Mazagan Beach Resort Reviews

Great place to stay, great food and activities to do right next to the beach. The rooms are spacious too, and the bar in the casino is open until 5am, so you really do have everything right on your doorstep. It's a little far from the nearest city.. but I guess that's part of its charm too.. you feel transported into another "private oasis" and can walk for miles around their grounds.

Surprised that there is no socket in the bathroom. One of the two bedside lamps has no switch to turn on or off. One of the best breakfast I've ever had in the world

Great place to rest as a couple or with the family. Excellent infrastructure and very well maintained. Excellent restaurants Unbeatable treatment 10 min. from Al Jadida and 1 hour from Casablanca. Without a doubt, I return.

Scam alert! Travelers and tourists beware!!! Read this review!

Mazagan s casino claims to have 450 slot machines but 99% of them are 9 line machines that are 90-180 dirham per spin. They have only 5-6 single line progressive slot machines that are 9 dirham per pull. While we were there a group of people were sitting and playing 2 of the 9 dirham machines each but only pulling one of the two every 15 minutes. They were leaving frequently but leaving their cards and credits in, disallowing anyone else from using the machines. Eventually we complained to management and all they said was If you had someone spending a lot of money wouldn t you do the same thing? The management went and talked to the group and spent close to 30 minutes in conversation with them. During this time the group did not spin the machines once. The casino was encouraging the group to wait long periods of time in-between spins to ensure that all other guests had only high-cost machines to play. They were very rude when we voiced our concerns about this. I brought my wife here to show her those specific slots and we were not able to play them once the entire night.

When we left the casino at midnight the parking attendant informed us that if we chose to take a different taxi besides the casino taxi that we would be beaten up and have our cell phones and money stolen. They told us to go back to the entrance and ask for their free taxi. When we got to the entrance the taxi driver informed us that it was not free and would cost us 400 dirham to ride with them. At this time of night there are no other options for taxis and they use this tactic to scam people who do not stay at their hotel. This hotel/casino is located very far from the city limits of Jadida to ensure that this taxi scam works each and every time for tourists and travelers. Fortunately we had taken down a taxi driver s number from earlier in the evening who came to pick us up late at night. Make sure to get a number so you aren t scammed, robbed and potentially murdered.

Overall this casino was one of the worst casinos I ve been to in the world (and I ve been to some terrible casinos). I would encourage you to skip this place altogether and enjoy the souk, bazaar, beach and other offerings within the city limits. All I can say is shame on you Mazagan for being one of the worst experiences in Morocco. Huge thumbs down!

Incompetence in the reservation department
Regarding the room the Check in is from 3 p.m. so maybe 4 p.m. maybe 6 p.m. which is stupid it is a big hotel with several rooms unfortunately it is very badly managed with exorbitant prices

A very large resort with a link golf course designed by Gary Player and huge swimming pool. The breakfast spread could be better.

Beautiful place. Excellent food and atmosphere. Water pressure was too high in the shower which made it a little uncomfortable. I am sure some people might like this but too much for me.

It was nice to have a comfortable round because there are few golfers due to corona.

A beautiful hotel with a variety of sports and leisure facilities, the restaurant is of quality except for the Moroccan restaurant which is not up to the Moroccan cuisine considered as one of the best in the world and this restaurant is not representative of our culinary wealth.It is a pity

It's by no means bad, just stale and corporate-ish. If you're visiting a historical city such as El Jadida, do yourself a favor and stay in a smaller hotel.

Great and quiet place to stay for short and relaxing holiday. Nice and comfortable room with super facilities. The only draw back it is far from the city.

In response to Sergio Pereira's response, you lack coordination with booking, unlike hotels that respect their customers. And because of your lack of coordination, I HAVE LOST MY MONEY. And instead of understanding my situation and giving me at least one credit for another stay, you are literally kidding me !!!! Just for information, hotels that respect their customers, even in the event of a 100% error from the customer, they take the trouble to reserve a gesture of flexibility because they know that it is a customer, a human, and not just a number to cash as it is unfortunately the case for you ...

It is a really beautiful resort !! in Moroccan style, friendly and cooperative staff, overlooking the sea has 7 km beach, visited at the end of October mild climate 24 degrees during the day, spacious room, great food .. take an hour from Casablanca and 3 hours from Marrakech..il golf course is gorgeous very difficile..consigliatissimo

The Atlas Corporation was established in 1983, located 3km at the entrance to the city. Surrounded by Pharaohs, it offers a grand and majestic spectacle. Atlas studios can be visited when there is no filming by paying the sum of 30 DH: its sets are really worth the detour. The visit takes us from the sets of Gladiator, to Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra in particular. There are also symbolic objects from major films shot on site at the entrance.

Best hotel ever. The staff are friendly, everything went well and the food was lovely. During my visit here, I knew that there was nothing I can refuse to do. The lovely hallway for the great impression. The tight security for safety (literally, they pat me down!) and the activities, buffets, bars, shops and casinos you can visit. When I went there was a "WIN A CAR" that ended on June 2nd 2016. The smell was nice (Just had to mention it). They had clean rooms each fitted with a WiFi router, Ethernet cable and TV. I'd give this 5 Stars. Wanted to say something for Hassena who was our personal staff for our stay.
