffed as we left.

The Pizzas that our Family ordered was AMAZING!! So filling and very flavorful!! We will return if we're in the area again!!

The pizza was awesome very good the music they were playing was kind of horrible but you know you expect that out of worldly establishment. But the pizza was really good if I didn't already mention that!

Great - but totally not like the other MMs. The vibe in this restaurant is much more "big city" and not as chill as the other Mellow Mushrooms I've visited. And it's not just the number of guests; we visited after dinner and it was almost empty.

No matter the location, the Mellow Mushroom always delivers. The pretzel bites are tasty; who can resist PBR cheese dip! The Enlightened Spinach salad makes all that doughy goodness guilt a little better. Kosmic Karma is Mediterrenean happiness on a pizza.

Loved this place. One of the best pizzas I've ever had! Service is on point as well.

It's mellow mushroom...I would be disappointed if I didn't enjoy it! We ordered two appetizers and two pizzas and everything was yummy! Service was quick and on point.

Solid option for good pizza in a city with almost no good options.

We visited from Texas on 11 /3/18. The pizza was delish and the service was impeccable! Our server never let our drinks get less than 3/4 full. She was so sweet and laughed at our silly jokes! Only gave 4 stars because it was quote pricey for pizza.

Vegan pizza, gluten free and regular pizza. Walking distance from Sea World on I - Drive. All dough made from spring water not crappy Florida water. Has a bar too. Really great pizza and it's a cool place to hang out.

Great food. Great service. I loved mellow pizza. Never going again. You can take your NWO eye of providence pizza boxes and stick them up your. Nvm. You probably already do that.

Never call in a order! The expected time for pick up is very inaccurate and you will be waiting while customers who walk in and order have there food brought to them while you wait! Disappointed

I go to this lovely place from time to time! This is my favorite place to have a bite. I go there regularly. The cooking is very good, the staff members are friendly and the payment is fair. I like eating in this place for a nice meal.

Just came to Atlanta for the first time , Mellow mushroom was just around the corner, so I gave it a shot , they straight up forgot to make my calzone, witch didn't make me angry, so they gave it to me to go, when I got back to my room and tore into it the veggies were raw , I mean not cooked at all ,Nasty, my kids pizza was good , the wife's salad she said was ok, mine was garbage.

Bartender was good. But upon arriving I said I was kind of in a rush and it took an extremely long time. They forgot an order of potatoes. I had to leave. The kitchen staff needs alot of improvement.

They offered no help when their online ordering platform went down. They did not understand the concept of writing down the order and delivering, the ole fashioned way. I was patient and have delivered myself a long time. Techonolgy seems to have crippled the pizza delivering industry and if you think otherwise you never worked in it. It is sad enough they do not employ the locals who would have driven to my house for a gracious tip, but to use the system was down as your one and only resolution is disgraceful. Shame on you

We came here with a group of about 20 and the staff were very accommodating. The pizzas were excellent, some of the best I've ever had.

They have great vegan and gluten free options and a wonderful ambiance in the restaurant. Service was fantastic and I felt welcomed from the time I walked in till I left. The next time I'm in town I will definitely be back!

Worst. Service. Ever. Waiting 45 minutes for 2 gluten free pizzas to be told there was only one gluten free crust left. We agreed to only one. 30 minutes later, waitress showed up with one completely charred pizza. Stay away!!!

Greek salad, Buffalo chicken pizza are so good. The servers are very attentive at the downtown location.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. From the hostess to the busser, everyone was extremely friendly and kind. The waitress was very honest and forthright with us about the pizza. The food was good. Great flavors. But if you're from Chicago and you want that style and taste. You are gonna be a little disappointed. But the fact that she told me this, that was enough to get me to try the pizza. She didn't lie. But like I said, the flavors are great just not what I particularly enjoy. But I will definitely go back because it was good, the staff are awesome, and the prices are very reasonable. Great location as well.

Poor service. Was there with a party of 5 everyone's order came at separate times. Wasn't even crowded for service to be bad. One order was burnt. Ladies room was filthy

Great service from Tierra placing my to-go order! Tried this location after getting horrible service from the location on Monroe Ave. Pizza from here was fantastic. As a vegan I frequently eat at mellow and this location is definitely my new go to.

The Wheat Crust is phenomenal - you won't be able to leave those on the plate.

The rest is the pizza is par for the course but they do have lots of creative "signature" pizzas that can add some variety if you like to mix up your order.

Garlic bread was meh, tasted a little stale. With pickup or delivery make sure to check your pizza. They get busy and the staff can get overwhelmed. I've had to go back a couple times to replace a wrong order.

Great pizza! We did run into issues with the kitchen. After about an hour we learned the freezer was not working properly and froze the food more than usual. So the hamburger we ordered took almost an hour and half to thaw and be cooked. Also, they had to remake a calzone because the chef put onions in it when we requested no onions when placing the order. The second calzone still came out before the hamburger!! The waiter tried her best to make us happy but almost two hours for a hamburger while everyone else at the table eats their food is not a good experience. I hope they get the freezer fixed.

The calzone that my husband got was a good portion and good flavor, though burnt on the bottom.

I got the Greek Salad, maybe my mistake was getting a salad at a pizza place. The toppings were great but the iceberg lettuce was definitely not fresh. I spent a lot of my time picking out the wilted and pink pieces of the lettuce. I let our server Scully know that I was dissatisfied and she offered to replace it and ended up taking the salad off of the check.

Overall, a subpar experience. I was impressed with how they handled their mistake. However, I think a large chain restaurant should be more on top of keeping their food fresh.

Had to wait a bit to be seated even though there wasn't many people in the restaurant. But after we were seated, the service was good. Pizza was good, it wasn't greasy. Crust was fresh and soft. I'll visit again someday.

During DragonCon we called and they lied about wait times. Avoid this place. Other Mellow Mushrooms are OK.

I prefer a thinner New York style crust but Mellow Mushroom certainly delivers in taste with their spring water dough and parmesan dusted crust. The atmosphere is fun and funky. Great place for families during the day and a few adult beverages at night.

Great pizza in a great location downtown. Very easy to walk to from the hotel district and if you have a car, they have a parking deck in which they validate parking. Great pizza and drink selection. TVs inside to watch sports. A great outdoor patio.

We were seated next to someone having a very loud, profane and obnoxious conversation on their cell phones. The staff did let us move. The floors were gross and my sister in law s gluten free pizza was undercooked.

I was traveling and received excellent service. The manager was extremely nice and went the extra mile with plates, napkins, silverware and condiments!

If you have ever been to or eaten from a Mellow Mushroom, this place meets all expectations. The food was great and the restaurant was clean. We ordered there spinach salad (amazing!) and the pizza that had nearly everything on it. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Service could have been a bit better, had to flag down server for refills and check, but otherwise food & atmosphere was great!

They we're close to closing, but they still let me and my little brother come in and sit down for a meal. My little brother got a gluten free slice, and I got a buffalo chicken slice, and both were SUPERB. And the atmosphere of the place, along with the fact that they are right next to a parking garage in downtown, aren't bad either.
