My simple question how many damage-free years do I have and what is the monthly premium, has been waiting for a response for a month. Called back sir you want to send an e-mail but based on the other reviews I have to insure myself somewhere else before something is really going on. Unfortunately

what a very annoying company. all they do there is transfer to "the intermediary". it must then provide answers to the terribly amateurish behavior of this company.
I have received reminders for invoices that I have not received, after many questions and telephone contacts on my part, the invoices appeared to be "hidden" between policy sheets.
after transfers the payments appear to have been refused due to the stated attribute ..... AND NOW ?????
Very bad experience with it. Something as simple as changing a bank account number doesn't even work, even after a few phone calls and emails about the period of more than 6 months. I'm curious what happens if I need help on vacation. Will I receive it 1 year later? I'm going to cancel it as soon as I can.
Have just taken out short-term travel insurance with SELF arrange and the assignment has been completed and paid to Melching Ass. Seeing 2 google reviews listed here, I called SELF and they have an excellent partnership with them as it is just the administration that is carried out by Melching, the insurance is taken out by SELF and so far I am very satisfied with their advice, so I also trust that I can travel safely insured, wish you a nice summer
Just had telephone contact. I was put on hold for a short while, but then I was given a friendly word and good service.
Like many here report bad contact with them. After almost a week, no message on my mail. Therefore a well-deserved 1 star
Letter of cancellation sent, but no response from Melching. More than a month later I called about the cancellation. I was told that I had to cancel the insurance through the intermediary. Apparently they couldn't do that differently. That could also have been communicated in response to the cancellation letter. A business model like this will not be sustainable in the modern insurance market. I was kindly helped on the telephone.

Tried to change my account number three times, but it just doesn't seem to work. Then cancel the insurance.

Poorly accessible! And do not respond to sent mails.
Concerns but no response and action regarding cancellation home insurance, 2.5 months now. I sent 3 mails myself and received 2 x promotions from opzeggen.nl with cancellation letter. Weird bad! And the complaint form does not work on the site, how useful is that ?! How can you get this company moving? And then with prompt and correct handling of cases.
What a worthless and very bad company this is !! Never insure anything again !!

Ask nicely with which intermediaries do you work in our region and then they have no answer to that. The only intermediary they could name is Metkelbach, which is rated with 1 star. Can never be reached by phone
Bad communication, does not respond to any mail! By telephone you only have to deal with a receptionist who gives the advice to .... send an email!
Less and less satisfied with Melching. My report since November. Claiming my building insurance. All forms filled in, photos sent, quotation made, questions answered again, a damage expert has visited and now someone has to come again?

Worthless insurance company, reject boat insurance because I had to avoid 3 years ago. But I have been completely acquitted but that does not matter anymore. No criminal record or conviction by the Dutch legal system, but still convicted by melching insurance.
Years ago you had to fill in the insurance application whether you have been convicted by the judicial authorities in the last 8 years, the question now is also whether you have been in contact with the police or the judicial authorities in the past 8 years.
So for anyone who says no while you have been there alone for speeding, for example, that is another great excuse for the insurance company not to have to pay!
After reading all the reviews here I am actually happy that they don't want to insure me !!

What a pathetic organization! The care for customers is zero and they are talking as if they are doing a favor for you. Everytime I talk they mention another reason to not cover the damage. And everytime I confront them, they change their mind and ask me to fill their form. Moreover, it is funny to see them keep replying in Dutch even though I mentioned (in Dutch and English) that i may not be able to explain myself properly in Dutch so I'd appreciate if we keep it in English. Unfortunately, another money trap, you pay for a good service and you receive nothing in return.
