VIP Boarding Kennel Review

My. Baby Benji loves the crew! They are very caring and alwaus ready to give them undivided attention. I highly recommended!

Our dogs were well taken care of and received lots of love.

Update 2/13/19: I finally spoke with the owner who had been trying to contact my husband and I. She clarified the situation and assured me that my experience was an unfortunate string of misunderstandings, but that my dog had not been placed in a group play session. The girl who told me that was confused due to signage that she misinterpreted outside of my dog's kennel. I appreciate the owner's eagerness to want to rectify the situation and her professionalism over the phone. I am changing my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
Original review: VIP has a nice facility that would probably be fine for any easy going dog. However, I would not recommend boarding a dog with any special needs. They have too many dogs there to keep track of unique requirements. I boarded my German shepherd there for 2 nights. She is dog aggressive, we made this very clear and paid for individual play time for her. So we were surprised and frustrated when we picked her up and the girl asks "did they tell you what happened?" They put our dog in a group play session and reported that it "did not go well". Putting our dog in that situation was unsafe for her and for every other dog and was completely careless. I can also tell from the leftover food they handed me that they mixed the food I provided with something of their own. My dog has a sensitive stomach and I purposefully brought pre-portioned food for her. Why they would take it upon themselves to give her something else is beyond me and also very frustrating.

We were worried about boarding our 2 Norfolk Terriers for the first time. They've always had a home sitter when we've traveled so we weren't sure how they would handle it. They had a wonderful time at VIP. When we picked them up they were clean and happy! They got lots of playtime each day and the socialization was good for them. I will use VIP again!!!

Great personal care of the dogs. I have high cofidence of my dog's well being here. They often do not want to leave!

I can't say enough about this kennel....if my Boxer Scout could talk she would tell you that the people that took care of her for a week were Wonderful!! Even have a play date with a pool and ice cream....This is the Only place I would leave my Dog!!

best place in Loudoun County to board your pets. They also offer doggie day care at a reasonable price that helps your dog develop good socializing skills along with outdoor exercise. My dog loves going there.

This was not what I expected. I brought my dog to be more comfortable with the place and the girl that gave me the tour did the opposite. As soon as I got there, she took him and brought him outside to stay by himself the whole time, which I could hear him crying and barking to get out. The place smelled and the dogs are kept in a crate most of the day, which were all barking nonstop. My dog was so happy when she brought him back in and literally pulled
me back to the car...

It was like having a kid at daycare. Now my 13 yr old daughter wants to know when she can get a job there.

I cannot speak highly enough of VIP. The staff is beyond excellent! I needed to reserve transportation and day care for my puppy due to some training that I needed to attend. I had so many nerves around how my pup would behave when they came to pick him up since I wouldn t be home. VIP assured me that everything would be okay and then followed up without me even asking once he was picked up. Their thoughtfulness and passion for what they do is why we won t look anywhere else! Been going here for years. The staff is beyond amazing. My dog absolutely loves everyone here, and loves coming here. I couldn't ask for a better place to leave my dog. These are the kind of people you want with your pet. Make a reservation, you will be just as impressed as I have been.
