Amazing vacation with my husband and 10 month old at what I ve endearingly termed Disneyland for adults aka Edgefield.

If you stay, don t forget to pack flip flops and enjoy the soaking pool. We ordered food to go at the Pub and then enjoyed it in our room to skip the weekend crowd wait for a table.

If nothing else, the atmosphere is always something to behold when you visit Edgefield. We were out celebrating, and while we grabbed a drink at the bar to wait for our table to open up; which was suppose to be 15 minutes and was only about five, we got to enjoy the service at the bar as well. All in all, if you're not in a hurry, and simply enjoy the time spent, Edgefield is always an experience worth having.

Quirky, weird and really charming. The bathrooms need more cleaning than they are receiving. It also doesnt help that they are trying to keep them original. I think it would be okay to break character and modernize the bathrooms.

Love the atmosphere and the drinks. Food could be either just a little bit better or cost just a little bit less. (Except for the Cajun Tots; they are perfect.) Always fun to walk to the different bars.

This is a beautiful venue however it doesn't come without a price. The way that this event manages its parking is atrocious. People are funneled in through one lane. Getting out of this Venue is even more painful than getting into this venue. I suppose the idea is to be as painfully slow as possible getting people out so that people will come into their restaurants and bars and order food and drink however you can't even do that because they're are people overflowing out of every small business on the property. I left painfully slowly and starving. It almost wasn't worth it just because of all the stress getting in and out of this place. I suggest bringing your own food and leaving it in your car so that you're at least not starving while you're there. Good luck! You'll need it!

The wireless internet connectivity here SUCKS. The phone connection is also bad. It is like living in a digital desert. NO FUN AT ALL. The only place the internet works in in the hotel office. How fun to sit in the busy office all day and all night just to use the internet - NOT!

Went out to Edgefield on a beautiful afternoon and grabbed drinks with a friend. We walked around the grounds, enjoyed the sun, and just hung out. Had dinner with the family after and it was a great place for the kids to run around. Definitely going back again!

I Love this place. I travel all over the USA and it is in the top 10% of places I like. My only suggestion is get rid of the Canola oil and upgrade your ingestible oiks to something organic as much as possible.

I have been to two concerts at this venue now. I've seen Goo Goo Dolls with Collective Soul and Jackson Browne. Both concerts were amazing, and the venue is a big part of that. The place is absolutely beautiful. The food selection is good, and on part with the standard price you would expect to pay. I would avoid the chicken bento in the future as it was really not very good and was supper small for about $13. The pizza and the hotdogs and chilidogs were very good, they also have a baked potato that is tasty.

When the weather is very warm they setup a spray tent that can completely soak you down and cool you off, I really liked this idea.

One thing I wish I had known earlier was that you can skip the huge line if you have reserved seating. This is on the website and is new for 2018. However, there was no sign or any indication of where you go or enter if you have reserved seating. I'm sure they will rectify this in the future, it's a very nice benefit.

Me and my family we to McMenamins for dinner Friday night, it was starting to get busy but my party of 5 was seated in about 15 minutes. We love the cajin tots and the terminator beer. This is a relaxed atmosphere with great service.

We reserved for 16 to 18 people, i expressly stated that we wanted to sit together. Upon arriving we were split up into two groups of tables. I asked if we could pull a table or two together. Manager stated "no, it does not allow good flow for servers" Bad enough, but he was obstinate. Our server was very good, food was average.

We were told this was a pet friendly place. Arrived and there was no place to eat breakfast with our pet in tow!! Even out on the patio. Then no pets in the bars, the winery and a 200 dollar fine if they make any noise in the room while unattended. So part of us could sit outside with the dog while part of use ate. Oh, did I say this was a 47th anniversary trip!! Where we could not eat or spend time together and we were assured this was PET Friendly! DO NOT BELIEVE IT!

While road tripping it to Seattle from Portland, we opted to stay at Edgefield versus airbnb or a branded hotel, and couldn't be happier with our decision. Edgefield provided a unique hotel experience with in-house winery, brewery, restaurants, pubs and many more. We had fun exploring the hotel and the spa was a major plus. Only downside is that some of the rooms can be loud with little privacy. We changed our first room as we found it too loud - it was located near the stairs.

We stayed 2 nights and had such a great experience! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is old so don't expect fancy but it's full of charm and the grounds are amazing. It's a great little escape during Covid-19, the bars and food were awesome!

Out of all the unique McMenamins, this is one of my favorite favorites. The offerings can easily make a day pass so quickly, with the saltwater hot pool, spectacular foliage, the vineyards, brewery, distillery, winery, live music, bar games, artwork, theater, golf course, fireplaces, interesting peoples..so much fun to be had.

Went to McMenamins in Edgefield for a wedding. The grounds are nice and they have a Disney-esque fake town inside a real town feel. Parking is free. Would be a 5 star experience if I wasnt at a wedding. I would give 5 stars were it not for the following:
- A garbage man was wheeling barrels across a gravel parking lot while vows were being read. It was really distracting. You'd expect coordination from nuts to bolts when a wedding is occurring. "Between these hours don't do this here, don't do that at this time. Don't wheel garbage out behind the reception area during the quiet vows." It wasn't my wedding but even as a spectator i was angry on behalf of the wedding party.
- The area our wedding was in was right next to a parking lot. It's kind of wedged in there. Rest of the facilities were nice.

I love this place! They keep the grounds really clean and there are so many nooks and crannies to explore. My son stayed in the men's hostel once and found it nice and very affordable. The food is good and the servers are very friendly. Warning...it gets a bit buzy on the weekend in the summer so be patient and enjoy the atmosphere!

Great rooms and lots of entertainment available on site. Always a fan of the food and drinks at the different restaurant/bars. Spa and soaking pool were very relaxing. Staff is always courteous, attentive, and know how to get things done.

My husband and I are in Boring, Oregon visiting friends for our 30th anniversary and my friend suggested we go there for appetizers and drinks. The food, drinks and service were excellent and everyone was so friendly. We walked around the grounds and looked around and I felt like I was in another world, the small quaint pubs were so cozy and all the little nooks and crannies of the place were so inviting and each one had its own charm, they even let you bring your dogs to stay with you. I would definitely stay there the next time we are in town and tell all my friends about it.

Went to eat the Saturday before Valentine's and the place was super busy, no surprise there. Still, it took about three hours between placing our name on the waitlist to finally paying the bill. Food was mediocre as well and the waiter rarely checked on us. Not the usual service that we've gotten at McMenamins before, but I'll attribute it to the holiday weekend and try again some other time.

It's a hotel, so you know, you could stay here if you want, but you don't have to. They have a pretty good whiskey list. They make beer and wine here. They have a way-spendy restaurant, that has their regular bar booths, but they cover them with white tableloths so you know it is futzy.
