Mazzaro - Italian Restaurant Review

My favorite place for my delicious food and treats! I wish it would be closer to Wesley Chapel

missing some of our italian delicacy from up north..here its.one stop shopping...its crazy crowded....but you get delicious breads, pastries, biscuts...fresh raviolis..yummy..the butcher has very good.meat
..their fresh saugage and lamb out.of this world....they have a great selection of wine and cheeses...coffee..and you can eat there....we live about 1 1/2 hours so when we are near there..we always stock up on our favorites....yummy!

Great everything! Especially the friendliness of the staff! The mini coconut creme pies are AH-MAZING! We visited from Texas and will be sure to go back the next time we are in the St Pete's Beach area.

This place is fantastic. Great selection of wine and cheeses, fresh and specialty dried pasta, coffee drinks, and pastries! The atmosphere is loud and busy in the deli/grocery section, but after you pay for your sandwiches/dessert and sit in the covered patio, you can chat and savor the simple but fabulous food and drinks. Highly recommended.

Great store with an excellent selection. It's Worth the trip from just about anywhere!

Best place ever, I don't think I have ever bought something from Mazzaro's that we didn't enjoy. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is inviting. Only issue I have is always going overboard shopping there. You cannot just go in for one thing. Love this place!!

This is my favorite Italian Market in St Pete. Good quality food, meals and desserts!. I wish they will be open on Sundays.

Authentic Italian bakery, lunches served, coffee bar, freshly made pastas & gelato.

Great customer service, nice place to have lunch and great food: handmade bread, cakes and cookies, great sandwiches, fresh and frozen pasta and pizza dough. Many many other things.
Great place for breakfast, lunch and snacks in between.

Mazzaro's is a must do experience in St. Petersburg. If you like cooking Italian meals, your meats, pasta, breads, desserts and wine should come from Mazzaro's.

Mazzaro's is amazing. It has everything you could want from an Italian market: homemade pasta, fresh baked breads, delicious desserts, and wonderful sandwiches for lunch. They also have what is probably the best bacon ever, Nueske's Applewood smoked bacon. Go there, but avoid Saturdays until the snowbirds have gone home.

Awesome food/goods but ALWAYS packed and limited parking. A hassle in/out but worth the hassle.

Italian at its best, desserts to die for. Definitely a place to experience if you are in St. Pete.

So much to look at the sights and sounds. The smells! I enjoyed, I am not big on the reheated food though. I will go back though. Many options there.

Busy market. Few parking lots incl. A side one that is a little hard to find first time. No other Italian market like it around; closest Naples FL maybe? Be patient with the busy parking lot, market, and checkout.. And you should have a good time and find a few imported items you'll enjoy. Worth it.

This place has everything. From pasta to wine, bread to cheese, desserts to subs everything. Made fresh most of it. The coffee, cake and pizza. Amazing wine cellar with a huge collection. The cheese spread are just heaven. Biscotti is just perfect. The cannolis sweet. Go and spend time taking it all in and buying most of the stuff.

My go to place for specific ingredients. Shop Local. They also have an amazing deli with made to order sandwiches and homemade dishes. The bakery is also great with fresh breads and Italian delights as well as gelato and coffee.

I see why they have been open for so many years.

This market makes you feel like you've left Florida and stepped into a busy Italian Market. The sandwiches are my favorite on fresh-baked baguettes with a generous portion of meat, cheese, and veggies. The tiramisu is the best I've ever had! The cheese counter is beautiful, with wonderful cheeses to try. The meat counter had delicious-looking fresh meats and I tried the moatloaf-delish! One of my favorite experiences in St Petersburg!

I heard really great things about this place, and it was pretty good. I just thought it would have a little more cozy feel. I felt rushed and totally out of place. They obviously have a very good reputation and a ton of stuff to select from. But I like comfortable and cozy, and felt like I was at a black Friday sale. But give it a shot, maybe you'll find its perfect for you.....

I cannot get over how nice this place is. The staff was so warm and eager to help. They even made great conversation. The selection is so good and so affordable. If I lived in st Pete I'd never shop anywhere else. Prepared foods, Bakery, grocery, wine, cheeses, etc, etc. The kitchen manager I spoke to really went out of her way. It was a wonderful experience.

I love Mazzaro's!!! They have the best Jalapeno Bacon in town. Everyone is friendly and I had food from every department and it's great.

Every time I go to the st. Pete airport to pick someone up. I have to stop at Mazzaro's and get a hot Italian sandwich and 5 lb of fresh Italian sausage to bring home. Love all their products.

Best Italian Market in the Bay Area!!!! Recently moved down from Long Island and this place is on par to say Uncle Guiseppes ,A&S,Salpino or Pastosa. About a half hour drive south to get there from me so not to bad.

This is always a must do stop when in the area, great food to rake home and eat there.

Awesome place! 5 stars the first visit...However, after a second trip I find it not too "shopper friendly". Take the wrong color ticket at the counter and you have no clue which line you are waiting for. Went for chicken parmesan and after waiting 25 minutes for my number I was rudely told I had the wrong color! Really???? Needless to say I left with no chicken parmesan! Had much better luck at the bakery and the butcher counter.

Definitely worth the trip looking for authentic Italian Food this is the place

This place is like a staple of St. Pete, FL, and as so it is a great place to bring friends visiting and also to shop at regularly. They have authentic Italian food, bread, deserts, and variety of other foods of an eclectic sort, like the Cajun fish sandwich is great especially because all the bread is made in store at the bakery. They have food that you can eat there, grab a beer, and sit in the patio, or you can get stuff to go like fresh pasta made in store, some cheese, tiramisu, pick from their large room of wine, pop a pizza in at home, seafood, meat, etc. Plus they have an espresso bar, the environment is different and maybe one would say it feels Italian. I would recommend to come on a week day because on Saturday they become extremely crowded.
