Nice environment, great service (including bar service), and food with it's on unique spin. For example, there were traditional dishes you would see in an American Mexican restaurant, like tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc. This restaurant put it's on spin on some of the classic, by offering brisket tacos and enchiladas among other unique items. I ordered the poblano chicken enchiladas, which was served with a creamy sauce over the enchiladas. The star of this dish was not the enchiladas though--it was the beans. They were delicious. The enchiladas were only okay.

Tracy either hates African american women or just didnt like us... we can to the bar wasnt greeted after 5 minutes still nothing nothing... 7 minutes the same.. But Jessica came right in with a hello and some chips and took our drink order... i set there and watched Tracy greet familiar faces, hugged a few people... she greeted all 5 people that came in after us... i just went to the Mi Cocina in Highland Park.. and it was a better experience... i didnt want to give her any tip but i know that how they live... She shouldnt be in a job where she has to greet or interact face to face with people... she doent smile or anything... She treated all the men well... idk why i was treated who i was...

Been in DFW a long time. First time to Mi Cocina. Not that good. They got the food out so fast it didn't have time to cook. Ordered enchiladas, the cheese wasnt even melted. Most likely won't be back. If you are looking for chain mexican food try Pappasitos or Uncle Julios.

Excellent customer service and great place for families. Staff is friendly and server ensures you always have your drink refills on time. Their signature drink (Mambo Taxi) is a must to try.

The best place to eat texmex the dishes are cooked with the best ingredients nice place to go with family and have a good time accompanied by excellent food

Loved this restaurant and staff. Food was great, miss the chilaquiles but the tacos and fajitas were awesome. Will definitely be heading back

Great place to eat , margaritas are spot on. My favorite is the strawberry one enough tequila on them.

Food not that good. Had summer enchiladas , not enough sauce, corn tortillas are too thick and corn taste too strong.

Had a wonderful Babyshower hosted by mom and sisters, but it was all thanks to our server, Armando Torrez, and a gentleman by the name of Alex who looked to be in charge. They were extremely attentive, professional, courteous, and it was very stressfree thanks to their wonderful service they provided for our guests and myself and couldn t be more proud and thankful for there work and service. Giving them 5 stars for customer service, their professionalism, patience and they explained everything to us and food was so good. But have to really point out that everything came out wonderful. Thank you.

This place has the most freshest mojitos and food! Sebastian was an amazing server and had us laughing. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Just called in to place an order for pick up and after being on hold for almost 10 minutes, my girlfriend called in and were taking her order when she asked why I was still on hold. They hung up on her, switched to my call, asked who I am and then started talking to me in Spanish while someone in the background was laughing. I responded and they hung up on me too.

When you ve had a long day and don t have the energy to cook and that s what you get in response, it s enough to stop going to a restaurant you ve patronized for 20+ years.

Had Sebastian as our server he is very welcoming with fantastic service. Our dinner was great , we had an amazing dinning experience . Definitely returning back! Ask for Sebas you won t be disappointed

The margaritas are over priced, yet tasty. The food was good, but once again I personally believe there are other options that are far more affordable and with much more flavor.

The restaurant director Rogelio reached out to make a bad experience at another location better. He was beyond friendly and accommodating to my husband and I. Our server, Sergio was amazing as well as the food! We will definitely be back and appreciate the kindness of the staff! Great restaurant!

Always excellent! I could drink the salsa because it's so good. Margaritas are great and there isn't much you can go wrong with in the menu. I had the Rico salad last night and loved it!

The wait was 40 minutes but you can order drinks at the bar. The food was great as well as the service. There was a complementary valet.

I gave this place a two star because yes it's a nice place to dine in but all of my food was cold.My drink had so much ice I was done with a sip. I really had high hopes for this place considering it's very nice on the inside and out. Maybe enchiladas are not there specialty.

The food here is one of the best! I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants and I look for the food to taste authentic and homemade. And this place has it! The people were very nice and very helpful. I would totally recommend this place. If you haven't been here, you need to try it.

I've been working here for 3 weeks now , all the managers are really nice , I've worked at other restaurants in the past but this one by far is the best ... , nice people ,nice managers , & good working environment , no complaint's at all , 5 stars

Everything about this location is atrocious. Three times now we've placed our order online (don't do it - the ordering platform is slow to load, hard to read because of dark text on a dark background, and makes you pay online with no option to pay in store) with a 30-minute lead time. Every time we've arrived, we've ended up waiting another 30 minutes for our order, which is ALWAYS messed up in some way. Ex: chicken instead of beef, billed for a full order when we only ordered half, extra sides missing even though they're itemized on the receipt. It's worth it to drive 15 minutes across town to the MiCo in Highland Park where they're rude. I'd rather pay for a side of condescension that's actually served to me than get billed for extra sour cream that doesn't exist. At least one poor soul asked if we had been helped yet, and apologized to us for the delay - bonus star for her!

My Mi Cocina experience is one for the legend books. My boy Jorge was beyond attentive and made our dinner beyond memorable. He was knowledgeable, timely and just a joy to be around. Our food was just as good. I got the shrimp tacos and they were cooked to perfection. My group all had great reviews and we will without a doubt be coming back.

Long time customer. Family favorite. Personal choice is an order of beef fajita nachos. Very filling. Jalapeno margarita is a nice addition. Not expensive, but not cheap, if you're also having something from the bar. Good value for the experience. Enjoy!
