Media markt arena Review

Excellent service, hopefully remains as good as it is now. Sometimes I have to wait a little long, but I am always pleasant and well helped.

What an arrogant store this has become! Just wasted almost 40 minutes waiting to get the product which I exactly knew I wanted to buy.... The Samsung section didn't feel like having people to welcome you! Sad to see this experience having been client here from so long.... :-(

It's really big, and host a very large collection of electronics. Also very up to date with their collection. However not happy with customer support, sometimes you have to wait like 30 mins or more to get hold of some one to help you.

Terrible to buy a car radio here, first wait 30 minutes until you are helped. Then a colleague must be brought in. This then does not come 45 minutes, I went to search. Once found, the employee does not have any knowledge about the product. So busy 1.25 hours for free.

Very wide range and people know what they are talking about.

Not bad. Has a lot of choice, but I miss more of latest tech gadgets.

Replace the ipad screen, but then ipad always dropped out. I have been back several times and I have already resigned myself to the fact that it will never be that good again with the ipad.
Upon pick-up it turned out that they replaced the ipad free of charge after 2.5 years. Really top regulated and media market rises in sight!

Staff there are truly Amsterdams and security means that you will be tackled fiercely if you make a mistake and walk through the wrong gate. (Even if you are an employee)

Busy noisy shop like any media market. Offer is large. Prices are good.

At the information desk had to pick up an article and was helped by a lady who clearly did not feel like working there. Old grumpy.

Shop and assortment is fine. Like staff. But what a hassle if you want to leave the store and there is a line of people waiting for the class. Why not a separate exit if you do not want to pay anything?

Good and solid Media Markt with a wide selection of products. Parking is best at Parking Harbor 6 (under the pathe, opposite the MM Arena). Please note: concerts can be given in the neighborhood, as a result of which the parking ports are overcrowded.

Large media market with a lot of supply and enough staff at most times. Sometimes suffer from empty shelves or lazy or incorrectly filled shelves.

I had to wait for 23 minutes to get help and then it was unsatisfactory.

Good shop just a pity that you have to look for staff to ask a question checkout system I think is awful the waiting time has only gotten longer at the checkout

Media market has a huge number of options and good service

Purchased washing machine. Was supplied by external company. Not to speak about external company at all, but if you express your concerns about that external company and that they have really delivered badly and left me with an old washing machine, then they play down and hang up the phone twice. Only because I expressed my surprise that I have NEVER been helped so rudely. That with tears in my eyes I saw how they were leaving without any help.

Sometimes really feels like an IKEA for electronics or something. Very large shop where you can see and try anything and everything, but the employees are of course difficult to find.
In the end was really really helped by Bram. He was nice, he had a lot of knowledge about coffee and I was allowed to try a few more cups. Unfortunately, that experience was later ruined by one of those "cheap energy" wolves who asked me if I wanted a 200 euro discount. That really left a sour aftertaste.

Pathetic service - We have ordered a washing machine and a fridge by Mediamarkt Amsterdam Arena. The delivery not done on the agreed date. Called hundreds of times for an update and finally they tell that it is not on stock and further nothing.

Horrible service. The customer service cannot provide any useful information and the employees are nowhere to be found in the store!

Media. Market is always a very interesting super. Always something new, wonderful offer. Can Hours are working to see everything. The staff is remarkably friendly and their professional knowledge is remarkable super good. Advice is perfect and welcome. A great super company.

I was always sent from the box to the wall when I asked if the camera worked

I had to go back twice because they sold me the wrong charger twice. It worked out but it could have been resolved immediately.

Unfortunately after a long time again to the media market. In the audio department employee who knows what he is talking about, unfortunately no audio connected to be able to hear and also not in stock. Yet device of 600. Too bad missed opportunity. On to monitoring, here are 2 employees who don't know anything. The comment if it is not there it is not there . I come for a g7 screen, still around 700. Conclusion, diff is the last time he visited this shop for now, costs 3 parking and lots of annoyance, thought to have a nice weekend with new toys . So just back to bol.com. better result and in stock. 2 nights of sleep and I can let go. Media market strength with sales.

Large store, staff explains things well, they also had what we were looking for and good service. For our top store

Typical MM shop - if you are geek this is where you go instead of lunch break. They cover various areas including TV, audio, domestic home machines (eg. dish washing, etc), computers and peripherals, kitchen appliances, mobiles and so on. Pretty much same stuff as on their web page. It is nice playground to see, feel or test new gadgets. If you decide to order it and pick it up at customer center in this store, be prepared for long wait - it takes ages (same goes for goods being returned). Price wise, they might not be cheapest compared to web, but as physical store and they rather good.

Always something new at the MediaMarkt at a good price. It pays to look up the article with Google because if you find a lower price that will be checked and then awarded. As a result, I have often had a lower price.

Advice was very bad and sales person had no interest in giving any.

This store has really lost it's cool... Unprofessional, uneducated staff... I went to buy a monitor and they had no knowledge of the spec or will to demonstrate it to the customer. When i asked about the return policy (i wanted to test it myself at home to be sure it's right for me since it was a 800 monitor) they told me they changed the return policy recently and i can return it only if i don't open the box (makes any sense?)... So, go to this Media Markt only if you want to gamble and buy expensive things without any professional advice from the staff, no real demonstration and no return policy...

I went to the media market today after contacting by phone about a lost gift card. The customer service lady told me to call the branch directly. After calling the branch I was told that I could redeem my credit with the purchase receipt. In the store I wanted to pay with the receipt. I am told that it is not possible. Manager Dapne couldn't help me either and didn't seem to understand the computer system at all. I wonder if she was the manager. I have never had such bad customer service. They have disappointed me by phone and in the store.

It is a pity that Mediamarkt does not look for the best price with you as a customer. I was interested in buying a macbook, but saw a clear price difference between Mediamarkt and Bol.com. Called Media Market and asked if they could do something for me in this. It was certainly said that there was nothing to be done about this. Too bad, because I went for the other partner, bol.com.
