I love this place! The selection of prepared foods is outstanding, but the prepared food area is always crowded and slow. Brought home a pizza from my last visit, and it was out of this world! They have done a great job of reconfiguring the check-outs for social distancing, but i was disappointed that they did not enforce a mask requirement. This is a SMALL place, and masks should certainly be required. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Amazing Market...VERY RUDE STAFF! This place is fantastic in regards to the unique and wide range of food, wine, and coffee offerings...but i have little interest in going back...The management and staff don't just act irritated with their customers...They seem to have disdain for them! That's okay...there's plenty of markets that actually are HAPPY to have customers.

The only authentic and complete Italian market in Florida. We drive over from Cocoa, FL several times per year just to get the Tuscan bread from the bakery Delicious expresso bar, fresh pasta, deli, cheese bar, and fresh olives.

Just picked up a large order for lunch and I had the most amazing employee helping me. I could not even leave the parking lot until I wrote a review. Jennifer from the deli is one amazing service oriented person. Not only was she helpful to me but she was the same with her own coworkers. You have a great person working for you.

I've been here a year ago amd I never remembered the name. I wish to return again really soon and thank Mr.Mazzaro himself for this market being a good memory in atine where life dealt me a not so great hand to play. I'd like to thank the wonderful chefs and bakers for an amazing meal and an amazing dessert to remember for a lifetime. I'm glad and grateful for the opportunity to experience all of those wonderful experiences and I'm eager to visit again. Thank You

Taking one star away for staff not being very friendly especially behind bread counter. Food is great and selection is awesome. There is a big parking problem that has not improved over the years.

Really great find for amazing Italian deli type foods. Had antipasto, fresh delicious roll and almond biscotti for 16$ with drink. Will be returning to pick up a take home dinner meal, all kinds of selections.

Mamma mia! This is one of the finest Italian markets in the country. Whatever Italian food you want, they've got. And everything is delicious! Cannolis, different types of bread, rainbow cookies, cheesecake, eclairs, tiramisu, outstanding chicken parm, chicken marsala, lasagna, delicious salads, and fantastic soups.

Then there's the handmade pasta department, a butcher, a huge wine selection, plus a wide variety of hard-to-find gourmet cheeses.

But don't forget to grab a sandwich or three on the way out because they're phenomenal. They do catering as well, a lifesaver for hosting parties.

I have never had a bad experience here! It's super busy every time I visit, but I have to stop here for lunch whenever I'm in St. Pete!! Super delicious food, great coffee, great atmosphere! Good luck finding parking tho :-P

It's obvious by the throngs of people that this is a very special place for Italian food. Whether you want a deli sandwich or to buy pasta, meats or pastries, this place has it all and it's quite a spectacle. Today there were people from all over the world shopping, tasting and enjoying the food and flavors

I had read about this place and happened to be in Tampa, so I drove over here in St. Petersburg. I am so glad I did. This is a food's paradise. I read that they have 300 varieties of cheese, a wine room, meats, Italian specialties, an espresso bar, and in-house bakery, prepared foods, and so much more. Real quality here!! I wish I lived closer

My first visit to Mazzaro's. The Market looked great and they had a lot of business. I took a number at the deli and waited patiently for my number to be called they were on 88 and my number was 90. So much for numbers, they went right from 88 to 92 and when I asked why they skipped numbers his answer in a rude grumbling voice was "oh you must not have been ready". He had the opportunity to fix it right there and now but instead seem unconcerned and couldn't be bothered so I gave him my number back and walked out. My Wife can shop there if she wants but I will never spend a dime there.

So good

A gem equally worth visiting as an outing and as a grocery run. The "Seeds and Grains" bread they bake every Tuesday and Thursday is the best bread I've ever eaten and their cheese room is outstanding. I also love getting lunch on the patio. Try the muffaletta!

Meh. This is a pretty cool experience to do at least once, although I'd never recommend bringing kids. The low shelves are so tempting for children and it's almost impossible to navigate with a stroller.
The bar has pretty good drinks (I've had coffee and hot chocolate for the kids). Just be prepared to be shuffled like a major cattle call and a soup Nazi atmosphere. The grocery part and fresh pasta is good. The sandwiches are just ok. I've had the hot Italian (soggy), Italian panini (needed something else so I used mustard), chicken parm, chicken Caesar wrap, Philly cheesesteak, and some sandwiches of the day (all meh).
I tried to buy some Greek cheese and it was expired by almost a year. When I went back to get another, I realized the whole stock was expired. However, I did feel transported to a different place and the staff is very passionate and professional.

If you love food...or even if you like food...heck if you eat food you are going to love this place. It is quaint as a neighborhood specialty store with the hustle bustle of a New York City market. You can get prepared dishes to take home and heat up or you can have a sandwich made at the deli and eat in or on the cool patio. The most beautiful cuts of meat are available at the butcher's counter. The wine and cheese rooms (you heard that right) will keep you occupied for hours. And you can end the trip with a stop at the bakery and the espresso bar. Just take your time and enjoy the place. You will be glad you did.
In addition to all of that, the staff is helpful and friendly. I will be back again and again! Thanks, Mazzaro's!

It s been a few years since our last visit to Mazzaros. We traveled from the West Coast to FL. Mazzaros in St. Petersburg has become one of our highlights & we are so excited to shop & eat there tomorrow as well as introduce the market to our FL. resident, great nephew.
