I would like to let every one know ,that the food was excellent.but there customer service was amazing if you ever go there ask for saul .He is a young men ,he will treat you like royalty.That was how my family and i was treated and i have been to a lot of tex mex restaurants ,it is also very clean.So yes i would recommend "Mi Cocina" to every one. P.s i will be going back.

About a week ago my husband and I were celebrating our 6th year anniversary and we weren't sure of where to have dinner. We finally decided on a local restaurant called Mi Cocina. We had never tried Mi Cocina but let me tell you, it was the best decision I have made in my life! At first I wasn t quite sure wether to eat here or not because I m not a fan of trying out new places. But as soon as we walked in we felt welcomed and loved the atmosphere ! We were helped by a young man named Oscar C, he took great care of my husband and I. Oscar was so attentive and patient with us, And his personality made dinner even better! I am really positive I will be back soon, and hopefully Oscar is there!

I ate there on yesterday for lunch and my waitress Nelly was awesome, she made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I explained to her. Everything was good, temperature was great and Nelly was very polite through the whole transaction. I will be returning.
Was here in July and absolutely loved it. Nelly our waitress was phenomenal. Will definitely go back.
Just walked in for a small bite and Mi Cocina definitely earned themselves a lifelong customer. Miguel went above and beyond and made me feel like I was in his kitchen.

I usually don t write reviews but I had notice the person helping with the to go orders been very attentive her name was Helena and she went overboard on taking care of my food she carefully explain what was in the bag and make us feel welcome. We definitely recommend order to go at lunch time . Way to go Helena five star service.
OMG !!!! You guys have the BEST crunchy enchiladas verdes!!!! Melts in my mouth every time!!!!! But the Mambo Taxi is the best drink!!! Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for an authentic experience!!!

Went fo dinner here last night and had Zaid as our waiter. Great service and he was very helpful with the menu simce we normally don't eat very much tex mex food. We'll come back soon and be sure to request him next time.

I ve been coming to this location for years now and the only reason I come is for WILBER. He is the most outstanding waiter I have ever had. He s gone above and beyond each and every time my family and I have visited. My personal recommendation is to request Wilber if you plan to take your family out for a nice dinner. I never write reviews like this, so please trust me when I say that Wilber is THE BEST!!!!

I took my family to dinner because the food is very tasty but the last two times I went they treated us very badly, the food was cold late and still the waiter asked us to put a good comment that the manager was shameless to say hello to almost everyone American customers except for us will not go again

This Mi Cocina location is the best location in Dallas. Preston and Forest is the place to be and Scott is your go to guy. Friendly, fast, professional service. Great food and dining experience as a whole.

This is the first time we ve come back to Mi Cocina since quarantine and it was such a great experience. They cleaned booths between each guest visit, partitions were set up between booths, everyone wore masks and social distancing enforced. Scott was our waiter and he was awesome- made sure our orders were to our liking and was kind, professional and provided above and beyond excellent customer service! Will ask for him as our server again!
