Mellow Mushroom Review

Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, and amazing pizza! Having a daughter who is dairy free and gluten sensitive it can be hard finding restaurants when traveling. Mellow Mushroom didn t disappoint! Vegan cheese and gluten free crusts made it a great option for her while the rest of us enjoyed our favorite toppings as well!

I absolutely love the pizza here! Delicious!!! This location is perfect with a great atmosphere!

Mushrooms Soup Fantastic, Clean bathrooms sometimes, but overall clean Environment

they forgot about our order, it took them 25 minutes for them to offer us drinks, then 15 minutes to get those drinks and food was ok

The wait here is terrible! Was waiting an hour plus before I got food! Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! >:^(

Food was great but the server we had was unprofessional sitting talking to a coworker who was on her break taking over 5 minutes to bring a Togo box and our check will not eat there again

So I usually go to the Mellow Mushroom at perimeter but I was craving pizza and the downtown location was the closest (30 min). So the time is 8pm I persisted to cal 15 times trying to make a to go order. No answer!! I get there and then I couldn t find parking. So I finally walking around 8:42 and I was told I couldn t order. I was also told that they usually take phone orders until 8:30pm. How can u take a phone order if I don t pick up the phone ? Then it wasn t even busy. I will never return to this location again. I will only go to perimeter.

THE BEST PIZZA!!!! Their dough is so good, everything is so fresh, and I love their salads too. Service is always really great/friendly. I love this place, and they need to have a location is CA already!! Anytime I am in town, I get Mellow Mushroom. Prices are not at all bad!

Great! Atmosphere is fun, but one of the things I liked a lot was that the music is not too loud so you can actually have a conversation! The pizza I ordered was awesome! We'll definitely go again

There staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable on their product. I wasn't clear on the vegan option, but after a conversation with a staff member, my choice was clear.

Amazing food and amazing service!! The place is super cute inside, there s two floors and plenty of sports TVs along with a full service bar. We ordered the pretzel bites and the Magic mushroom soup was delicious! We also got the Holy Shiitake mushroom pizza (clearly we love mushrooms) and the kids tried the cheese pizza which was loaded with melted cheese. I would definitely return to try more next time we re in Atlanta!!

The pizza and calzone was great. Staff is friendly. They have sports on TV.

Wow! This is the best Mellow mushroom I have ever been to. It is right by bus station and in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. I came straight from the bus due to traveling for work. Emily our server did an Extraordinary job cause we had alot of questions. Since I am now trying to convert Vegan I have been with out processed meat and dairy for 7 days! Whoop whoop...
So "Extra Emily" -thats her name now- recommends due to my restrictions "Pretzel Bites". She told us they were the best appetizer....

We also ordered a " Great White Vegan Pizza w/ White Sauce" Gooood Lordddd. Soooooo good! Now it did come out the wrong sauce but CODY The manager, man he personally made my whole day. The pizza came out and its one of the best pizzas I've ever had! And its Vegan! Check this Mellow Mushroom out and you won't be disappointed! Sswirl will be back... #love #peace #greatfood

Perfect atmosphere, fantastic food and friendly staff!

Food is on par with all Mellow Mushrooms. This location lacks some of the character that others have, but it makes up for it with outdoor seating.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it had very few vegetarian options and no vegan options - contrary to what was claimed online. If you don't care about this, treat the review as a 5 star review.
This is a pizza, salads and hamburgers eatery. Nothing fancy but good quality. The service was quick (the place wasn't busy) and friendly. The prices are OK. Nice ambience with all the big metal mushrooms hanging from the high ceiling. It's a good place to bring kids. Great place for teens to eat and for anyone hungry.

I ordered a half and half pizza with a friend of mine, and the pizza came out hot and ready! Great customer service there, and the pizza was very delicious!

Love Mellow Mushroom! Great food and I love the atmosphere. I always get a calzone, but I can't recommend the pretzels enough. I could eat their dough forever. My waiter was really cool and knew the menu perfectly. Great stop while you're in Atlanta

Service was slow. Restaurant was a bit untidy. Food was fine.

The pizza there is great but I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and it was terrible. I couldn't get past the first two sips it was so bad.

Good pizza with a great atmosphere! Had the cheese bread, which was great. The pizza was above average, but not the best you will ever have. However, if you want lunch or dinner with a very chill vibe, then this place is perfect. Very clean, with a friendly staff.

The pizza flava was built to perfection! Great interior design too!

I don't often give this type of review but this place deserves it. The worst pizza I have ever had. The Greek salad was not really a "Greek salad" but more like a green salad with a few extra ingredients. The only saving grace was a wide selection of decent draft beers.

I could only give them 3 stars because they don t take allergies seriously - I cane with my daughter and I have a problem with dairy. I asked every question under the sun and I still ended up with an allergy reaction! I don t care about the fact that the guy was new, I was clear and I asked questions, I m sorry you forgot about that!

On the other hand...my daughter loved her pizza and pretzels and the waiter was super nice ;even though he s was brand new) The service was a little slow but the pizza came fresh and the way we ordered.

I got a burger and even though I asked for zero dairy products on it, I ended up with butter on my bun that contaminated my burger even tough I had asked for a new bun with no dairy...If you don t have a dairy problem, thus burger is better than any burger joint I ve tasted in a long time, soooo good!

Waited 1hr 30 mins after being told it was a 45 mins wait and then after being seated waited another hour before our food arrived. Waitress took our order and did not return until food was ready. Not 1 person apologize for extreme wait times. Obvious short staff and lack of management present.

I always enjoy my visits to the Mellow mushroom. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. It was conveniently located across from where I was working and I didn't have to wait long for my food.

I ordered a GF pizza and it was bad. The crust was soggy and chewy, the sauce was average and had way too much, and the flavor was average.

I also ordered a cookie for dessert and asked for it to be warmed up. It came out burned and too crispy.

My friend and I flew in from Canada today, had been up since 4 am, had our flights cancelled, overall our day was a mess. However as soon as we walked into Mellow Mushroom we were instantly greeted by an amazing group of individuals, and had the best service. The most amazing thing was is not only was the food DELICIOUS but they admitted something was burned and were remaking it; which had they not told us, we never would have known. Following that we were treated with even BETTER service which neither of us felt was possible! You guys are amazing !

Because after waiting twenty-five minutes the wings were wrong and to dark also my red potatoes were burned black I order all flats and they gave me all drums..

I work across the street at the Summit building so I treat myself here once or twice a month. Excellent food. For lunch I normally get their subs. Meatball sub is wonderful. Their giant cookies are so good. Pizza is very good to excellent.
