Everyone there is trying their best and shows that they care.

My friend was diagnosed with DCIS and she wanted to get the best care available in the country, so she headed to MD Anderson and got her surgery. They collected the biopsy sample from previous place that primarily diagnosed her with DCIS instead of collecting new sample. After the surgery the doctors didn't find any cancer cell in the muscle/fat removed. DCIS was removed in biopsy at the first place. She then received re-constructive surgery from GREGORY REECE. One of the breasts healed OK however the other (One with DCIS(!)) isn't healing after so many months. So they keep making her travel back and forth from FL to TX instead of helping her out with flexible dates and now suggesting skin grafting because they messed up. And the GREGORY REECE, the reconstructive surgeon is so busy during holidays that he wouldn't even see her in another month. So many things went wrong and the doctors cant even be prosecuted (because they are wise enough to leave no footprints of a mistake and always have an explanation ready). She now is looking for a reconstructive surgeon in FL. I just feel so bad for her and hope this suffering comes to an end and she gets back to normal life soon.

This review is for the garden across from the hospital entrance. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with shade for walking and tables and benches for outdoor seating.

I've been visiting MD Anderson for several months and am always treated well but the valet process is really a pain. Many times, we can't event drive into the area to leave our car because it's so busy. What is the point of having a valet service if customers are not able to use it?

On two occasions we have encountered a valet supervisor or manager named Bobi and she is absolutely horrible to deal with. She is demeaning, rude and overly aggressive with the customers. She was verbally abusive to my mother when we stopped to ask why we couldn't use the valet service and very discourteous to several other patrons.

We come here for treatment and should be treated like a patient...not a problem. I don't know why she's allowed to work in customer service...she clearly has not idea what that is.

I've been a long term patient for many years...18 years, in fact. I have seen it expand and grow... now it covers at least 3 city blocks and is still GROWING! I'm still here from joining their clinical trials... at least 5-7 of them thru the years... well that AND MY LORD HAS CHOSEN TO KEEP ME HERE....but I totally respect and believe in The University of Texas MDAnderson Cancer Center!!!! I do believe that everyone who works here from the receptionists, nurses, phlebotomist, scan and testing technicians, and Dr's...EVERYONE who works here must be an "ANGEL"... it MUST be a requirement.... so sweet, caring and loving....THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!

my mom just started going here and we have been so impressed by the entire staff (what we've seen so far). it has been a much better experience than we ever thought possible, it makes watching her go thru this much easier.

The doctor treated my mother like a case study instead of a patient and refused to give any real advice or treatment options unless we committed 100% to going the full round of treatment in Houston (when we came from Dallas). She ended up dying and they STILL ask us for donations. The nerve!
Worst facility I've ever been to. Complete waste of time and money. They don't care about your life, they only want your money and the ability to research in you so they can increase their fame. Do not support this awful institution.

The very best doctor's, extremely caring and very personable. Will always recommend to everyone.

My mother just began her cancer treatment at MD Anderson and what a total nightmare. David Ramirez should simply not be treating patients. He's extremely unprofessional and does NOT know what the definition of communication is. Also, the individuals that are employed as his 'staff' shame on you for not knowing the difference between right and wrong. Talk about a circus that needs to get it's monkey's in line.

Any cancer center that promotes the ignorance of a so called doctor that believes dog meat helps cure cancer is not worth the dirt on their front door carpet. Dr. Euishin Edmund Kim is supposedly highly respected here! IT is truly laughable but sad because it is such and ignorant backward lie. It has NOW been scientifically proven dog meat has less protein and more fat than chicken, so sad it had to even be proven. Such human arrogance, such human ignorance. Pitiful

Can never get ahold of anyone. I have been contacting them for the past month to get information for a patient of ours and still have nothing. It s at least a 15 minute hold every time I call.
