Business meeting tonite, and my first visit to this location. Ate on the patio, no wait. We had top shelf margaritas and guacamole - excellent as usual. No pressure from the staff. Dinner was chicken fajitas for me and shrimp fajitas for the other guy. Great food, productive meeting. Beautiful weather on a terrific patio. And the other guy paid, so what more could I ask for?

I know that a lot of people LOVE this place. I find it mediocre. I think there are much better mexican food restaurants around Dallas with much more authentic dishes. Mi Cocina has a little bit of a franchise chain feel to me. Just my 2 cents.

Server was really good. Food very tasty and drinks yummy!

Slave labor, I know someone who works there, and they make them work all day with no mandatory lunches over 8 hours and no breaks. Isn't that illegal?

This is a great restaurant!! The food is AMAZING and the service is top quality! I love how the management walks around and engages with the customers. I have been here several times and always take friends and family from out of town when they come to visit.

Enjoyed the TexMex but TBH I really go for the Mambo Taxis.

The brisket tacos were not good at all. The margarita on the rocks was decent.

By far, my favorite restaurant in the Lake Highlands area. Wonderful, tasteful food and such an amazing service is always provided by our favorite server, Sergio Ruiz. His customer service excels all expectations of the Mi Cocina family.

Food was quite good, service started out poorly, but after my wife went to the front to ask why we were not contacted by wait staff, service was much better.

The food was good. The environment was nice. The drinks were great. The customer service was excellent. Michelle B. was the perfect host. It was our first time there and we had to wait to be seated. She made us feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated. Our waiter, his name sounded like Syracuse, was very attentive. Our experience was outstanding. We will be back.

After a long week at work, decided to go out with my family and have dinner outdoors on the patio. Weather was so great, food was great as always. Our server was Sebas, he made our dining experience fantastic. He took great care of us , exceptional service! Ask for Sebas when dining at MIcocina lake highlands

The location is beautifull. The service outstanding and the manager Sebastian makes you feel like a VIP. The food is always great.

Great food and service but no happy hour specials. All other locations do have them but not sure why this one does not.

Bland brisket tacos, dry enchiladas, average salsa, however the soup looked good. The food was not great but sitting outside on the patio was kind of nice. They should have saved some of the money that they put in the fountain then invested in better recipes.

Food and service credit as always. But if you must do the open kitchen remind your team we hear everything from your cook's conversations to the waiter listening to YouTube doing side work. Kinda annoying

Always good food. Great Chips and Salsa right when you sit down. Helpful staff and the food always tastes great. I like the Enchiladas with poblano cream sauce.

My favorite place for spinach enchiladas. Delicious!

Celebrated my daughters graduation on May 3rd, she's in her early 40's and goes to show never too late, had put it on the back burner until her kids grew then mommy time

This restaurant is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a delicious lunch, this is the place that comes right away to my mind. best and all kinds of food and a large list of dishes.generous staff members, and great spirit. Also, the pay is reasonable. I sent my friends to this place with pleasure.

Mi Cocina does it right. The staff has treated us like royality every time we're in there. I like their unique take on Mexican food flavors. I would recommend Mi Concina for any and all occasions.

Was there Friday night with wife and family, Rosa and team made our experience that more amazing, sunset fajitas out of this world, nachos mi tierra amazing. The poblano sauce makes the dish. Thank you Lake Highlands

I didn't like our, I didn't like my enchiladas covered in all that oil, and I didn't like where I sat. The rice was hard, and that's where they lost me. Then it was all salty. They were fast and they complimented my date, that's the only reason why i have then two stars. Maybe they had an off day. Maybe.

Jorge took very good care of me and my party. He was very friendly and it helped a lot that he was fluent in Spanish and English. The chef Alex presented meals excellent. I can t wait to come back next week.

My husband and I were just talking about how you can t ever go wrong with MiCocina. The food is always exceptional, the mombo s never disappoint, and their service is consistently great. Tonight our server Axel was a mind reader...impressive. So go 3 times and tell me you re not wildly satisfied.

Just had lunch with my coworkers here and service was exceptional! Sergio had us in and out and we never felt rushed. Food was bomb! MiCo In lake highlands is officially our go to for lunch break!
