Great place for sport! I do table tennis lessons here.
Badminton courts are wooden so they're okay but not the best. Lighting is harsh so once again not the greatest. They are my choice of court only because of location making it easy to get to for meetups.
If i could do multiple stars for different things however, the would get a 0 out of 5 for the website and its astoundingly bad interface. It is incredible that a booking system can be that bad.
All in all it's decent except for the website which is so terrible that I'm at the point where I'm ready to choose a different location.
50 metre pool was clean, just the right temperature and not too busy at the time I was there.
Something for everyone, a well equipped centre that offers so much more than a few swimming pools.
Parks Victoria's parking cash grab is a disgrace. I've been using the facilities here for 30 years, but am now forced to pay $5.20 for an hour's parking! Joke.
Water baby classes are fantastic!!! Old school showers could be better, but overall I'm really happy! Nice and clean, friendly staff, amazing!
A comprehensive sporting location so close to the city for after work training or casual excersize. Indoor and outdoor pools and plenty of weights and spas for that extra boost, a cafe to help replenish yourself and plenty of parking.
Great sports centre. The spaces are extremely well kept and there's something for all ages.
Make sure you have a pay way debit card or you wont be able to exit car park
I think it's one of the greatest swimming centres in Melbourne
These guys shut down their gym for a couple of weeks but won't give out extensions because technically you could still do group fitness classes (something i don't do) avoid these guys if you want someone who actually cares about their customers.
Great facilities but parking can be a hassle on busy days.
Cool swimming pool, epic gardens, has an indoor hockey place
Wasn t allowed to dive or flip off the three meter diving board. Wasn t even allowed to sign my life away to do so.
Amazing atmosphere and easy access just via the Melbourne grand Prix track
MSAC caters for most sports that i play. Bookings are easy to make. Plenty of drinking fountais. Toilets are clean. Only parking can be difficult to find on Friday evenings.
Great gym and facilities, plus you can run around the lake after a work out. Friendly and helpful staff and great vibe for working out
A big centre, the are so many lap pools and events can be held here, such as swimming races. There is a wave pool, water slide and a kids pool.
Friendly staff. Great outdoor pool. Not too pricey.
Great pool, parking can be tough around Grand Prix time though
I've been coming here for the squash courts with friends a couple times now and the place is well polished, courts are well lit, and the staff are friendly. Never had a problem booking a court, and there are heaps.
You have both indoor and out door 50m pools that are great but can become busy at times when the lanes are booked out.
With regards to the pools. Not much there and over priced
Great pools and sports courts for basketball, table tennis and badminton
Amazing place for water sport, compulsory to pay for carpark spot. Sometime difficult to find a place.
Went to see my grandaughters swim in the schools state finals great day great facilities
Very nice place. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. The pools are great: one 50m indoors and one 50m outdoors. Great for kids too with slides and baby pools. There is also a sauna by the way! The gym is great and friendly. The staff is mostly nice, there are sometimes a few arrogant ones ;-) but really quite ok compared to other gyms. One downside: it s quite pricey.
No change rooms at visitors/competition area, only toilet and cafe
Great place for going swimming and doing badminton only downside is that it does tend to get a bit busy here during the afternoon.
Interesting place to watch the birds & view a nice skyline
Great place for the kids. Waterside and wave pool indoors plus plenty of other pools including covered outdoor 50m pool.
Parking costs expensive. Takeaway food was nothing special. The facilities are really well appointed. Need more space on the indoor hockey court between the teams and the courts.
It would be nice if they reinvested in their sporting equipment. The basketball rings for one are defiantly showing their age - bent, lopsided rings or busted springs.
excellent venue for all ages. why did it take so long for me to discover this place...
A lot more there than what I was expecting honestly. Also I just went for mcw 100 lol but looks good
Excellent facilities, always expanding and improving! Plenty of helpful staff, and ever-more community programs everytime I go
I enjoy how this place is clean and spacious. It is a well run centre with plenty of facilities to make it an easy experience to take children to (good parking) and for Adults to do their own thing of pool exercise or swimming laps. It is very popular with schools, but they are unable a separated section of the Centre which makes them non intrusive but we can still see them, but not hear them.
Overall I think it is a really great place, and staff well chose who are helpful and friendly.
MSAC is a great place to take little kids. They have upgraded their change rooms to have family showers and family change rooms. Super easy to get a little one ready for the pool.
This Flowrider at MSAC is a great machine and a lots of fun. Have a go next time your there!
Regular gym and pool user, member for over a decade. It s okay but given this is such a prestigious complex the quality of organisation, staff being able to answer questions or solve simple issues etc is often a bit frustrating. Takes a brilliant facility into good not great territory.
Not impressed, great facility but unprofessional ,poor organisation ,waiting on hallway @Basketball courts, long time before getting in Friday nights, superhot and no ventilation...
Really not a good place for table tennis events (balls overlap with the white ceiling, wooden ground is slippery, expensive rates)
Upstairs hydrotherapy pool is inconsistent in temperature. Very rarely are the showers warm.
awesome staffs and I love the sauna. Kudos to the maintenance manager for keeping things organize.
Gone corporate greed. What a pity. What happened to MCC making it an accessible place for all instead of several dollars an hour carparking. Never like that in the 80s
Parking can be annoying at MSAC...first ticket machine was out of order, second one rejected money over and over until accepting it. Then inside MSAC we bought tickets to go in, I asked "do I need paper bangle on my wrist" I was told "no" , we went in...got in the hot pool and immediately I was told I had to have a bangle. So I had to go back to the clothing locker, also paid for, get more money and stand in line, dripping wet, to get a bangle. Otherwise the amenities were first rate.
Great!!! Had my son's 4th birthday party here we did the jump n castle. The staff was awsome!! Food was also great!!!! Although the sandwich platter was a little small but overall they made it a great day for my son!!! Thankyou so much
Great place to take the kids, plenty to keep the kids occupied
Ir is really an amazing place... The gym is by far my favourite in Melbourne!! MegaClean, usually kind of empty and top equipment. the swimming pools are awesome!!!
Lots of options for activity. Well maintained. Friendly & helpful staff.
Friendly customer service. I wish they can have a family pass/membership. Like a package sort of thing to the aquatic services. Was slightly pricey as a family. I asked and was told they have never considered having it. Beautiful place nevertheless.
Had a small birthday party here (and outside afterwards). With the wave pool, the slide, the inflatable obstacle course and the high slide the kids (9 to 11) had a great time but tbey must be competent swimmers to be allowed access (which is tested). Many life guards. Cafe is not too bad.
Best Pool complex in Melbourne.Joined Powerpoints Masters Swimming Club there.Just Brilliant.
MSAC should not removed the flowrider. I understand you that it did not fit there rich patrons but a lot of other civilians where using the flow. I was a regular to msac for the flowrider and after they removed it from there facilities I have been blocked from all there social media accounts for no reason. I would not recommend the facility anyway the pools are too large and maned by 1 to 2 lifeguards at a time, which is not enough for a 50m by 30m pool for 60 to 100 patrons. The food and drinks are over priced and the gym, well if you want to go to a good gym I'd reccomed anytime it's not to far and has better facilities and trainers. The hype around msac is overrated, not because it doesn't have flow but because most to all of the facilities are not taken care off, it is under staffed and it appears that all they care about is school competition which is devastating considering that it is a public pool and locals who would like to bring there kids for a swim on a school night or weekends can not due to the amount of people there for events. I personally would recommend locals to go out of the city to find a nice family oriented place to enjoy time with family and see there kids grow as swimmers with staff who have time to get know there kids.
Great water sports centre. Wave pool and huge slide, recommended
