My favorite place on the East side of Oregon, have both indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. Love the beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages that are featured monthly. I love the atmosphere, the grounds spreads for miles with beautiful green vegetation....I can go forever about this place

We went for a birthday dinner. Had dinner, drinks, and dessert. Everything was excellent, carolers came by our table which our kid loved. Very memorable night, everything was perfect! I recommend the wild boar and kolsch.

Good visit today. I took 15 seniors out for lunch and to wander the grounds. The staff was very accommodating. Parking was really difficult since I was in a large bus. Very limited parking for large rugs, the field was closed and the front desk gave little assistance to help me.

We were there for a catered brunch. While the location was beautiful, the food was lack luster. My husband and I both has the smoked salmon eggs benedict, and it had no flavor beyond just salmon. The hollandaise was just flavorless goop on top. I will say the bacon that was on the kids dish was delicious, but the rest was meh. The servers were helpful, and attentive. And the grounds were awesome to stroll in. I might go back just to visit the spa but avoid restaurants.

Edgefield is a wonderful, fun place! My husband and I stayed overnight in a king with a private bathroom. The soaking salt water pool (heated) was in a beautiful setting and allowed you to bring drinks into it from the nearby bar. There's also a spa located right next to the pool. The Black Rabbit restaurant was exquisite--fancy and somewhat pricey, but it was an elegant experience. If you are looking for the traditional pub food that McMenammins restaurants have, there are several pubs and bars that serve burgers and other items. There's a beautiful garden, and a fun glass blowing demonstration and shop. We didn't have time to explore everything, but will be back for more!

O.....M.....GOSH!!!! do very little research into this place and you will fall in love with it. There is truly something for everyone (unless you just wanna keep sitting on your lazy a$$ and slowly killing yourself). There are several different places to eat, tons of attractions (like glass blowing, tours, wine, beer, or spirit tastings) and a LOT of history to learn about in a fun, happy environment. You owe it to yourself to see this amazing bit of history and culture (and seriously, get up and move around a bit, dang!).

Loved staying here! Lots to see and do on the property, including lots of places to eat, a large soaking pool (basically a giant tropical hot tub with a pool side bar), a movie theater, a golf course, a winery, a distillery, and lastly lots of beautiful gardens to walk around. We went on a day without any big events so it was quiet and wonderful. King size bed was very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are shared but there are multiple bathrooms on each floor and you have your own room with a door inside the lounge. It's not like a tiny shower stall or anything like that. No AC in the rooms so on a hot day it might be a bit uncomfortable, but we just opened the windows at night and a box fan was already on in the room. Great deal for the price. 15 mins outside of Portland or 15 mins away from hiking multnomah falls. Will definitely be staying here again, if only just to visit the giant warm pool surrounded by plants.

One of my favorite McMenamins locations. This one has it all. The pub, the tiny bar, the fancy restaurant, a brewery, winery, distillery, the little red shed cigar house and much more. You can easily spend an entire day here.

What isn't to like about this place!! It's got a lot of variety of entertainment all in walking distance of each other at this beautiful property. They have a pub house with a movie theater where you can enjoy delicious pub style food with a beer from their own in house brewery or any cocktail of your choice and all while watching a featured film, my favorite brew is the Ruby. Their historic hotel is lovely, has a very interesting history, is very well managed and is home to the "Black Rabbit", an upscale restaurant with a wonderful menu and amazing fresh quality food. You can grab a refreshment of your choice and walk around and explore the beautiful grounds, wine vineyard, herb gardens where they grow their own herbs used in preparing their amazing variety of foods in all their eateries on the grounds, visit the local glass blowers and watch them create their amazing art pieces and purchase something if it catches your eye or visit their spa and relax and rejuvenate. They also have a outdoor concert venue where you can enjoy music from a variety of genres, I love classic rock and have seen Heart there and Steve Miller plays there often. I love this place and highly recommend you visit and experience it for yourself!

Attended my first Edgefield concert. The outdoor venue affords good views from most everywhere on the sloped lawn. Plenty of food, drink, and porta-potty availability, although at almost double the prices you will find at the Edgefield pubs outside the concert fencing.

Superior food, drink, and atmosphere, all come together to make this a weekend getaway. Once you park, everything you need is available. Gentle ambience makes this like a petting zoo for the happily drunken.

I was here for my birthday and to get my passport stamps. We got to enjoy all the great places on the property they have to offer. We had lunch and many drinks from many bars. All the staff was very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

This place is fantastic. Multiple bars, multiple restaurants, day spa, pool, 18 hole chip and put golf course, you can watch them blow glass and make art out of hot glass. They have an outdoor auditorium for concerts and festivals. They host weddings and other special events. They also have a hotel. If you're in the Gresham/ Troutdale area you have to stop by and check this place out.

Vegan menu was very limited. Bean and seed burger was soggy and not good. Vegan soup excellent. Server took the burger off the tab and comped our fries. Excellent service, wish the food was as good.

We went to the Avett Brothers show. As of the other two shows I have seen at Edgefield it was over booked and the space was extremely tight. We got there two hours before the doors opened and the line was already around the prison.
The hotel is very nice, and looks amazing. My experience with the staff at Edgefield is terrible. We stayed there may times on off weekends and busy weekends. There is always one or two team members that make it a bad experience.
I don't drink alcohol but i do enjoy the property, experience, and all the magic Mcmenamins offers to there customers. Its unfair that some bartenders and hotel staff at edgefield don't care about you or the vision of Mcmenamins.
We did just stay in September on a Saturday through Monday and we had an amazing experience no bad staff this go around. I say they earned a 5 star rating this weekend. When we go again next time and its as good as this one I will adjust my rating to 5 stars.
