Huge place for electronic goods. You can buy online and pick it up from this shop. Usually electronic goods here are bit expensive, you will have to look at elsewhere before you decide to buy here. Collection wise its a huge 2 floor campus with almost all kind of electronic appliances

Awful service. Wait for ages for shop assistants to come and answer questions and they don't come. You have to go searching for someone. Then they either can't help or don't know enough. Got sent to 2 more people today to find out the price of an item that had a price reduction sticker but no price only to be told that the price is exactly the same as the full price.
It wouldn't be such an issue if items had more information next to them already.
Will not be going there again.

Nothing but problems when I ordered a gaming console online. They said it was in stock and when I went to collect it I was told it could be a few days. It ended up taking over a week and I cancelled it before then. Then there was a whole debacle where it was mixed up in the system and it appeared as though I had purchased 2 Xboxes back in 2014 before I lived in The Netherlands.

It took around 30 days to finally sort it out and get a refund. Tons of confusion and lack of organisation. Go look on Trustpilot for more problems related to their services. Avoid.

The prices is high compared with US shops, for example the Google home mini price in US is $30, but in this market is 40 Euro

A year and a half ago we bought a TomTom at Media Markt Arena. Specially for the holiday. Unfortunately, the device always needed a lot of time to find a GPS signal and the signal was lost on the way. At the moment, the TomTom has been offered for repair for the third time and I am quite upset about how the service center responds to our complaint . First of all, we always have to wait a long time before we are helped, and then we have to explain several times what is going on, even though we have been in contact by telephone in advance and have already sent emails to explain the problem on request. The employees of the service center invoke the 'procedure' all the time and say they cannot deviate from it. The result is that you as a customer get the feeling that you are not being taken seriously. Whatever you say; it is always dismissed by the words "we follow the procedure". Yesterday I made it clear that I do not want the device back. It is better not to have a route planner than one that keeps falling away. The employee wanted me to sign something so that they could have the TomTom destroyed with my permission. While I was promised by telephone that after two useless repairs, I would finally get my money back. We no longer care about the money, I want to be treated properly as a customer. Also at the service center of the Media Markt.

Incredibly bad service and unkind staff. Waiting for a long time for advice, and then making private calls in between. When we made this known at the service desk, we were told to file a complaint online instead of hearing it immediately and resolving it. I advise you to go to another branch.

At the end of August bought a new television and a harman kardon hifi / sound system (bar, sub and omni 10 speakers. Unfortunately we did not get it configured as 5: 1. After 3 tries by 3 different people it seemed a bad buy, until Azziz Kallach from Harman Kardon came by home. The latter managed to successfully complete the 5: 1 setup within a very short time and clearly explain what we need to know. After a month we can finally enjoy our new purchase. Thanks!

I was a perfect example of an annoying customer who comes to ask for information and buy a product a few minutes before closing. But, at the media market in the Bijlmer I was helped without haste. AMAZING FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF.
I bought a TV that was the same size as myself and they asked if I could lift it like that, I (with my big mouth) said I could, but they said, you know what? Our colleague will pick it up for you and bring it to your home.
THAT COLLEAGUE SHOULD GET A PAY UP, great service
Hence, this media market gets 5 stars from me!

Mediamarkt Amsterdam Arena is de grootste vestiging die ik ken, en daarmee veronderstel ik dat zij de grootste keuze hebben om te bekijken en vergelijken. Het blijkt echter dat mediamarkt nog veel meer producten aanbiedt die enkel online worden aangeboden. Dat is op zich jammer!. Ik vind het omnichannel retail concept van mediamarkt de allergrootste toegevoegde waarde. Ik vraag mij soms wel eens af of men zich daarvan bewust is! Wat ik eigenlijk wil zeggen is dat ik bij mediamarkt wil vergelijken, en thuis wil beslissen. De kern is dat ik mij dan al heb verbonden aan het merk Mediamarkt, en het uiteindelijk ook bij hen wil kopen. De grote kracht van Mediamarkt is ook altijd de duidelijk kenmerkende overgrote beschikbaarheid van adviserende medewerkers geweest. Afgelopen week heb ik die wel volledig gemist bij de vestiging Arena. En dat terwijl bij het winkelen op afspraak drukte nooit de oorzaak zou kunnen zijn geweest.
Sterker nog, ik had bij maken afspraak exact aangegeven waarnaar ik op zoek was. Het was uiteindelijk een online klantreview die mij overhaalde mijn bestelling bij mediamarkt te doen, zonder binding met een vestiging. Mijn boodschap: Mediamarkt blijf bij je succesconcept en laat teugels niet zo los!

What a worthless thing. In the store, the price of a Sony Oled TV was 1,899 euros (written down by store employee). Price on the webshop 2399 euros. 500 euro difference. When you call, you will be hanged first. When you call the second time ... you get a number from a store. Called a few times in the morning between 08:45 - 10:00 am and there will be no answer. Calling the 3rd time you get a lady on the line who does not speak ABN Dutch and cannot help me further. Can't explain where the difference is so great. She cannot call the branch and she does not have a telephone number for Amsterdam Arena. Worthless company
