Digital Matrix Studio Inc Review

They act like a group of dodgy guys. I haven' t met so dishonourable guys long time.
My experience is as follows:
I was about to buy a laptop over the internet from them and called to ask couple of additional questions when they realized that they had marked the laptop too cheap price!!!!! Then they started to talk that they actually don't sell that laptop anymore- i said" but you have it in your online shop marked as available". They said" we don' t have it in stock, we have to order it in". I said " no worries, i can wait". They said " well actually we can' t sell that laptop to you with the price marked in the online shop as it is wrong price". I said" according to the australian consumer law even if you have marked your product wrong price you have to sell it with the marked price" Then the guy got already annoyed by me and said arrogantly: " There is no such law" I said" i' m pretty sure there is such a law". They said: " No there's not". I said" fine, i'll go and check".
So i went and checked- sure enough there is such a law and when i went back to their online shop literally 3 minutes later that webpage with that product was taken down!!!!!!! I just couldn' t believe it......especially as they had so good review in facebook about that company......probably they have deleted all the negative comments and just left the positive ones as guys who are "suppose" to offer such a good service wouldn' t definately act like that.

spent $2000 at this store but apparently it wasn't enough. I was told my new processor wouldn't fit in my old motherboard so I was forced to buy a new one only to realise a week later it fit and I'd been sold an item I do not need.

I am an IT engineer with 10 years experience. If you go to this store you will be spoken to like your an idiot by a 18 year old internet troll who wants to prove a point. This store didn't even have pay wave so I could use apple pay from my iphone causing my trip to this store to be pointless and frustrating.

Incredibly rude in tone and body lanuage wouldnt even properly turn to address me. Went in about a fan and the fella behind the desk wouldnt even look at the thing or look up the price for a replacement piece.

The prices at Digital Matrix are sometimes competitive online PC stores but are often a bit more and there are not as many options for in-store products since it is a small store, but generally these guys are the best when you need hardware right away.

Every time I come in the staff are really friendly and willing to help which is a plus.

These guys seem to know their stuff. I am very happy with the way they are able to provide good advice and help you look for affordable solutions to your IT problems. Best of all, you do not need to be a youngish 'Gamer', they even speak older person that is technologically challenged language. Thank you for not making feel like a complete dill. Recommend these guys for all your IT needs whether for business or pleasure.

I'm an infrequent visitor to the shop and I'm always greeted with a smile by blokes who know their stuff, don't try overselling, are honest and sell their kit at decent prices. Shop with confidence.

Best place to locally buy computer parts and accessories

Bought a new PC from Digital Matrix a couple of years ago and have been buying my computer related equipment since. Good informative and friendly staff with great products at good prices

I go to them all the time big boss there has mass amounts of knowledge in pc hardware old and current the staff are awesome down to earth are not affaird to offer you somthing cheaper that will better suit your system. Bought a PC from this place, and i have no complaints the staff are super friendly and are always willing to help you with any problems you have.

I needed a cpu cooler, gave them my PC specs and they recommended a cooler, works great with my machine, thanks guys.

Prices on par or cheaper than what's available online. Not a lot of stock but a must place to check out if you are building your own pc.

Very friendly and polite staff. Prices are comparable with online stores most of the time. Huge range of high end products and some really good guys to chat about computer builds with. They don't try to upsell rubbish that you don't need and will often recommend better parts for your planned PC build. 10/10 guys!

Good selection of parts at a decent price when compared to online retailers as well as other shops. Good staff and great service.

I like them a lot, extremely friendly and keen to help. My only problems with Digital Matrix is I wish they were open a little later as I often cannot go when I would like due to work, and how tiny it is. They pack it in, a surprising amount of selection for the floor. However the selection still suffers from being so small. Hope they find a bigger place in the future; they deserve it!

Very friendly service. They ve been so helpful during COVID-19 restrictions in terms of helping me get my home office up and running. Only issue is that their website isn t up-to-date with their actual stock.

So.. I purchased a few Cougar products from the store about a month ago, is wasn't until the end of the month until I started using the equipment.

From the beginning I had nothing but issues... I contacted the store and explained the situation. With out hesitation the owner apologized for the performance of the gear on behalf of the manufacture and offered a credit for the items, which was quick and didn't waste my time.

I arrived at the store and straight away I was attended to, he explain the manufacture is a reliable brand but more targeted for entry level use, where I play an FPS style of games.

I was then shown alternatives that will help with my gaming experience, he explained every function and detail.. which resulted in replacing Cougar for Corsair. I was very happy with the products and service provided.

For those looking to purchase, consult with the owner about the products/ needs! the owner is straight to the point, do not do what I did and look at online reviews.. because they are all fake!! you let me down Reddit :/

Staff are great I was a difficult customer and they were great

You want it these guys have it. If they don't have it in store it's usually already on its way there. These guys will hook you up with a crazy awesome rig, from 4k display gaming with all the bells and whistles to a media station for Netflix. Got the knowhow to get you building your own and the skills to build it for you if your to lazy to go it DIY. These staff are hand picked organic nerds ready to get you up and running with the best gear at the best price.

Prices are reasonable and the guys know their stuff. Good range of stock on the shelves.

The guys at DM successfully diagnosed my new computer (faulty parts) and for a great price. Opened it up and found it cable managed FAR better than I ever could. Josh was extremely knowledgeable and gave me confidence the computer was in great hands during repair. Team is very passionate and will go above and beyond to help you out.

Just watch out for entry driveway which is extremely steep and will scrape your car. More component variety needed but otherwise 10/10

Went in to help a friend pick some stuff for his new computer he wants to build, but we ended up leaving as we felt we were being treated like idiots by very rude staff. Good prices on things but not gonna buy from rude people.

Wow! Very impressive staff very knowledgeable and friendly even to an old codger like me. You feel like you have entered another world when you enter the shop lots of stock every where with allsorts and of bells and whistles. My son wanted some more memory for his computer. They recognized his motherboatd and knew exactly what he needed. Very friendly staff. I used to build computers back in the 60's and 70's but they knew everything about everything..very helpful staff. Whole transaction was very simple and painless even to the wallet. Would definitively reccommend for all your computer needs.

Went in there with a basic idea of what I wanted and the staff were amazing at suggesting what parts work best with what parts, I built my PC from scratch and half of the parts I ended up buying were based on their recommendations, and my rig turned out amazing. Highly recommended shopping there and I will be definitely using them for future upgrades.

My go to for computers either be custom made or their premade computers. The team can do simple explainations for easy understanding. Great with repairs too.

I have been to Digital Matrix Computers multiple times, sometimes just to have a browse and ask some advice or to purchase equipment, regardless of my reason for going I was always treated with the same respect.

I recently had my machine moved into a new case with some new parts and what I got in the end was absolutely fantastic, I can't thank the the team enough, especially Blake and Samantha for answering all my questions (whether the questions were smart or dumb) and for doing the build.

The staff at DMC have a relaxed yet professional attitude which always makes visiting a please as the staff are always up for a chat.

I like this shop. No nonsense, with good advice. I like supporting the little guys. Sure, you can get most things a little cheaper online, but when you need a new gaming mouse, you need it now. That's where Digital Matrix comes in. I've never gone in there and walked out without what I wanted. Unless it's better.

Fantastic service and advice. Had issues with my computer and sorted it within 24 hours of dropping it in. Also had some re-occuring issues which they sorted out due to software issues. They are my go to for any issues, upgrades or whole system replacement.

Decent prices and stock available. Would be nice if they stocked more brands.
