Nice place with quite a lot of food options. Huge sandwiches for the money. They don't know what a muffaletta is though. It's a cold sandwich in a hoagie/grinder roll there. Bad call on my part in a hurry to order. Crazy crowds and I feel really rushed there even though it takes awhile to get your food. Worth checking out and I get it, but not my bag...

Got everything u want for your own sandwiches. They have prepared meals. Sopressata ,cheese, good bread. Deserts. I reccomend!!!

One of the most amazing places on the planet. Pasta, deli meats, coffee, breads, cheese, wine, produce, cookies, salads, sandwiches, you name it. They have an outdoor patio where you can eat. It's wall to wall people, but being so wonderful it's easy to understand why. It would never stop me from going or giving a 5-star rating. If you don't like crowds, just go when they open.

This place is freakin awesome. This is hands down the best Italian market I have ever been to. They have everything we could want. The deli has some great sandwiches. This place is a don t miss when you are in the area.

I gave them a 4 star because of the hours. I can't always get there before 6pm M-F. Friday and Saturday are insane. Longer hours would be nice.

The only place down here in Florida that reminds me of back home in New York, a must for my fellow former or even current NYERs- this place feels like home.

Go hungry- Food was fabulous! Can get a little chaotic when ordering at the deli /hot food counters. Tables set up for eating outside under cover with misting fans. The market/grocery stocks plenty of items to take home too!

Great Italian market. It reminds me of the type of place you'd find in NY. They serve great fresh pasta, desserts, meats, soups, wine, etc. Stop in for a bite to eat or take it home and cook it yourself.

So I go inside, take a number at the deli on a busy Saturday, I wait 10-15 mins, my number is called, I start telling the young man what I'd like. He snottily says let me see that number. I show him and he seems so happy to tell me that my number is green and that I need to go get a white number. I said no I don't and walked out, never to return.

I would give 6 stars if I could. Big Fish, meatball and the Italian are all great picks!

Been there many times. Got there before 10:00, not so jammed. Had Capresi Salad for lunch with chunk of Italian bread, yummy. Continued to shop for Italian specialties not found else where...

This place is awesome. Wow, what a truly pleasant surprise. Mazzaro's takes me back to New York, LA and Baltimore. Perceived by me as fantastic; right out of fantasy. I love the Amish Shoppe and Mazzaro's. Before you die, if you have not been, go there. Now. Remember your wallet.

Got a some beans here for the road and it was a lovely shop with variety of other treats.

Deliciously reminiscent of the markets in my beloved Rome.

Everyone should visit just for the experience. We always go when in St Pete. Some things are pricey, but everything is good.

This is a really cool Italian market where you can buy authentic Italian foods and herbs and stuff that you can't get anywhere else around Tampa. It is absurdlyyyy busy but well worth it. Has a giant meat coffee wine and cheese selection. If you are from NY or just Italian and you want to feel like you are at a long island deli or market, GO HERE. A million stars

This place is a hidden gem. I love the Tuna Wasabi sandwich at the deli, the cannolis at the bakery, the fresh buffalo mozzarella in the cheese shop, the espresso at the coffee bar, and the prosciutto at the deli meats. Take home a freshly steak with a wine selected for the perfect pairing by their wine experts.

Wow, great food, nice Italian market and atmosphere, friendly staff

Parking is awful, which means place is crowded..Bakery is 5 , cooked food looks unappetizing and dried out..Large variety of everything Italian..Coffee bar, cheese & wine room, butcher, and novelty items. Sandwiches made to order with un-air conditioned out side seating which is noisy due to traffic on 22nd avenue. Very pricey..

Cannot rave enough about Mazzaros!! I took my significant other here to explore cheese (great selection) and they're routinely pleased (a near impossible task). Added bonus: they have great wines, fabulous breads, and a fabulous selection of various Italian and Greek favorites (I love the stuffed grape leaves, but the pizzas and pastas and deli are all great too!)

Despite the crowd this place is great. Be prepared for to many people for the space they have.

Really nice place for all things Italian, in good taste. Good gelato. Good bakery. Enjoyed the soppresata. The prices were fair across the board. Service was good. This will be a first stop next time I visit!

Place was amazing. The store is packed with wine, cheese, deli meats, prepared foods for take out and a sandwich counter to order your own for lunch. Be aware that at lunch time the sandwich counter is packed 3 deep so either go early, later or call ahead. Bakery items are amazing!
