MSAC is a gr8 place with staff that are friendly. MSAC has heaps of facilities that supply engagement. Looking forward to my next visit.
You cant beat MSAC for range and quality of services. I am pleased to be a member
I swim here pretty much every week for swim comps and it s great. Both indoor and outdoor pools are wonderful and they are both able to change from 50 meter to 25 meter pool. This is where the swimming was for the 2006 commonwealth games. There was a flow rider but now it s been changed to a performance pool which is a pool that has jets so it fells like a never ending pool. The Swimming Australia Short Course Open Nationals will be held here for the next 3 years. The bball courts are wonderful also. Everything is great to be honest.
Great sports and aquatic centre. Court hire is quite expensive for regular bookings but great facilities and staff. Park on Canterbury rd to avoid parking fees and fines.
rating doesn't apply, if you it's awesome otherwise worse
Lake Albert was beautiful. Cold evening, very little breeze. Oh yes and msac 100m away across the road. Photo from other end looking back at sunset.
Good facilities and staff are friendly. Hard to get to over the phone.
Parking, amazing facilities of different types. Hard not to be impressed.
Lots of badminton courts but poor flooring with no proper mats. Good if you're only playing very casually. Courts hire prices have gone up. Expensive on site parking but close to public transport. There are better options around Melbourne city.
Extremely overpriced cafe. Rude worker served me and gave me the wrong change by a whole dollar and continued to deny he has made a mistake. Spoke in a rude and condescending manner just because we were younger. Will not be reccomending this place ever ! Not coming back to swim or play basketball for a long time
Great place to play badminton and other sports with your mates.
Love this venue but the only is the basketball courts are hardly available for public use.
This place is huge, and the opening hours are very convenient. A little more expensive than other public pools if you're just after a lap pool. It was also confusing on my first visit, and staff weren't overly helpful directing me to the pool.
Some of the best community facilities I have used. The basketball courts are well maintained.
A nice place to cool off. Food kiosk system does not work all that efficiently. Close to trams. Easy to find.
It was ok, the water slide needs to be done up because it scratches your back as you go down and the dive boards need to be open more often
Great for swimming. Pools at a range of temperatures from "swim hard" to "escape winter".
I regularly use the indoor pool. Well maintained and clean.
Great for swimming, basketball (juniors) and pre season Melbourne United games
Mostly only go there for badminton - the courts are nice, although sometimes stuffy and sometimes warm but mostly they are otherwise quite good. Changing rooms are conveniently located and there is cold water taps which is great. Also it is in a convenient location so very good for meetups.
If I were reviewing the place itself it would be 5 stars but the unimaginably unusable booking site has chopped 2 stars off. Not only is it impossible to book more than one court at a time it is horrendously slow, and doesn't work 90% of the time. It is actually astonishing how bad it is - you would have to try to make it this bad. I had to make 3 accounts just to book courts because it kept locking me out of my old one.
A huge sporting complex, perhaps too big. Not worth the membership as there is always an event running which makes parking an issue, not great when you re paying over $150 a month and can t get in to use the facilities. Swimming pools are often overbooked to swim clubs / schools leaving the public being crammed into one lane like sardines. Gym was recently updated and is worth joining, a good range of cardio, cable and free weights. Pools and basketball area are all modern. Staff are friendly and always available to help.
Amazing facilities. Clean and tidy. A great competition venue.
Very nice facilities! The have a 7-day free trial that really lets you try and Test all the facilities! Very helpfull and friendly staff! Everything Clean and tidy! Definitely recommend!
Took 5 kids for a swim and play on the slide, and wave pool, expecting to stay all afternoon but the water was so cold, we left after 1.5 hours.
Great facilities, parking fees disappointing! Cafe nice but overpriced.
This place is huge. The basketball comp here is really good too
Really good facilities here and clean.. for all sports not just the pool and gym. Thank you
Big actually should say massive place and has all different types of sports u could play there
Pool is always awesome. Wave pool. Water slide. And all sports courts!! Yummy food from the cafe too
Under covid provisions the MSAC staff were very professional & polite. They were taking names & addresses & asking covid questions. I was impressed they were taking temperatures. It was also great they were giving us 50 minutes whereas most pools are only allocating 45 minutes. Moreover, the booking system is giving the option of booking a few days in advance. Some pools like gesac are letting people book 7 days in advance. It ends up in a farce where people are booking on wednesday for next wednesday. I bet they get a lot of no shows.
Awesome!!! On Tuesdays even better for the kids, the wave rider all day pass for $15. Great place to swim otherwise, wave pool, Water Slide, diving pool, out door pool, in summers with a Movie on, and just leisure pools. Fun and practical, all the Sports area's are practical and fun. The price for entry is worth it.
The short guy at the reception is disgusting, rude and SHOULD NOT be working there. The lifeguard is just as bad near the outdoor pool.
Good place for social badminton. So many other sports as well to play.
Trained at the fitness centre for the first time. I was toured by Tristand and met management, Etienne and Cameron. I can't wait to sign up and for the exciting expansion of a high performance training centre.
Superb swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and great squash courts
Staff is not 100%. Sometimes the Staff turns off the Squash courts lights half way through a game. Then sometimes they won't turn on the lights after you paid. Water filter at the squash area needs to be replaced already been like that for months.
Not enough parking and facility for this huge stadium
Very relaxed, most people keep to themselves and the l quality of cleanliness is good and definitely priced well for a summer day out
I used to like rhis venue but the price of parking is a joke. They clearly only care about members and $$$$$. All the sports facility users are being ripped off
Fantastic facilities for all age groups and sports.
State of the art sports facilities. Played basketball here for a small entry fee and was not disappointed.
Love the hydro spa sauna wave pool timed the lap on a leisurely pace across one way 3 minutes.. Great just for fun
Of course! Best place to play sport or workout anywhere...
Only been here once. Facilities is there. Bring your own amenities and hair dryer as they do not provide any. (Not sure at Aquatic side) badminton side doesn't have any. Price is a tad pricey.
Best facilities and so much fun. Love the customer service here too. 5 stars only.
Good facility but not enough courts or car parking for the pre-eminent sports facility of inner Melbourne.
Management, management, management. Great facility but poorly managed. Today at 2.30pm the front desk had 2 computers engaged with patrons and I had to wait as there was no way to generate a pool ticket. Only 2 computers at the main desk.
