The facility and the grounds are lovely. Rarely do you find disagreeable staff. They have been helpful and restful whenever we go. Whether just for the evening or staying the night. Easy to spend a whole day here drinking or relaxing or both!

Disneyland for grown-ups!! Amazing pub food, delicious hard ciders and beers, gigantic heated soaking pool, spa, golf, winery, distillery, comfy relaxed atmosphere...what's not to love about this place? The hostels are great for a guys or girls night...the beds are very affordable and if you book far enough in advance you can basically reserve the whole room (depending on the size of your group). To eat, you must try the Cajun tots. If you like milkshakes, ask for a Terminator milkshake (chocolate milkshake with their house stout ale - so good)! For cocktails, it's tough to beat the green tea mojito served at the soaking pool bar or the maple stone sour at the distillery.

One of my favorite locations!

McMenamins Egdefield has more than enough to do and see as well as eat and drink.

Golf? Check. Winery? Check. Hotel? Check. Soaking pool and full service spa? Check. Oh and a concert venue to boot!

MUST SEE. Just go already! (And get some Cajun tots and a Ruby)

Great Burgers! We didn't stay the night but enjoyed lunch at their pub and walked around their beautiful grounds. The main reason we were here we're to get stamps in our Mcmenamins passports

A fabulous place to stay overnight. Good food at the Black Rabbit. Lots of fun evening things to do, including singers and game rooms. Various bars and a excellent soaking pool and spa. Perfect for a "staycation" business or other special event.

Great place for drinks and bar hopping & photo ops. Also definitely recommend the Riesling, which is fortunately not as sweet as most RIeslings, but has a great fruity fresh taste. The only negative aspect we noticed was the somewhat stupid rule that you cannot open a bottle you buy there, on the McMenamins grounds, unless you buy it at the bar. The bottle cost $16 at the gift shop and $24 at the bar, so yeah.

Of course this was the first building they ever renovated and turned into their Flagship. There multiple things to do besides eating, drinking, and sleeping. During the late Fall, Winter, and Spring month there isn't that much to do, but during the Summer month there are a lot of things to do. They have a lot of venues going on outside. Check their web side and make your reservations accordingly. Enjoy your stay.

I love this place I've spent many suer nights here for years it's always been a hit or miss though. Even as I am sitting here in the restaurant I have been ignored by the bartender and in the past had to wait for 20 minutes until someone even recognized my table.

Attended a wedding here. Large grounds, give yourself some extra time to wander around. Check out the vegetable garden. All in all I'd say this is a very nice place to host an event or just go to drink some beers.

Went to see a concert. Concert parking was a little ways down the street from the hotel parking lot and was clearly marked with signs and efficienly managed by staff. There were many people in line, but they had adequate staff telling us where to go and directing admission. Did not love being screened with a wand and having my bag checked, but I guess that's typical. Bathrooms were porta-potties, but there were a LOT of them, so I never had to wait, even when they were bombarded after the show and were well maintained. The trend here is that the event was managed incredibly efficiently at every turn. Thank sound was fine for the ampetheater setting, and the lighting/effects we're cool. My only nit is that I wish the beer/food vendors would've taken cards. There were ATMs on site, but those of us using credit were out of luck. Not a night ruiner by any means, just a minor annoyance. Get there early enough to grab drinks inside if you don't have cash (but know they won't let you bring those drinks into the venue, so drink up). Do recommend seeing shows here. Low key and pleasant experience overall.

We ate outside because we have a dog. We asked for the rice bowl but they said those are only served inside. Later, when the waiter came back we asked if there was any way we could get the rice bowl and he said..."Sure, the customer is always right." We thoroughly enjoyed it.

To visit is to love it! An adults playground! No need to venture into Portland, Edgefield had all the entertainment you need! Don't miss a summer concert on the lawn! Fabulous music venue!

I was attending a private event. The facility was fine - a little "tired". We were in Blackberry Hall. The food was excellent, with great service. Signs on the grounds were poor for a place with so much happening. Since I parked well down the hill from the venue, I was glad to have a good flashlight so I could find my way back. The pathways and roads are dark!

Walked around the greens before lunch, then was given the most enjoyable tour of the grounds and buildings by the lovely Miss Thursday. She made our experience wonderfully informative. She's a true gem.
Thank you,
Phil & Laura

Very limited parking. Field is flat (not an amphitheater) and no one was sitting by the end of the concert. Surprisingly awesome lineup this year though including Cake, Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Diana Krall.

We had a wonderful time. It was my wife's company's annual golf tourney. It was a great outing. The beer, as always, was exceptional. Beautiful grounds and buildings. The gardens were a real nice surprise.

We have been coming here for over twenty years plus. I understand they have been hit with covid and they are struggling. But to actually charge per stamp now for their passport is such a dirt ball move. We will no longer visit any of their places and I will encourage anyone not to visit them or give them any of their business. Look I get it you guys are hurting. But don t penalize the people that love going there because you guys didn t plan properly with your profits. So ashamed of you

McMenamins Edgefield is a unique experience that I was blessed to share with friends and family. They have great food with many places to get food and alcohol on site. They make a lot of their alcohol on site. All the staff were very professional and helpful. The soaking pool is the best one I've seen at a McMenamins so far. Massive in size and perfect temperature to just relax. I'll definitely return there in the near future.

Black Rabbit Restaurant is a gem. Combines classy-cosy-funky in the best McMenamins tradition, and the food is exquisite. Attentive and helpful, cheerful staff, even for a late evening sitting.

Formerly a Poor farm (place for the poor), this setup is very unique. Lots of eating+ drinking areas. A beautiful hotel and grounds, winery, gardens even a golf course. There is a nice NW themed restaurant and a lot of places to eat bar foods too. There are often lubr shows so you may need to park way way out in a field but at least the parking is free. Service was friendly. Wine was ok. I don't drink much beer but people liked it. Entertainment was entertaining. What more to say.

The most unique venue I've ever been to. Tons of things to do outside and inside with many bars, restaurants, events, concerts, and recreational activities. Perfect spot to go on a nice day.

It's a good place to relax and have dinner, as long as you aren't in any particular hurry. Or mind overpriced pub fare. The ambiance balances things out though, as does being able to buy and smoke a cigar in the same room.
