This is the best or the best for all your Italian goodies! Amazing fresh meat and fish, the cheese and wine room is to die for, fresh, frozen and dried pasta of every kind. The bakery selections are wonderful and don't for get the deli counter, take it with you of dine-in. It is the most wonderful experience!!!

Whats not to like!!!! This is a one time shop every 2 months, fantastic selection on everything from meats, breads, sauces, deli, cheeses, wine and desserts!! Plus many, many more... im in heaven!! Ooooofffff love love love!!!!! Me and my girlffiend love it!!!

Can never go wrong with this place. Always bustling during lunch time, and for good reason! I've had a few sandwiches and they're all delightful and HUGE for the price!! This one here is the cold ham and capicola plus an Italian wedding soup. Both were amazing and I'm pumped that I have a half sandwich leftover to eat for my mid afternoon snack

This place is amazing! You won't find anything like it anywhere else. I've never been disappointed with anything I've ever purchased. They're always packed, so make sure you have time to spare! Hopefully they'll expand to another location in the St Pete area!

Great place to buy food for all your Italian cooking needs! The sausage and peppers sandwich was delicious. Spamoni gelato was to die for.

What a great market! You can buy fresh pasta, luscious desserts, whole or ground coffee beans, not to mention salads, sandwiches, and a range of imported grocery items. Meats and vegetables and cheeses, and fresh-baked bread, everything is here.

Wine room and cheese selection is about the only thing worth seeing. Craft food section is pretentious and frankly terrible quality product for the price. 50+ truffle flavored items yet no real truffle just artificial flavor at true truffle price

The food is awesome. However sitting at the counter you are greeted with snarls and grumpy faces. I paid with a CC and was not even given a pen. We ask to taste a piece of salami and was told a sharp NO.

Has a little bit of all edibles italian. Fresh made pastas and desserts. Hard to find good items. Great cheese and wine selections...take out and sandwiches are good but we go here for cooking supplies

Huge selection of local and niche foods and spices. Huge selection of wine as well. Fresh cuts, greens, bakery, and coffee.

Great place! The staff is very knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable. Massive selection of cheeses, and hard to find items are here (oils, cooking ingredients, etc.) Large, very large selection of wines, and fresh bread. Parking is limited and the store gets crowded quickly. Best to come early.

The manager upon hearing I thought a bakery good was terrible said if we make it that way all the time too bad we won't give you a refund for a lousy 3.50 i have bought there for 15 years the manager should be fired

I have been told about this place for years and had never been, disappointed with myself for not going sooner.The selection there was better than I ever could have imagined I went there about noon on a Saturday and the place was so full of people you could barely move and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get anything in the lines looked so big but I don't think I waited more than 2 minutes and any line that was in there I got fresh pasta at the pasta case I also got bread at the bakery and the lines look huge but the staff was so great and so on top of everything and very fast I have to commend them for how well they handle crowds. Next time I think I'll tried going during midweek so I can get a better look at everything when it's a bit less crowded. I bought a loaf of the semolina bread and the fresh manicotti and some of their homemade marinara sauce and everything was excellent.

Hands down, the best market in Tampa Bay area. Mazzaros is an Italian Market with made-to-order sandwiches, fresh meats, already prepared, just have to pop in the oven, cheeses, wines, gelato, fresh bread... and everything is DELICIOUS! Word to the wise though, don't go on a Saturday - unless you like huge crowds. Try to go during the week, although I've never been to Mazzaros when it wasn't crowded!

We always stop here on our way back from Tampa and we are never disappointed. It's our chance to stock up on our favorites and grab a to-go sandwich. You can sit up at the counter or take everything away. Please research and find the quiet time for your first visit as you need to discover Mazzaro's on your own time. Once you know where everything is, you can stop by anytime and get what you need. I love this place!

This local gem is by far the finest Italian grocery, eatery and Cafe available in the area!

OMG, the most amazing place. Bakery extraordinaire, fresh bread, pizza, Italian cookies and did I mention the most amazing pastries/cakes...and chocolate covered bacon. Fresh meats, prepared foods, wine room, fresh produce...Just amazing!

It s small and crowded with limited parking. Very good meats and bakery. That s why I go. Although no one behind the butcher counter ever smiles. Good pizza ready to go aro 11AM. It s a hassle to move around inside. Prepared food is ok. Not great. Coffee is only fair. It s becoming a tourist spot.

Amazing variety! Good take home pastas!! We got the manicotti and it was awesome. I wish they had some gluten free options. They had bagged pasta in gluten free but nothing fresh.

Mazzaro's has amazing Italian food, coffee, and a atmosphere perfect for meeting friends or family, or even a work /colleague meeting. The market has fresh groceries but beware is very busy in the morning time and in the afternoon right before they close so if you plan to go plan to go around 9:30 a.m. or around 4:30.

The cheese and wine selection is outstanding, and they have a decent selection of salumi. I'm not convinced the olive oil is high turnover, as everything has been covered in dust every time I've visited in the last 3 years. The butcher counter is very well stocked, but the layout of this place is an absolute train wreck. I definitely will continue making the trip to stock up on cheese and salumi, but I never really look forward to the large crowds on the weekend

When I first moved to the area this was the hidden gem of St Petersburg. Now the secret is definitely out and it is almost always packed but we'll worth dealing with the crowds. Great little Italian market. Fantastic deli. Delicious bakery. Amazing espresso bar.

Love coming to this historic place! It's quite an experience - the food is amazing, service is always good, and the atmosphere is like a bustling Italian market - just as it should be. Plan on spending a lot of time is you're visiting for the first time. Regulars know what to expect. Saturday's are extremely busy!

Everything is top quality, the crowds can be somewhat overwhelming so get there early and spend a couple hours browsing.

Great food. Great prices. Some of the employees seemed impatient.I attributed that to the fact it is was very busy.

They have a lot of fresh items. Plenty of ready-to-cook meals. But it is very very expensive.

Had eaten here many times and was always good. Went about 3 weeks ago to meet a friend for lunch. A worker was on her break sitting outside eating. She proceeded to blow her nose, cough all over, wipe on shirt. I am sure she didn't wash her hands upon food service. She handled door with germ ridden hands to get back into building. So, now everyone else who touched the door handle touched her ick. It took my appetite away and I never ordered food for fear someone that ill is preparing my meal. Stay home if you are sick. Don't prepare food. Especially, sandwiches. Won't go back. If she's that dirty, so are others working there.

If you are in St Petersburg do not miss this place.
