Everything! I have been a member for close to 5 years, and they just keep getting better and better. Each teacher has their own unique gifts. I get so much from each practice and I go daily, sometimes I stay for a double! If you are thinking about giving yoga a try, don't think just Do. Come and Experience for yourself. You receive sooo much more than you pay for. It is, By far, the Best Addiction. Come see for yourself, but don't even think about taking my spot! Lol

I had a membership at MBody for a year before I moved away from town and decided to let it expire, but I am SO GRATEFUL I made that investment. A lot of stressful life changes were thrown my way in that year, and classes at MBody not only helped me work through those, they also reignited my passion for yoga.
Each instructor s style includes similar elements, so I knew I was at an MBody class, but they were still very different and unique to the teacher, so sometimes I would even pick a class based off of the vibes I needed that day. The support provided from instructors, from adjusting poses to spotting, felt almost intuitive. And you could tell the instructors really cared about what was going into each class. Maybe that s why I cried during the heart openers every now and then (oops).
Also I HAVE to mention the lavender towels. Given the state of the state I m not sure if they still offer those, but what a perfect reward after a long class. I recommend MBody to anyone looking for a home studio in Jacksonville. Shout it from the rooftops if I could.

I have been going to Mbody for just over a year now, and I love it! The rooms are kept around 95 deg, and they instruct in the Baptist style. The owner, and some of the instructors go down to do retreats with Baron himself. Everyone is very friendly and the instructors stay up to date on techniques. (To get more from your time, and also to better protect your body.) They are open to input, and have recently added many classes from it. Personally I love going there. I drive across town to spend my yoga practice with them. But you don't have to take my word for it... their first class is FREE. So please don't count them out because of Mr Johnny Hollywoods review. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and you might just like it =)

Based on my experience at this studio, whether you are looking for classes or yoga teacher trainings, if the owner is still Leah Greene I recommend you stay far. Far away. Leah bought the studio approximately a year ago, and if you notice the positive reviews here are almost all close to a year old or older. During my 300 hour training, I watched Leah force people to discuss their private trauma then proceed to tell them there s no such thing as right or wrong after they disclosed their pain. I heard multiple times no is not an option as a response to people not wanting to share. She belittled me at every opportunity and threatened me with the police because I refused to interact with her after these experiences in an attempt to protect myself. It is my opinion that she is not only unqualified to handle delicate issues such as r*pe and other trauma (according to the Yoga Alliance code of conduct as well as local and national laws governing therapeutic practices, these topics are meant to be only addressed by a mental health professional) but in attempting to do so she is unethical, abusive and a bully.

Today I start practicing at MBody. I already know it's going to be amazing, because every single person who has talked with me before hand has been exceptionally open, welcoming and inspiring in a genuine, friendly way. Our practice is what we make it.
I will share this studio with everyone I meet who is curious about yoga. -

My husband and I decided to come check this studio out and we absolutely loved it. I am 17 weeks pregnant and Dawn, the instructor, walked me through a number of modifications throughout the class. Members seem nice to! We immediately signed up for the 40 days for $40 after our first class. I highly recommend this studio!

Buyer beware. I am truly ashamed in the treatment...

Buyer beware. I am truly ashamed in the treatment that Dawn(the manager) and Leah(the owner) gave my wife. She signed up for the yoga instruction class. When unforeseen medical issues hit our family, we called the studio and kindly asked to speak to the owner. She was on a "yoga" retreat in Mexico and elected not to call us back for another 2-3 weeks. Likely having a good time with our hard earned money We asked them to refund the $2400 after my wife attended only one class. They had already kept the $500 non-refundable application fee. They told us that they do not offer refunds under any circumstances once the class begins. They did say that she could take the class another time the following year which was gracious of them. We in turn asked if they could keep the $2400 of our money and apply it to future dues at their studio for regular yoga classes. Again, Leah told us no and came back with her same rehearsed line of "no refunds" etc. She is terse and rude and I am truly ashamed to call her a fellow American. Their only aim is to take your money.

Dawn. This is false advertising as you are acting in the capacity as the owner which you are not.
Ostensibly, your comment is designed to act like you are willing to come to some sort of agreement between us, however it's merely designed to save face for the people reading. I called in yesterday as you suggested. We were talking about your "no refund policy" and I once again suggested you take my $2400 and apply it to my wife's dues so she could continue to practice yoga there like the 15 years prior. You then told me you'd tell the new owner Leah of our conversation(I've still never been able to talk to her like she is some magistrate that cannot be bothered with a peasant like me). You then abruptly hung up on me. Again. BUYER BEWARE! The sentiment of this studio is to take your money. They could care less about anyone's mental well-being.

I have moved from Pilates to Baptiste style Yoga within the last year. I am very happy not only with this style of Yoga but with the classes offered at MBody in San Marco. There will always be opinions about how good or bad an instructor or style is but do know - if you practice Baptiste style Yoga at MBody, you will feel better, look better and look forward to getting on your mat with the other practitioners. I don't consider myself a huge Yogi but I can tell you one thing - I am beach ready!

I adore this yoga studio. The atmosphere is like a little sanctuary and the classes they offer are absolutely amazing along with their yoga teachers and staff. I would highly recommend this place. The pricing is also extremely fair. They always have new student specials too.

M Body Yoga is welcoming, inspiring and incredibly healing for the mind, body & soul. It is an AMAZING studio. The space goes above and beyond with a very comfortable ambiance that welcomes you in from the very first day. I always leave not only with an awesome workout accomplished, but also feeling rejuvenated & encouraged. Teachers go out of their way to get to know you and your practice on a personal level more so than reviewing you as "just another client/student." I love how they can modify any class to accommodate my personal level, and every teacher brings something unique and authentic to offer. I feel challenged every class as well as part of a community at M Body and love the diverse group of yogis that practice here. I have tried out many yoga studios in the Jacksonville area and this one is by far the best.

Signed up for a free 90 minute class and it was intense, everyone there was very welcoming. This was my first yoga class, it was a great workout and an eye-opening opening experience. Check them out! I'll probably buy the 5-pack of classes to ease into it.

I came to this yoga studio for some of my first ever yoga classes so I was not sure what to expect. I found the classes challenging which I enjoyed. But since trying out a few other yoga studios I found much better atmosphere. Here some of the staff can come off very rude. Also the fact they book the classes very close together makes the room very sticky.

Being new to yoga I was nervous (no one likes looking silly in front of others) about the first class. It was quickly revealed that my fears had no basis in reality. The instructor was so helpful, hands on, and encouraging that I felt completely comfortable within minutes. And the class was amazing and thankfully more strenuous than I imagined yoga to be. Will definitely become a regular at MBody now.

I have been going to Mbody since Spring of 2008, I was in college playing soccer and I was having hamstring problems, friend of mine told me that yoga will do magic. Took one class and liked it, bought the 40 day pass and fell in love with Yoga, in begging it was just physical aspect of it, being strong and flexible but as I took more classes I realized how it helps me with my ADHD and I am able to focus better and I was much nicer person to be around :) I have been to few other places but I have biased opinion in regards to Mbody, the place has some of the best instructors in Florida and I have been there countless of times but cant complain about anything or anyone. I love it today more than ever, because Yoga has the life of its own, everyone has their own way of interpreting it to themselves, and as you discover more about it, and go deeper in the world of yoga, it helps you understand life and get closer to what it means to be truly happy, you get closer to spiritual aspect of life which directly correlates with your physical well being. Maybe they should have named the place MSBody, Mind, Sprite, and body! I hope you give it a try, I know you wont be disappointed!

Mbody was the first yoga studio I ever attended 1 year ago. I was nervous due to having little yoga experience, but Dawn and the Mbody teachers made me feel right at home immediately! Every teacher is very approachable, and has been very helpful in encouraging me to grow my practice. They are always ready to answer questions or show you how to modify poses to make sure your practice is safe and your joints/muscles are protected. Classes are filled with every age, gender, body type and yoga experience you can imagine. I really enjoy that the classes aren't too big, it really makes practicing here feel more personal. Mbody is always having workshops, training, and challenges to keep you involved. I really enjoy attending both the Southside and Neptune Beach studio, and would encourage you to drop in and try it out!
