I love it here! I have never stayed at a place like this. I didn't even mind sharing a bathroom (shower), they were clean and you hardly saw anyone. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, this is it! Try the sunrise/sunset latte at the gift shop, it's the bomb. The wine is good and so was the pizza!!! Must go! It was perfect for visiting water falls near by.

It was awesome! Saw Josh Groban in concert, outside. Beautiful setting, great weather and wonderful people/atmosphere! 5 Stars

Beautiful grounds, creative drinks, awesome concept, amazing salt soak, reasonable rate, delicious food, friendly staff, and great for all ages.

My wife and I love this place; we have spent many date nights and overnight anniversary weekends here. The food is always great, and the beer and wine are superb (Black Rabbit Porter is my personal favorite, and my wife loves the Fireside LBV Zinfandel). The buildings are full of character, and the surroundings are natural and magical at the same time.

The people who recommended Edgefield to us had trouble describing their experience with it. Now that we've been there, we can understand why. It's a wholly unique experience, from the artwork and details covering every possible surface in the main building, to the incredible flora covering the grounds, and the very helpful staff. The food, drinks, and service at each restaurant, bar, or the theatre were all exceptional. We were lucky enough to get hour long massages at Ruby's spa as well, and we couldn't have been more relaxed. Edgefield is wonderful.

Edgefield is a wonderland of booze and fun which is unmatched in the Pacific Northwest West. Literally better than Disney Land.

While McMenamins is not known for excellent service, it's the special charm that always brings me back. Their food and drinks are consistently good. Price is reasonable. Always a fun place to visit with lots to do and see.

I stayed at Edgefield overnight with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time collecting stamps to fill our passport while getting amazing food and drink along the way. The rooms usually don't have a bathroom in them, but some of them have half baths (room 219). The bathrooms are communal and on every floor and gave a nice dorm style experience. The soaking pool was amazing and extremely relaxing even in the winter months. Would recommend this stay to any couple or group of friends looking for a nice getaway.

One of my favorite McMenamins properties. So many options! I've stayed here a time or two and the rooms are always clean and beautiful. The spa is my absolute favorite part. And the black rabbit restaurant is definitely worth hitting up!

Played some golf. Drank some beer. Always a great Sunday.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This place is phenomenal. The staff is helpful and kind, there are options fitting everyone's budget and cravings. The entire property is gorgeous.

I drove to this place from Eugene for a wedding and only went into one of the banquet rooms for the reception. Just driving into this place and walking on the grounds to the reception area was a nice experience. It has a warmth and old world charm that envelops and soothes you the minute you drive up the lane onto the property.
There are many structures throughout the property, a restaurant, a bar, the hotel etc., that have assimilated with the surrounding foilage and conifers. The journey you take through the landscape to the different establishments is calming and gives you a sense of connectedness to the entire area. So, I guess you could just say, 'It was cool'

I attended my first event at Edgefield and it won't be my last. I was very impressed with the venue. A lot of other locations could learn from this example. They let people in earlier. As a result the merch table, drinks and food all had reasonable lines. The location is beautiful. I want to come down and walk the grounds and just explore. Getting out was literally the only challenge and the staff did a good job of directing. Employees were friendly and prices very reasonable. Totally recommend.

Great place to sled in the field. Great brew great food and wine. Cocktails are also served with perfection

Great place for a wedding and the party guests to stay as well. Quite crowded most of the time. On-site makeup and hair, massage, nail salon; but book any of these well in advance.

Great time at the Craft show. The berry cider was excellent

Love black rabbit bar food. We have hamburger and steak. Also we split it so we can try both. Service was amazing. We went to red shed and loved it . It's looks like a hobbit house. Also had fresh juice in the spa bar.

The seared tuna is great, service is good, the entire restaurant area/campus is very walk friendly scenic area.

I came to attend a wedding, and was very impressed by the grounds. The room we had was extremely small, with only 1 bed. However, this is likely due to poor planning on the part of the groom. The grounds were beautiful, and there were lots of activities and bars. It was a beautiful wedding, and the event staff there was fantastic. I would love to go back as an overnight guest for a vacation.

Good lunch menu. Our server was attentive and prompt. This place has such a lovely atmosphere. Fun to walk around it a bit, highlight was watching the glass blowers at work in their workshop

This only applies to the nice outdoor seating by the water tower. People with dogs kept them leashed and well controlled, so no issues there. Service was extremely slow. Food was very good and worth the wait.

The host was incredibly kind and helpful, but unfortunately an hour long wait was way too long. Meanwhile, very few people are in black rabbit. But we had a toddler with us and wanted burgers, so black rabbit wasn't a good option. Besides, last time we went to black rabbit the vegans in the group struggled to find anything of substance that was enjoyable to eat. They could eat leaves and this yucky ravioli that was a very small portion (and that's coming from someone with a relatively very small appetite) and it was overpriced. Needless to say, we didn't stick around since there was no appropriate place to eat within a reasonable time.

We had a wine tasting here. The experience was great. We don't know anything about wine, so they were very helpful when choosing things we would like to try.

Went to Edgefield to golf on the par-3 course. My first time there and the grounds were incredible! enjoyed a drink at the course pub after 20 holes and stayed for dinner afterwards. An incredible spot

Great place to grab a drink and wall around the enormous area they have to offer. I brought my dog and grabbed a bite to eat at the power house, sat outside and noticed there was fellow dog owners enjoying their food with their companion. Great place all around, good vibes and good beer!

I attended a concert, the venue was great, the grass was plush, the beers were overpriced, and I enjoyed my time.

It's pretty much impossible to not have a good time at any of the McMenamin's properties. Really great food at all the restaurants and there's an excellent selection of beer, wine and spirits all made on site at available at any of the bars. The only small complaint have is the lack of your own bathroom in your room. But, I knew that when I booked the room. It just turned out to be more inconvenient than I anticipated, especially in the middle of a global pandemic. That being said, 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing place. Tons of choices for drinks and food and activity.

The room was plenty big, but really only had a bed and a sofa. Bathrooms are shared, and there are no other amenities in the rooms. Service is average. The soaking pool is amazing, and the reason to stay there.

Excellent service, beautiful venue. Delicious food and fantastic beer and spirits.

Parking was super busy at lunchtime, but plenty of room at the different eateries so that was good. Navigating the little roads to get out can get confusing, so drive slow and watch for lost folk. :)

I met up with a few friends for breakfast at Black Rabbit. Service was quick, helpful, and courteous. All our food was delicious and served promptly. I never felt rushed to order, eat, or leave.

We attended a baby shower in a banquet hall. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The salad bar was decent. The chowder was super yummy. I loved all the different trees and plants outside.

Quirky place, full of nooks and crannies to explore. We got married here, and had many people fly in from out of town. Many of them commented on how much they liked the venue.

This place is so fun! Visited for the first time on Saturday with a group of girlfriends in town for a Bachelorette weekend and had such a great time. We had brunch at Black Rabbit, which was delicious. We then made our way around the property stopping at the Distillery bar, Tea House bar and Little Red Shed. I loved that we were able to walk around with our drinks, service was great at each place. I would totally love to stay here next time i'm in Portland or just to bring friends for a day of fun.

After having such a great experience this past summer, my same group of friends decided to reserve rooms to celebrate a birthday this past weekend. We booked 4 rooms, all were different in size, location and theme. My room was a double queen located on the first floor near the Black Rabbit Bar and one of the side entrances/exits. While our room was large and spacious, we had the unfortunate pleasure of hearing the door open and slam shut at all hours of the night and hear groups of people talking on the balcony outside our window at all hours. I understand the building is very old, so you literally hear everything that goes on outside. Another one of our friends staying in a different room heard her neighbors be intimate literally all night long, it was so loud it sounded like it was happening in their room.

We also noticed inconsistencies with customer service and just service in general at the various bars/pubs/restaurants. We would have awesome servers and bartenders in one place and then we would have servers/bartenders who were pretty unfriendly, seemed unmotivated and just slow service in general.

I loved the food and the happy hour at the Black Rabbit bar/restaurant, and the Power station pub had pretty good food. However, I wasn't a big fan of their sandwiches/wraps/pizza's offered at the pool hall and distillery bar. A large pizza is $30 and lacks flavor.

Gorgeous location with small little surprises throughout the property. There is truly something for everyone here.

The worst parking ever.
Learn about exits. Your people are the dumbest parking i have ever seen. Most ignorant parking, it really takes you an hour to get these people out? What happens if a car explodes, or catches on fire?

We had brunch at the Black Rabbit restaurant on site. It was mediocre this time. Had the Eggs Florentine Benedict. The poach on the egg could probably have been 1 minute less. The potatoes were small red potatoes that seemed boiled and seasoned. If the hit the grill at all it was minimal. The seasoning was basic season salt. It was ok but not the best meal have eaten at any Mcmenamins.

Attended a wedding, had a good time. Place looked great, major party vibe.

I love this place so much that I went here for my birthday. That's special for me. :-)

Still one of our favorite Mcmenamin's facilities. Enjoy the pub or a restaurant, and don't forget the gift shop.
