Wow!! This place reminds me of being back up north! The aroma of fresh bread pulls you in from the parking lot. They have everything you can imagine and I m here for it! Thank you for the authenticity of your establishment.

Wow this place is extravagant. Great Quality everything. I love the cheesesteak and cant forget gelato for dessert. Very nice selections of authentic Italian meats and cheeses as well. I wish they had one of these in lakeland!

I would give Mazzaro's 6 stars if I could. This place is a foodie's dreamland. If you are visiting St. Pete this is a much see. If you live in St. Pete and know about Mazzaro's you probably already visit there regularly. :)

Old fashion Italian market with quality products. Mazzaro has home made pasta, choice cut meats, wines, cheeses and an excellent bakery. Hungry, order at the counter or sit at the expresso bar. It is crowded for a reason so have patience: it is work the wait.

Really nice market with a great variety of food, an small veggie section, amazing ravioli, take and bake pizza, good pastries a small coffee shop, fresh bread, cheese and a wine store all at reasonable prices. They also had a pretty good selection of pre made foods, soups and salads which I didn't try, but looked good.

An irreplaceable gem of St Pete. I take all of my out-of-town friends here at least once when they visit. The outside patio allows us to enjoy the deli and bakery foods right there with a large selection of beer and wine. Great for a lunch date or some very high quality grocery shopping.

This Italian style grocery store is awesome!!! You absolutely need to stop in and see it yourself. It has a deli section that slices meat, makes sandwiches and other prepared meals. They also have an eating area, a coffee shop that you can get all kinds of coffee made fresh. Also a wide selection of foods including cheeses, deserts and imported food and goods. They also have another building next door that sells items of all kids for the kitchen and around the house. STOP IN, once you do you WILL be hooked!!!

Great place to find your hard to find Italian specialty items. If you hate crowds then don't go unless it's when they first open. And don't try to use a shopping cart as the aisles are too narrow, especially when people are packed in the aisles. Use a hand basket. Prices are very high, except for their bakery where you can find wonderful bread and pastries at reasonable prices. The in-house pasta looked wonderful but lines were too long to even attempt an order. Parking may seem limited but they have an adjacent lot next door.

Everything Italian.

Everything Italian.
Sandwiches at are great if you could get to the counter to order.the bakery is pretty good
but same problem you can not get to the counter. Wine cellar is well stocked. The cheeses are limited. Closed on Sundays, which is a bummer. Parking very limited.

I ordered the hot italian sandwich. It was served in a Styrofoam container. When I took the sandwich out of the container the bread was so soaked that the sandwich fell apart. The tomotoes were diced not sliced like they belonged on a salad. I would expect that a "hot" sandwich would be toasted and crispy not a soggy mess. Big disappointment...threw it in the trash.

Mazzaro's is a St. Pete institution. It's a really cool Italian market with tons of great and unique food items. I love their subs and their lasagna. The only down side to Mazzaro's is that it's always crowded, but that just speaks to how popular it still is after all these years.

Omg, just omg! As a Long Island Italian who loves to eat & knows good delis & markets all over Long Island, if you haven t visited Mazzaro s at least once you owe it to yourself to go now! Reminds me a lot of the markets in my neighborhood when I was a kid in the 60 s. You name it, it s here from Italian cookies to various breads, cheeses, wines & beer, fresh pasta, a large (& usually very busy) deli counter right down to shaved prosciutto. To top it off for as busy as they usually are, and it gets crazy around the holidays, the workers are all so nice. Good thing for me they re an hours drive or I d be huge & broke.

Fun place with a bakery, deli, fresh pasta, etc. There's also a separate retail store with home goods and kitchen gadgets. Of all that I bought, we have so far had the homemade carrot ginger soup and the homemade cranberry almond chicken salad. Both were very good.

Highly overrated. Very expensive cheese section ($28 per pound, anyone?) and an uppity "cheese lady" who will let you try some of the goods only after you promise to make a purchase. (I assume some of her previous customers asked for samples and didn't buy anything, so now she feels compelled to ask.) Extremely crowded on Saturdays, so not for the faint of heart. Oh, and one more thing. I wasn't going to post a review. Instead, I sent a private comment to Mazzaro's through their website, hoping they would acknowledge my concern regarding their customer service(or lack of). Unfortunately, they did not deem my email "worthy" and chose to ignore it. They could learn a lot from Publix. I'll be buying my cheeses from Publix instead. I'll save a ton and will leave with a smile on my face.

Save the airfare and visit a little bit of Italy in St. Pete. When ordering the pizza fabullosa and vino fabuloso, don't forget to gesticulate your hands in the fashion of a true Mediterranean. When ever we go to St. Pete our car seems to exit with a will of its own on 22nd Street. Our sensible cerebellums steer away, but our passionate hearts and indulgent stomachs bring us to little Italy every time!

Unbelievable food in the sandwiches that they serve at the deli are the best sandwiches around and the prices at the deli is the most inexpensive prices around the quality of the food is unreal five stars across the board great place great atmosphere you can't ask for anything better than this I just wish they had one in every city because I live in Clearwater Beach and I have to travel close to 28 miles

This place is stupid awesome! If you're Italian, this is heaven. It's a bit of Italy in America. If you're not Italian, I feel bad for you but you'll still love this place.
So much is going on it's a sensory overload. Fresh made mozzarella. Hard to find meats and cheeses. Fresh roasted coffee bar.
If you live within 3 hours of this place, you need to make the trip and spend the day there.
You can get lost in the store. The good news is you can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert all on the premises. Either at the coffee bar or in the outdoor patio.

This place is a MUST go! They have delicious food that you can eat either there or take home. They have lots of frozen food and dessert too and also a large selection of wine. You can find vegetables and meat there too.

It's OK. So crowded. Parking is horrible. I bought a chocolate cake and it tasted freezer burned. Yuck. $5 slice of cake and I had to throw it out. Cookies were bland. The lasagna was only OK. nothing to write home about. Sandwiches are really good and so is the coffee, so... stick to the deli and coffee bar and you'll do well!
