Fantastic Italian old neighborhood Deli + bakery, plus fine wines and cheese, olives and espresso etc..etc...good presentation, excellent foods, great customer service. You can spend a little or a lot! Give it a try, well worth it!!

Best Italian, most everything is homemade, especially great are the pastas. Lasagna melts in your mouth! Osso Buco is fork-tender. Great pastries and gelato.
Get there early. You can buy frozen items and they warm up wonderfully. Occassionally they have Lamb, either fresh or frozen.

Absolutely love this place...we plan our beach trips around stopping here

Mazzaro's is a fun place to shop, browse and eat. It's spans an entire block in a busy part of a downtown area near Clearwater, FL. It is easily identifiable from the main street by its interestingly painted warehouse style buildings. You can spend hours shopping for everything Italian! Goods range from pastries, wines and fresh roasted on the premises coffee to usual and unusual kitchen gadgets. They have a wonderful butcher shop with somewhat higher grade meats with a higher yet reasonable price. The best Filet Mignon and homemade Pinwheel Parmesan Spinach stuffed Sausage I've ever had. They have a wonderful Wine and cheese shop, an exceptional Italian deli/sandwich shop where sandwiches are served on their homemade bread but best of all a complete Italian bakery! Either take these delectables home or sit and enjoy them at their community coffee bar while either watching staff roast their own coffees, cut their own pasta or you can just sit and people watch. This is also a great place to buy Italian condiments, candies and gourmet grocery items. There is much more than described here. Wheelchair accessible, outside seating available, but there is only one restroom for the entire complex as far as I've seen and bus trips are popular here which means so are the bathrooms! Don't forget to bring a cooler to take home your purchases if you have far to travel. This place is well worth the trip!! Please give this a like if you found my review helpful.

Went on a Saturday, peak season. Mistake! So crowed it ruined the experience. The home store seemed to have lost its originality; it's too cutsiey and not very unique.

I've just recently discovered this place, but it quickly become a must stop place when I am in the area. I am from Boston and was looking for a good Italian market and this is it! The look and feel of the place are as good as the food in it. If you like old school rustic Italian market this it. The bread in their bakery is the best I've had in Florida (Although I still can't find a loaf of scali anywhere)

As a native New Yorker who was raised in an Italian neighborhood ... I feel right at home at Mazzaro! Best market, food, and desserts in the Tampa Bay Area. Its too bad they don't have New York style pizza.

Fantastic little market. Great food. Friendliest of people. Highly recommend making a visit and grabbing lunch while doing dinner shopping. Parking is a little tight if you park right next to the building. But they have plenty of overflow parking in the lot to the side. My wife and I will be going back for more.

Classic Gourmet Food store with an old market Itallian store flair. Whole coffee beans from all over the world. Self serve grinders. Yummy real gelato and deserts at a coffee bar fabulous wine and cheese collection, fresh vegetables and delicious deli meats and cheeses and even prepared food items. Fabulous.

nice items/specialty, great nocciola gelato, treats, pretty nice prices on sandwiches, good wine selection... parking can be a bit tricky, don t go during lunch time, or right before a holiday... it is nuts, and these italian men walk with their elbows out.

Awesome market, coffee HORRIBLE !! All of there barista need to be trained to properly make a cappuccino! Ok, should the foam be 2 inches above the rim of the glass , and have air bubble ??! The coffee was burnt and bitter, machine was not adjusted, shots where pouring down like water and no crema??? Please fix this !!!

The very best Italian market I've ever visited. The prepared food we purchased & baked goods were delicious. We wish there was 1 of their markets in Sarasota. When we visit our friends we'll always be sure to stop @ Mazzaro's.

Excellent place to shop for any delicious authentic Italian food you cannot believe this place was so happy that we found it and we had such amazing experience from the butcher section to the espresso bar because were able to sample anything that we want try and if you have time can you buy some of the foods and go on the terrace and enjoy lunch and you are allowed to buy a bottle of wine from the liquor store authentic Italian and enjoy your lunch with wine how great is that excellent place can t wait to go back.

Every time I come down to visit my daughter in Clearwater I have to stop at this market it should be rated 10 stars we don t even have a place like this in Michigan and I never seen anything like it the best

With so any opinions on Italian food, drinks and desserts what's not to love about Mazzaros? Mazzaros has a cheese room and a wine room as well.

Today they close at 2:30. I drove 2 hours to get here and barely made it a couple of minutes before there. I already know what I need to get but the lady at the door wasn't so nice inviting me to leave bc its closing time. I wasn't expecting a store to close at 2.30, my fault for not checking and it would have taken me 5 min to pick up what I needed and leave

This place is insane and amazing!!! One of the very best things about St. Pete. Rich coffee, handmade pastas, extensive wines and oils, fresh pastries, deli...the list goes on

Worth the chaos. The employees are in sync and seem happy. The inpatient customers are entertaining for a laid-back chic like me. Everything is delicious! Love the focaccia bread and sweets! Well I like alot more, but don't have enough room to list.

The best Italian Market around, but be prepared for it to be very busy. Parking is sometimes a challenge, just bring lots of patience and you will be glad you did.

Prepare for worse-than-disney crowds. But the price to quality ratio is great and they provide hard to find options.

If you have never been to Mazzaro's treat yourself bring Friends Along this is no joke the best Market and the best service of any place of my life it's like the grown up version of Disneyland but there's wine or cappuccinos whatever your preference

This place is DANGEROUSLY awesome!!! The best cheese room in town, deep wine selection....the market is great and best of all...the sandwiches and other dishes they serve are INCREDIBLE!!

First time there and I'm hooked, I had the hot Italian panini. Very satisfied with the food, it all looked incredible. The staff was very polite and friendly, ready to fulfill all of your needs.

I go to Mazzaro's every Friday. It s my favorite part of the week. Their selection of Italian goods and foods is UNMATCHED.

They have done a great job at enforcing the mask policy. Seeing as Mazzaro's is famously bustling with people, they have made great efforts to keep it as safe as possible. The 3-4 times I have seen people without masks, the managers & employees have personally asked the customers to put on their masks. I hope that they continue to enforce this policy.

I am rating them 4 stars, however, because they do allow people to eat at the indoor cafe at the bar. I don't think this is particularly sanitary and to me - it defeats all the good they've been doing by enforcing the mask policy! Because of this, I try to avoid the cafe section as much as possible. I hope that they will consider altering this policy.

Phenomenal - both the panini and canoli were Italy level good.

As a delivery driver I have seen both the front of house as well as back of house and I can tell you that both are spotless, fresh product made daily, courteous staff.

10 out of 10, I wish I knew more people to bring here! I order sandwiches usually by calling ahead as it s always busy, the food is great with very reasonable prices for what tastes like home cooked food. They literally have everything and today I discovered their ready to cook single servings so I picked up 3 meals for $20! All the staff is busy but still very nice. Just want to thank you for such a nice place to visit. See you soon

This place is awesome the quality of food is amazing. In my opinion I think this is the best meat market around period.

It's a really nice Italian market, I can't find anything comparable to it. The parking isn't too big so it's a hit or miss with that and being a bit crowded at times. I bought the tiramisu, but it tasted mostly of whipped cream, it was only a single layer cake topped with a ton of whipped topping. I also had some pizza which was delicious! I recommend going and trying something that catches your interest. All in all, it's a great place for your Italian ingredient needs!

Awesome. Great deli ,fresh breads and pastries. Nice wine selection and buy one and dri k it there with lunch on the patio. One of my area favorites in the area for lunch and then bring something home for dinner.

Best grocery store I found since I've lived in Florida and over three and a half years awesome awesome place you have to try it!

A little piece of Italy right in the middle of St. Pete! It gets pretty crowded but every thing they sell if crafted with delicious care and the experience feels pretty authentic! I got my fiancee an espresso cream cake for his birthday and it was absolutely perfect!

I had heard of Mazzaro's several times and wasn't let down when I finally stopped in for lunch. The hot Italian special sandwich was great.

It's also a much larger store / market than I was expecting.. Will definitely be going back to try other sandwiches, pastries etc.

4.75 stars. This place is a GREAT italian market. From Cheeses, salami, soppressata, cured meats, breads, pastries (rugelach are amazing), wines, you name it, they have it ALL. Think about creating your own party, and shop there. Did I mentioned they have a great deli and fresh pasta counter? Believe me you won't regret it. Come in with time and you will enjoy the rush of this iconic place. Btw several buildings with other great items adjacent to the main building too. Why not 5 stars, no table service here. But that's good if you are ok with a little mayham.

Crowded! Come in and stay awhile or get stuff to take home. Lots & lots of Italian food or ingredients to prepare at home
