We went to Black Rabbit for breakfast. The coffee was great and the breakfast too. Everyone was pleased with the choices and what they got. Service was great, even with a full restaurant.

Great place for a day of fun. Variety of restaurants, bars, game room, and the beautiful grounds for walking around...also, golf and movies, hotel...so much to do here. The passports are so much fun.

Service very slow. Bartenders in lower game room very overwhelmed bad attention. We made reservations. When we got there they said they were sorry but cancelled our party of 10. Wont be back.

I've been to two concerts here. The first one was a great experience. My brother even dropped his shirt he bought while walking back to the car and they found it and shipped it to Everett for him. The second time was still good, but a little disappointing because the city has now passed a law against how long the bands can play which led to a shorter concert. When you're driving 4 hours to the venue the last thing you want is the concert to be cut short at 9:30pm.

Great place as long as you don't mind paying for broken car windows. We were robbed the night we arrived. The manager said "that never happens". An employee said it has happened three times since he started the previous month. The police officer said he's there all the time. McMenamins insurance company said they aren't responsible for paying for any of it ($180 to fix the window, not sure the cost of the random stuff taken from inside like chargers, pens, and a phone holder). Oh, one other note... there are cameras in the parking lot but they apparently don't actually point at the vehicles. This is a very bad area - though I love McMenamins in general I don't recommend staying at this property. Find one in a lower crime area.

Always great seasonal drinks on rotation, and the food is spectacular. The premises is INSANELY beautiful. On this last visit, I discovered the coffee beans for sale in the gift shop. Seriously, Edgefield has everything, and it's all great. Highly recommended

My coworkers and I played a game of golf after eating at the power house, which had delicious food. Having never played golf before, the 20-hole course was a great introduction to the game due to the short distances. An employee in a golf cart selling beer and cider kept myself and my coworkers fueled throughout the game. One group member even got a hole in one on one of the last few holes! It was a very fun time.

Edgefield is a clean, well maintained place with friendly staff and gorgeous grounds. I was there for a concert and had a great time, water stations and facilities were easy to find and use. The artist was of course a blast, but even of ah doesn't come back to Edgefield soon I definitely will.

McMenamins Edgefield has amazing food, drinks, and desserts. It's also a great place to walk around and enjoy the natural beauty of the gorge. A perfect date spot. I proposed to the love of my life here. It will always have a special place in my heart.

This McMenamins is more of a compound, or a small town, than a restaurant. I've come here for shows, weddings, retirement parties, golf and just food. And each of those times I remember distinctly and positively.

Historic, quirky and sprawling campus filled with pubs, cigar huts, theatre, music, mini golf, glass blowing shop, spa, basement pool halls and one of the most unique liquor licenses ever concieved. You can take your drink almost anywhere on the 80+ acre campus, and there's probably a dozen different places to order another one.

Breakfast and brunch at the Black Rabbit Restaurant located on campus is among the best the Portland area has to offer.

The only negatives are the narrow roads and crowded parking.

Stopped in for drinks while on a roadtrip because a friend recommended the place. It was so interesting to see the art and history, and we loved being able to check out the various tiny bars and sipping on beer between bars.

Many different areas to eat and drink. Good food and drinks. On the down side, they're always very busy and seem to have a hard time keeping up with the crowds. If you want to eat, you might have a long wait, but you can always grab a drink.

We have long loved edgefield for the boho chic feel of the hotel and the black rabbit restaurant, but only recently I experienced an outdoor concert (thundercat--ho! and sweatshirt and .paak, SWEET lineup!!!) The venue easily accommodates a sizeable crowd but feels completely intimate tucked amongst the trees. Typically inflated prices on beer ($7/can of ranier, fer realz?!?)

It was raining, granted, but the band was too loud, it was hard to find seating we could stay dry in and talk to our friends. The tater tots and sweet potato fries were quite good.

We usually love this place but we put our name in for a table and they said it would be an hour. OK, we re willing. We got our table 90 minutes later and then our waiter informed us that it would be another hour or so before our food would be ready. That would have been nice to know at 6:30 after a 7 mile hike and 9 hours since breakfast. At 8:00 we decided to go to five guys and will probably not go there again.

We went to the breakfast with Santa event for the 4th year in a row. This year there were more people at the event. It was hard to navigate between tables. Also we were sort of rushed out so they could set up for the next round of people. I'm not convinced it was worth the money this year.

Been coming here for 20 years. Stay at the hostel when you're young, stay in the hotel when you have that special someone. Great music, beer, golf and old school employees. Stay away when it's busy or don't complain.

First time this has happened to us. Our waitress forgot to put in our order. After about 35 minutes we asked when our order might be coming and the waitress sheepishly admitted she had forgotten to put the order in. After she put in the order the manager came over and apologized and asked if there was anything he could do for us. It would have been more appropriate to have told us that he wanted to apologize and that there would be no charge for our dinners or something more affirmative. I had to suggest that it would be nice if he would comp at least a couple of our meals and so he kindly did not charge us for two of our four meals. The food was good when it finally arrived but by that point we were so tired and had waited so long that even a good meal could not completely salvage our experience.
