I have nothing but great things to say about a Doreen and the staff at McLaughlin Chevy. This is my 4th business purchase in 4 years and each time it's a joy to do business with them. In fact it gets easier! There is no force, no trickery, no shady behind the scenes nonsense. They tell you how it is upfront and let YOU make the decision. My parents and siblings have bought personal vehicles from McLaughlin, and I have and will continue to buy my company vehicles from them. During our most recent vehicle purchase we had several frustrating experiences at other dealerships. McLaughlin was our last stop out of four dealerships when we were looking for a new Colorado, and we were not hopeful that something was going to get done based upon our experience at the other three dealerships. However, Doreen, Dave, and Keith provided a truly amazing experience. They were empathetic to our situation and really treated us like family. We at no point experienced the typical pressure of a car dealership and they were able to get us into a vehicle with all the options we wanted at a price we were comfortable with. Thank you again for a great experience!

Received the Monte Carlo mail scammer and fortunately did some digging before assuming we "won" $5,000. What a sleezy way to get people to your dealership.

When we looked online to learn more about your business, we saw wildly unprofessional responses to negative reviews. Another red flag for those looking for a pleasant car-buying experience.

If you choose foolish methods to obtain new customers, don't be upset when people get angry.

Maybe honesty and genuine customer service is the trick?

I am so pleased with the service, cost, explanations & cleanliness of this dealership that I plan to have all my service completed there as well as consideration for future Chevrolet purchases. The cashier staff are also very pleasant and helpful to work with. This Portland area dealership is light-years ahead of the others in this area in terms of Customer Service. Money Carlo scam really? I've bought cars had service and buy parts here regularly. Service is always a bit lackluster. I am going to find somewhere else now. Probably isn't going to be any better or worse, but I thought I could count on the local neighborhood Chevy dealer to not be as trashy as to send my wife a scam in the mail. Just goes to show how terrible dealers and their sales teams are nowadays.

Clean building, quick turnaround, fair negotiation...

Clean building, quick turnaround, fair negotiation. David took an extra mile to e-mail me registration so that I did not have to travel 40 miles back and forth to get it. I also appreciate that they did not make me to go through and deny all of the annoying options like extended warranty etc. I was just asked if I want to learn about all these options and simply "no" was enough. Overall I spent 2 hours to leave on new truck, which is pretty impressive for the appointment made on short notice.

Worst experience ever. Unprofessional.
Walked in and was ignored. Lady at front desk on personal call; ignore. Salespeople heads down and looking a computers; ignore. Guy in office 2nd from left; ignore. Not to mention rude and extremely unprofessional; acts like a bother to talk to you. Guy 3rd from left; looked up and then head down texting; ignore. Guy in 3rd office; too busy trying to figure out how to get out office not to be seen and go have a cig; ignore. Finally guy in 2nd office got up and said "being helped" (that was proper English), said "no" and he rudely flagged a salesperson and then asked "if buying today?". Said "ya from another dealer" and walked out. Stay clear. Had to put a star to post, but it should be a negative star times 100!

My battery died. I called McLaughlin's told them AAA was on the way to jumpstart my car and I would be there in a half hour for a battery replacement. As usual they were ready for me, took care of the problem and I was on my way in no time at all. Best service department on the planet.

Had a engine light come on and called for service....

Had a engine light come on and called for service. Was asked it it was running ok and it was. Made an appointment for a few days later. But told to call if I had problems. I had some problems and was told to bring it as soon as I could. Where it was a few days before Thanksgiving, I knew I might have to wait a bit. Got a call day before Thanksgiving to tell me what the problem was and the day after Thanksgiving got a call that it was fixed and ready to pick up.

My husband was looking for a particular chevy truck. Called and David Neubeck texted him a photo. Went on a friday and was given a great deal. Bought it the same day. Everyone he spoke to was very friendly and not pushy. I called on monday morning and talk to Dave and took care of everything so I didn't need to go the insurance company or rmv. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go see them first. I don' think you would be disappointed.

I've bought quite a few cars, and this was by far the easiest and best experience. Most of my car purchases left me feeling uneasy after I committed to buying one. This one was different. The sales manager was fair right off the bat, didn't low ball my trade or try to beat me up during negotiations. It was a fair deal for both sides and I highly recommend this dealership. You certainly can't please all customers, but it looks like they're doing a great job.

Great team, not a typical dealer, a great longtime locally owned family business. These guys have everything you need. Honesty, integrity, always a pleasure to work with. 6 stars in my opinion!!

They go the extra mile for you. We did not think we could afford the car but they helped us get the care we wanted and they have been there ever since. We get notices when we need service and we can make appointments via phone or the web. The people at McLaughlin take care of us.

I could never say anything bad about my experience...

I could never say anything bad about my experiences at McLaughlin Chevrolet. Whenever I arrive I'm greeted and treated like I'm the best customer. My vehicles and my family's vehicles are always meticulously cared for . Our sales guy Dave N. is top notch and we go back a long way.
The recent purchase of a 2016 Malibu was the 10th vehicle purchased through Dave and of course he's like family too. I have much respect for people who care about customers like these folks do.
To the folks at McLaughlin Chevrolet, great job!

I will give details later on, but customer service is terrible, outdated dealer, customer service no introduction, no handshake or anything to make the transaction more personalized, I think i might have forgotten the $ sign on my forehead so I might had a chance to be treated differently...

Purchased a Silverado from McLaughlin a week ago. The entire sales process was smooth, easy and straightforward, even down to the financing. Very friendly sales professionals all around with none of the typical aggressive tactics.

I m writing this as I sit here in the service department for a minor issue. The service and parts department is equally as pleasant to work with. Very happy with my purchase experience with McLaughlin, I ll be back when I m ready to trade my Wife s vehicle in the near future.

Went to McLaughlin Chevrolet after a less than pleasant experience at another dealership. I was greeted immediately and treated with respect at every stage of the sales process. My salesperson Will Roy was highly knowledgable about the product, services, and just an overall delight to work with. He made me feel comfortable, asked all the right questions, and put me in my dream car at a fair price. The car was immaculate when I picked it up, and Will took the time to make sure I was familiar with all the features. The finance manager Keith was equally as pleasant and even came out to say hello. Highly recommend. 5 STARS.

My mom bought a 2014 equinox from Mclaughlin about 3 yrs before she was killed in it. I happened to see a used truck at the dealer and figured I d come in on Sunday to look at it. I met Doreen and she was absolutely amazing. Not pushy and didn t feed me bs. I then met David who offered his condolences about my mom which was so nice. I remembered David when my mom bought her car. Him and Doreen gave me an amazing price for my trades and a great price for my new truck. I couldn t believe how fast everything was done. Highly recommend them!

My husband and I found a pre-owned Cadillac Escala...

My husband and I found a pre-owned Cadillac Escalade online that we absolutely loved,but we were a bit nervous to go to a dealership we were unfamiliar with. We decided to make the hour trip to at least check out the car and are so glad we did!!! We worked with Dave who was great! He wasn t your typical pushy salesman AT ALL! He was very knowledgeable about the car yet didn t try to sell us on it while educating us. He stayed an hour and a half late with us while we went back and forth trying to make a decision. His manager was also very nice and gave us not only a fair but a great price on our trade in, which definitely helped in our overall decision to buy the car! They also didn t complain or bat an eye once with our 2 toddlers running around which is one of those small things that mean a lot to parents. Dave was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had, if he didn t know an answer he did some research instead of giving us an answer for the sake of giving us an answer, made sure we got our free trial with OnStar without having to chase him down or remind him to do it, helped transfer everything to my new car and showed me again how to use all the features before I left. Never once did we feel pressured to buy this car or rushed when he stayed late for us! Thanks Dave for making what can be a very stressful experience a very enjoyable one!!! The whole team from Dave to his manager to the finance gentleman were all exceptional! Highly recommend this place.

When I walked into the dealership I was greeted by Glenn Smith! He was courtesy, gracious, knowledgeable and even kept me laughing the whole time! Together he and his Manager Ed Cushing took the time to make sure that I was able to have exactly what I was looking for in my new Colorado! When I picked up my new Colorado I could not have been happier with the experience I was provided with as well as the vehicle! Great Job to the Mcglaughlin team. (Did anyone else notice that one of the sales MANAGERS of this company wrote a 5 star review 9 months ago??)

I wish I could give them negative stars, I really do. I bought a baseline 2010 Malibu with 13,000 miles from them a couple of years ago. The price was kind of steep, but I needed a car, so I decided to buy it. I went in to meet the finance guy and start signing the paperwork and happened to notice that there was a $1300 warranty in the itemized list of charges. I hadn't asked for a warranty and had not been offered one, so I asked the finance guy what the charge was for. He said "5 years 100,000mi wrap around warranty" So I said ok and went on my way. It seemed really sneaky to begin with, but I just bought a car and said whatever. I went to get my car inspected and the brakes didn't pass. I had to call the service department and ARGUE with them to repair the brakes because they said that the brakes were considered a "normal wear and tear thing". I had just bought the car a few days prior and there was absolutely no way it could have been a wear and tear thing. I argued and they finally agreed to take care of the problem. I had thought maybe the bad service was just the person I had talked to and decided to sweep that under the rug. Then I began having other issues with my car. Small things here and there, but issues none the less. It turns out, the dealership doesn't have convenient service hours. Yes, they are open on Saturdays, but only for oil changes, nothing fancy. Not to mention my warranty was only good at that dealership. Because I couldn't make the time to go there (as I work a full time and a part time job) and because they didn't provide driver cars while your vehicle is being worked on, I didn't get the things repaired that needed to be. It was aggravating, but I also swept that under the rug. A couple months ago, I went to another dealership to trade in the car just because I felt like it wasn't the right vehicle for me. The dealership I bought the new car from informed me that I could go to Mclaughlin and get the remainder of my warranty back because I traded in the car and obviously didn't need the coverage anymore. I went to Mclauglin and spoke, again, to that sleezy finance guy and come to find out, my warranty EXPIRED. I asked how that could be and he said "well it was 5 years from the date it was manufactured". So apparently, I purchased a warranty FOR $1300 that was only good for 18 months. He did not explain that to me when I purchased the car (if he had I NEVER would have agreed to that because it's STUPID), and I felt like I was really taken for everything I had. I tried to call and speak with the head of the dealership but he was never "in" or "had just left for the day". I will never go there again and honestly, I don't know how they are still in business after 100 years. SCUM bags!
